It was rather strait forward for me:

My fursona is a dog, my 1st name is Kai. It just so happened that it sounded good when put together, and voila! KaiDog!!! '<img'>

I like emo music, and I'm a kitten.  But I decided to play with the spelling a little.

I was creating him in Baldur's Gate II and got to the name entry part. Up until that point in time he was always "That umbreon dude with the spear." I thought and thought and thought about names that would fit an Umbreon, then I came up with Ringo. Its ideal.

My original fursona (and my long-time love) was a Phoenix.  So Ashes is quite an appropriate name for such a bird.  imo.  ''

Wolfnevets is wolf + my first name spelled backwards-"Steven". Some folks know me as Nevets Azodrac.

"Aloha Wolfox" my fursuit name is a combination of my love of my Hawaiian honeymoon experience "Aloha" and the last name is a combinational wolf/fox word play.

Most furs that know me in RL don't call me Wolfnevets but Aloha, which is OK with me!

I do sign my artwork that I do as---- S."Aloha" Cardoza. ''

When I created one of my main characters in EverQuest, I just sat at the character select screen forever, until I figured that "Exottica" would be an appopriate name for a kick-butt, uber sexy, female dark elf warrior.  '<img'>  I never had any feelings attached to it, but it's been with me as a name going on seven years now, so I attach it to all characters I create in games, as well as my fursona.  I'm not "exotic" or anything... considering I'm just a random person from GA.  Nowadays though, I respond to "Exo" like it was my own name now, it's sad.   '<img'>

The name Lavender comes from Lavender Eyes, a name I used on a hourse RP on an RP site somewhere. I just kinda used it for when I came set up my own (I'd used the name of another horse for when I discovered an anthro RP on the site.)

Vergessen (my surname) is the German word for forget. Which comes from yet another charictor which remains unused.

Purely by chance...

There is no reason why I chose Unkempt, except that it sounded cool at the time.  And with the all the shortenings of it (UK, Kempty, Unk), and how they can be used, has only proven to me that it was the absolute right choice.  You can say that about many of my decisions involving the fandom.  Made on the fly, but turns out to be the best thing I could've chosen.

Now, Unkempt's "true" name, Aaron Trundiel, is a different story.  Trundiel is the family name I created from the word turndial, and it's shared as a last name of a royal family throughout one of my stories.  Unkempt is the main character of the story and is the last of the line.  How I got Aaron is because my alias is "A. Furry Mcfur".  The A had to stand for something, and I plan on using Alex in real life, hence, Aaron.

Good question. No idea of how did I came to use Serra Belvoule, but Serra it's the name I always use in vidoegames where you choose your name, and the Belvoule came when I needed a last name for my Fursona. I mean, Serra Tiger is not as cool as Serra Belvoule, if you ask me. '<img'>

I've been a Lost Cause for a long time.

The name sort of found me and stuck

It started off as a french teaching summing up my chances oF learning the language.
I’ve made my statement and I stand by it, but I could be wrong.

You know the moments when an idea just pops up in your mind out of nowhere and that particular idea actually seems like a good one?

That's the story how the name "Flint" was born.

I never really had a furry name... till now. I've decided on Ravn Pine. It makes sense I guess because porcupines eat tree bark. Plus it sounds cool... Ravn Pine. ''

My Furry name is Fritz Sebastian Jager. I've used this name for years. I first put it to use when I wrote stories for Fanfiction.net about three, maybe four years ago.
The title TigeyYigey was given to me by my good friend FuzzlePup.

I chose a tiger because I love them. I'm doing what I can to help protect this endangered species. Tigers are a big part of my life. The Amur tiger is the biggest of all the sub-species. So me being a pretty big person, thought that would be the best choice. Tigers are solitary, as am I. I was also told from a friend that the fur coat of an Amur goes better with my personality. So uh.....yeah. Tis me!

My boyfriend chose his name "Sincere as a Dog" from the fiona apple song, "parting gift". So i followed along with him and went with Sly as a Fox. Not from any song, but it sounds like it could be ^-^

My first idea for a fursona was a wolf, so I was looking around at different breeds of wolf and stuff, and from that, somehow, I came up with the name Bailey. The wolf eventually became a sarcastic and nasty fox fursona, with a pretty stupid, cartoony look. A little after I met my boyfriend-to-be, I wanted to change my fursona to a raccoon, because of how utterly cute Ralph Raccoon is from The Raccoons. Because of this change I wanted a new name as well, so out of the blue I picked Roarey, because it sounded good to me and was similar to Bailey. Mehs  '<img'> .

Here's the freakish picture of Bailey I did, back in 2003 XD:

Actually, there's nothing hugely interesting about how I came up with my name.  I just used to have a dog called Saul, of which I liked the sound of, so I took it for myself :3.

Esay: The fursona is the opposite of the person (and, as the same time, is like its flesh and essence). I, in the realyty, am Giovanni. Giovanni in italian, means "vain person of the earth". And I am the negation of that. I hate the vanity, the moral and the religion. So, in fursona and in soul, I am Innavoig, the negation of vanity, the negation of the humanity.
Please forgive my english ortographic errors.

As for my Wolf fursona I love the color black and I love wolves and I like indian stuff so I thought I mixed in my favorite color and my feet since I can be found wearing black shoes and or boots and once in a while black socks with my black shoes, and as for my dragon that is a long story of it's own and it would be hard to describe how he got his name.

Well, Draska (pronounced Draw-skuh) s the name of a character I came up with ages ago for an alien race that I also came up with ages ago.  Once upon a time I started writing out his life story, etc, but it never panned out. When I discovered the fandom, I came up with a cat morph i promtly named after thsi character. There you have it =)
Um....what?

First thing that popped into my head before curiousity pulled me into a furry chat room on WinMX. I thought my fursona would be a wolf, so that's that part. Then I just shoved 'eg' on the end for no reason really.

I'm stubborn with aliases, I hardly ever change them or make a new one. The six years I've been playing online games I've gone by one name the whole time.
-> Not a Wolf.

-> Feel free to add to MSN (wolfeg@hotmail.co.uk), I don't do much in the evenings and don't mind a chat.

Nalerenn was just a name that my Ex called me. It kinda grew on me. As for my username, well ... It just sounded cool. I had to have "Wolf" in it somewhere, though.

The first thing that introduced me to the furdom was me stumbling into Furtopia for the first time.

I was intrigued and went to research about this new thing, then realised that many of the things I normally do (e.g. barking) was part of the furry community and I released the fursona within me.

Sorry, I've digresed, I seem to be pouring out my soul. ''
