Yarn Tails
« on: December 01, 2013, 01:13:47 pm »
I have head and seen of these, and these tails always look ultra realistic.
im really interested in how these are made, ive always made my own fursuits but my tails have never come close to how these look.
if someone could tell me how to make these or can direct me to a very good tutorial that would be appreciated.

Tutorials for yarn tails can be,  honestly, rather difficult to find.  Bir had a supposedly amazing one for a while but removed it and doesn't talk to people who ask for the information now.

Youtube,  however,  has a couple tutorials up:

This is for the braiding style.

There's also a style somewhere around where you crochet a tube and thread a chain through it,  then attach the threads through the holes in the crochet.
