Plushie stingrays!

Ok, so they aren't all sting rays, but most of them are. There's a few halibut and a few narwhals in there as well.
These are the first things I ever made! I made my own pattern for these as well. The first ones I made are the super little ones, which were a pain. I upped the size for the next ones, but they still are a bit to small. It's hard to enlarge patterns when I don't have access to a scanner though.
They're ok I guess, not quite where I want them to be at all, but they aren't that bad for my first attempt at plushies. I need to work on a way to get the center puffy bit on the sting rays nice and pretty and symmetrical. I also need to work on the mouths of the halibut (they're supposed to be open). I like the little beady doll eyes a lot more than buttons as well, but that's just because I hate trying to sew on buttons. The narwhals need to have a better spot for their horn to go on, and I need to move that dart I think. They also need to be sized up quite a bit.

Yes, the ones with the pointy fins are actually supposed to be manta rays! I even included the little flappy mouth parts in my pattern, but since they're so small I wasn't able to get them to come out in the fabric. You can kinda see them in the light blue one where I hand sewed them, but even that doesn't quite work with the size.

Heck yes! That's the plan, as soon as I get myself over to a kinkos or some place that can enlarge.

Ooooh! That would be super fun! These are made out of fleece, so a blanket would be nice and comfy! Especially if I got some quilt batting in the wings.

oh i see, i didn't see them. i have a beanie baby manta ray . if ya want i can take some pictures of it and send them so you can se some ways that did it, get some ideas, if that isn't plagiarism or anything like that.
