Real fox tail

I want to know how you furs feel about real tails. I own two

I have one myself but i don't were it. occasionally I will when I paintball, it doesn't really bother me.

I'm guessing we're talking about a taxidermy fox tail? Like one from an actual fox?

I wouldn't mind in most cases.

It depends..

For my morals it is okay to have something like that, if you respect it as something what has once lived. But if you only see it as "purchasable object" I will not accept that.

Same goes with having a funeral urn on top of fireplace. It is okay to have one if you don't only see it as decoration object etc. But seeing one only as a room decoration is insult for the person who has died. (I'm sure lot of you agree)

I am ok with it as long as someone didn't kill the fox just for it's tail.

There is little reason to kill any animal for it's parts other than those used for food. Most good synthetic fur looks or feels natural.

Like what Old Rabbit said, I'm a hunter and if we get an deer we mostly eat all of it, and I ask for the antlers as a keep sake for that one trip to remember it as a fun time and that we actually got a deer. So same with a tail if you went Fox hunting(usually Fox hunting is for mostly hunting clubs) and you actually got  a Fox you could keep that to remind you had fun and you actually got your target (and a tasty meal).

I in fact have a lovely silver fox tail, but I draw the line if they animal suffered a horrific death. I am not sure what the story is on my tail. It was a gift since my father knew I wanted one alot.

I also agree with Old Rabbit.  Any animal hunted should be fully utilized.

Regarding synthetic furs, they're also significantly easier to care for. 

I wouldn't own a fox tail, but I do admit to owning a rug that was made out of a fur coat.

I agree with Old rabbit. I have a real one but wear it often. I also have  real fox ears.

i think that a fox deserves to keep its tail, it's part of its pride.
