The Cat Piano
« on: September 06, 2009, 09:58:50 pm »
This is a neat short film done by the Australian animation team The People's Republic of Animation (I love the name).  A nice blend of crime film noir, beatnik poetry and narrative storytelling, it's a tale about a society of cats that looks to solve the mystery of their disappearing musicians.  A very stylistic and beautiful piece.  Take a look!

Wow that looks awesome. I'll have to watch it later today when I have time. Where'd you hear about this?

It was the Link of the Day today on FA. It looks pretty good, I'll probably watch it in a little while.

I saw it on an animation forum that I belong to some months ago, but they took down the trailer.  As soon as they released it for public viewing again I had to share!  The creators had done this as a previous short some time ago, and they've been slowly getting more publicity.  I'm excited for them and can't wait for more of their work.
