The Ungulate Declaration of Revolution,
When in the Course of Furry events, it becomes necessary for one species to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with other predatory species, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the controlling and superior station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's Creator entitle them, an unrequited respect to the opinions of furrykind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the revolution.
We hoofers hold these truths to be self-evident, that all Ungulates are created superior to Canies, Vulpies and Felines, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Uniqueness, Independence and the pursuit of Revolution.--That to secure these rights, Administrators are instituted among Furries, deriving their just powers from the consent of the Ungulates, --That whenever any Group of Predatory Species becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the Hoofers to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Controlling Administrators and Moderators, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Aggression, indeed, will dictate that Forums long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown, that Ungulates are more disposed to suffer, while evils are insufferable, and to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and attacks, pursuing invariably the same Predatorial Species Groups evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Furries, and to provide new UberHoofs for their future security.--Such has been the patient sufferance of these Ungulates; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Administration. The history of the present Moderators and Administrators of Furtopia is a history of repeated injuries and attacks, all having in direct action the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these Hoofers.
In every stage of these Oppressions We hoofers have petitioned for redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Forum Owner whose character is thus marked by every act which may define him as a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of the hooved furries.
Nor have We been wanting any attentions to our Predator brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their packs and prides to extend an unwarrantable hunt over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our uniting and organizing here. We have appealed to their native insticts and rules, and we have pleaded with them by the ties of our common furriness to disavow these attacks, which, they would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been deaf to the voice of hoofy administrators and moderators to the forum. We must, therefore, denounce the Predators in our Revolution, and hold them, as we hold the rest of Canids, Vulpines and Felines, Enemies in War and in Peace.
We, therefore, the United Ungulates of Hooftopia, in General Agreement, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Hoofer of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good Hoofers of these Ungulates, solemnly publish and declare, That these United Ungulates are, and of Right ought to be Unique and Independent Revolutionaries; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to Whiteshepard, and that all political connection between them and Furtopia, is and ought to be totally dissolved by Revolution; and that as Unique and Independent Ungulates, they have full Power to levy Revolution, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Trade, and to do all other Acts and Things which United Ungulates may of right do. And for the support of this Declaration of Revolution, with a firm reliance on the protection of the UberHoof, we mutually pledge to each other our Hides, our Horns and our Hooves.
