A friend of mine posted this link on facebook. It's a neat little flash game sort of thing where you can take a webcam picture or upload a photo of yourself, and have it run through a database and pair you up with an adoptable dog somewhere in the world based on similar appearance. I was having fun with it, and the results I got were pretty accurate!

So, what kind of dog did you get paired with? For those of you with canine fursonas, is it similar to your chosen species?

Anyway, it suggested a "Whippet Cross Heeler" for me.  He's a cute dog, but, not really my style.  For my husband, it suggests a "Bull Terrier Cross" -- a thuggish looking beast that's not at all his style.  (He's a big fan of English Springer Spaniels with their long curly ears.)  For my three-year-old daughter, it took three tries to get a picture that it would actually accept.  Then, it suggested a "Medium Cross Breed" that looks pretty much like every generic mutt I've seen in a shelter.  My daughter doesn't seem too impressed, but, then, she is deeply engrossed in playing a My Little Pony computer game.

lol, the first time it didn't even get most of my face >.< (I clicked, 'take picture'', the computer lags, and then it gets the left side of my head and a lot of the wall & a picture on the wall... and it accepted it, so I was all like, 'why not? X3')... interestingly that produced a 58% match, which was a higher number than my other two matches at 57% (3rd try, had monitor glare on my glasses X3) and 56% (second try, it missed my mouth because I was too close and didn't realize it would not resize the selection box thingy).

Interestly, I got mixed breeds for every try after the first (that doesn't count, because it was the wall >.< + a picture & frame), matching my rather mixed genetic heritage.
