Does anyone else feel the urge to just bite, or gnaw on stuff?

This morning during work (3rd shift, yay!

'> I had cut myself with an x-ascto knife and had put on one of those finger band-aids. Throughout the rest of the day I constantly felt the urge to just bite down and start gnawing away on the bandage. Would've been nice, except I knew where that finger was

It's been like that throughout my life. The hardest thing for me not to bite was actually brick. @_@? My grandparent's place have this fireplace with brickwork around it, and I kept on wanting to just gnaw away.

Same goes with a couple of friends, but that's getting into the realm of wierdness with them

Anyone else find it hard not to just clamp down on something and start chowing?

I used to carry a box of toothpicks in my pocket to gnaw on, and straws were always fair game. Nowadays I prefere to gnaw on carrots. I don't take a bite, I truely gnaw on them like a beaver

Im always using my teeth for something, if i cant open something il bite it, when i get super angry i jus bite something as hard as posible (ie: thers a big tooth mark in my playstation controller)

i used to knaw on my tshirt too when i was 10, i dont do it anymore now though, but i cant stand biting wool :S

sometimes when im bored il start chewing a pencil or something

I like chewing on stuff. It's strangely calming, and helps me clear my head.

Eh, I like knawing on wood (popsicle sticks, ect) and always have done... I also like viciously snapping TicTacs into shards because they won't break teeth!

... In a related habit, I love shredding paper. Especially wrappings. I like opening the sugar freight at work!

I tend to gnaw on pens whenever I'm writing. Not the actual pen part, but just the cap.

I gnaw on my pen/pencil when I'm thinking ':dead:'

Me and my friends pretty much gnaw each-other's limbs when we get bored. In fact whenever I'm on the internet and my best friend is in the room she just has to gnaw on my left arm/shoulder ':shock:'

I chew on stuff all the time. I actually have stolen rawhide chews from my dogs (new, not with dog drool) to keep myself from gnawing on the coffee table. I can't help it...

yea, chewing on stuff is a lot of fun and relaxing. Many a pen and pencil have been destroyed by me. Those rawhides are good, little hard till you get going, then yum!!

another wooden chewer (is it cribbing in my case?) I also have a thing for those plastic rings on 20 oz soda bottles. and St.Augustine grass.. I love the stems on it.

Chewing gum just doesn't fill the need to gnaw on something. It's too soft.
