New Morsville...Five Months Ago...the civilized world as we knew it fell apart...
This is hardly what i'd call living! Constantly on the run from those...things. Geeks, walkers, zeds...whatever you call them. Living off of whatever food we manage to scrape up, never being able to really plant ourselves anywhere. Some ran to the military, others to the police...look what happened to them...others tried holing up in those evac zones...death traps are a more fitting name. We're still living...don't know how but we are. But one thing I know...it ain't always the dead outside...sometimes it's the person next to you...
That's right! My first Rp ever on Furtopia...back and reloaded.
However I want this time around to feel more...real. No super-soldier characters, no crazed cannibalistic murderers (You know who you are...), we're gonna just be a bunch of average fursons banking our skills together to try and make something of this world...
Let's lay down some rules...
1. No God-modding or auto-hitting player characters, period.
2. No character limit but please, PLEASE play within your limitations
3. Keep any disagreements in the OOC thread and civil.
4. Three sentence minimum for posting, try and be descriptive with your posts.
5. If I say no to a character...it means no! Either leave them out or adjust them for the RP.
6. Failure to follow these rules can result in punishments from pulling the rug from under your characters when you need it most to expulsion...you get two warnings before said actions will be taken.
Also remember...This RP is Invitation-Only! Those who have invites...you know who you are so let's get to posting!

Crafting system...sure maybe you can't make a rocket-powered-chainsaw-jetpack but you can still make some good stuff to help you fend of the biters and live another day. Here's a few basic recipes to get you started...

Species: timber wolf
Gender: female
Occupation: firefighter
Clothing: navy station cargo pants and a black tank top under standard bunker gear, though she often takes the jacket off.
Looks: light strawberry-blonde type color fading to dark red on her muzzle, hands, feet, and tail. Well kept figure and fairly fit in appearance. Not extremely beautiful, but fairly attractive, maybe due to the decent sized crescent shaped scar on her right cheek. Has a tattoo of a Maltese cross with a rose inside it on her left hip, though most won't see it. Has black hair, but keeps it cut about even with the corners of her jawbone.

So, since all of my other characters were brutally executed, i'm going to be using one of my new characters. That being said, though i've been working on the new four for at least a week now... none of them are quite ready yet. Just as well i suppose, cause it's pretty clear that i'm not in a condition to RP right now anyways.
I will modify this post later when i have a character card ready. ;)

Clothing: EMT boots, torn black jeans, EMT uniform shirt unbuttoned to green sleeveless shirt, black and dark green vest, silver cross necklace.
Looks: Stands 6'3", thin but toned build, emerald green eyes, wolfish teeth, brown hair that often covers his right eye, gray fur with black raccoon mask, rings on his tail, and white on his stomach, cheeks and snout. Bright blue tribals on the left side of his face, neck, torso, and left arm.
Personality: Can be rather arrogant and hot-headed but genuinely cares about the well-being of others, kind and open.
Backstory: All began while Blades' mother was away on a business trip in Marksburgh. Blades had pulled a 24-hour shift on call with his fellow EMT Emily Perel. First day, they get a call for a man in cardiac arrest. They show up to the house to find the man dead on the living room floor, his older son over him, trying to resuscitate him...suddenly the man sprang up and bit his son on the arm and then lept on Emily. Blades quickly kicked the man off of Emily and get her, the woman of the house, and her two sons out. When they stepped outside it was a scene of carnage...people attacking one another and biting and killing...They bounded to the ambulance barely getting in in time and bolted for the hospital. After the young man was dropped at the hospital, the phones and radios were ringing off the hook. Blades told Emily to take the ambulance and the boy and mother with her family in the neighboring town. After that Blades went home, locked the door, prayed for a little bit, left a note for mama, and set out to find his friend Faye.

Name: Edgar Moore
Age: 22
Species: Orca/Aquatic Dragon
Gender: Male
Occupation: Nurse
Clothing: Green T-Shirt, Grey hoodie, black Jeans, Blue Sneakers
Looks: Incredibly tall, standing at a whopping 7'1". However, despite his height, he is rather skinny. Basically what you'd expect an anthropomorphic orca to look like, except everything that would have been black is a dark blue instead, and his head his distinctly more dragon-like than orca-like. Thin pink folds of skin between fingers (Has to hold guns a bit awkwardly).
Personality: Despite his somewhat threatening appearance, he's actually very timid and shy, sometimes even refusing to talk around people he doesn't feel comfortable around. However, when he trusts you, he can be quite friendly. But he always seems to be a bit on edge, always anxious about something.
Backstory: Edgar barely got to fulfill his role as a nurse at all before the world came to it's knees. He was on his shift, and then a flood of patients came in, and then, well, people started eating each other. Edgar was one of the first people to realize that staying and attempting to treat patients who were actively infecting the people trying to treat them was a lost cause. Despite the pleas of his coworkers, he left to go to his parents house, to make sure they were okay. Upon arriving, Edgar discovered the body of his father, who'd died with his gun in hand. Thankfully, the body was damaged enough so that coming back to life was impossible. The body of his mother was nowhere to be seen. Edgar spent the following days in what one would call hysterics. He even attempted to kill himself at one point, but never mustered up the strength to do so. The first days after discovering his dad's body were loud and chaotic. If he had been able to muster up the courage to sleep, he wouldn't have been able to fall asleep anyways, what with all the screaming and sirens going off in the distance. Then there was silence, occasionally broken by a gunshot, or a scream. Edgar ran out of food, and realized that he'd have to either venture out, or starve to death. After burying his father in the backyard, and leaving a note for his mother, in the hopes that she'd come to the house and find it, Edgar went out in search of supplies.

Looks: Gold eyes, red-orange fur. Black patch of fur over her right eye and side of face. Blonde streak of fur going from the top of her head all the way down to her lower back.
Personality: Somewhat reluctant to talk to others, she can remain silent as long as she needs to be since she is cautious of others. Not the most trustworthy person herself? Her own trust is hardly given out unless the situation absolutely calls for it. (More to be revealed in story.)

Clothing: Instead of mechanic overalls. He simply wears a oily and dirt covered grey shirt. And some casual torn jeans. He wears special steel toe boots developed for digigrade leg style, they are tan colored.

Backstory: Theo has been the lead mechanic and owner of his own shop for several years. He has several usual customers and the regular walk ins. Whether it was for regular car trouble, or upgrades. He was the canine to see. Since then of course he's devoted all his time to keeping his personal vehicle running. But finding gas isn't so easy.

yeah, also you can store stuff you can't carry in your vehicle if you have one.
Also for all a note on scavenging...you just say when you're looking through a location and i'll describe what lootable goods are there.

Looks: A dark blue fur color with the end of her tail being white. A yellow "tribal" shaped birthmark on her right cheek. Bright purple eyes. One her of canine teeth is silver. Dark purple hair with yellow highlights in it. The hairlength goes down to her mid-back. 5'10" 132 lbs.
Personality: Let's just say she's a little bit excited when it comes to violence. She is often covered with the blood of the dead but she doesn't mind it. She's pretty friendly albeit a little of a hotshot. She's extroverted and always looking on the bright side of the situation. She is always ready to help (but I think that's only her hoping there's violence involved). But that's not to say she can't be serious. But you don't wanna see her like that.
