IRC Client Befuddlement

I can't connect to the IRC with an iPhone client. Here's the error code:

I've tried connecting to irc.furtopia.org:6002, irc.furtopia.org:6007, and irc2.furtopia.org:81, and none worked.


Edit: Sorry for the glitchiness, this class has terrible reception.

I've given up on trying to IRC on my phone, at least for now. I'll post something if I can't get it working with a paid app in a few days.

Also it's important to note that IRC has outages every once in a while.  If you have problems connecting on your phone,  make sure you /can/ connect on the web-client before worrying about your client failing.


I connect from my iphone all the time and have had pretty good luck with LimeChat.

Get rid of the "http://" in the server address. It should just be "irc.furtopia.org"
