At first glance, it looks weird, but I think now it looks very...nice.

I kinda like it as a sculpture but not what it hints at as far as future possibility. The meerkat hybrid  one she did is pretty neat too.

It's interesting, but the whole explanation about what the collection of works symbolizes was a major turnoff. I've heard much more about "the dangers of runaway scientific development" than I have about scientific development itself. To me it pretty much reeks of right-wing religious propaganda, and that in turn spoils any artistic value of the piece itself for me. ':p'

Creeped me out a little, but yes, from an artistic standpoint, that really is amazing. That scupture must've taken an incredible amount of time, thought, and hard work!

That artist is just absolutely amazing. When I was looking through the gallery that article linked to, I kept seeing all these children in the pictures, and I was like, nice, children, but they were... part of the sculptures.

You're right. It is beautiful, after you've gotten over the initial shock of it.

Well... they look ugly to me... but I understand why they were made how they are.  But I thought they were photoshopped until I read these posts. (but it would have been no less credit to the person who made them)

Thats .... wow...

Eerie really. Eerie doesnt mean bad... the sculptures are amazingly done. But chilling nonetheless with the general thought behind the work.

I believe a "what the heck?" is in order. That's an odd piece of art. It's well done though.

When I first saw this a while back I did think it was really weird & disturbing. Now though I am just amazed at the detail and thought put into each of those sculptures. They are still a bit creepy and I’m not entirely found of the reasoning behind the collection but they are amazing.

I think the pups are kinda cute and the whole scene is beautifal, but at the same time it's incredibly disturbing because it seems as though something like this could become reality in a matter of years.

Interesting, and beautifully done. I particularly like how the mother creature is looking at her baby.

Kind of reminds me of these which I absolutely want and am completely disgusted by the idea of, at the same time.

I SAW THIS SCULPTURE SERIES. It was exhibited at the contemporary art museum in the next town over from where I live. '<img'>

Just wanted to get that out there before the topic gets locked for gravedigging.
