Okay. I just gotta ask. Which of these looks better, or do they both look the same.

I horizontally flipped the image so it would be left handed like me. And was surprised by the difference it made. (To me the left-handed one looks awful.)

Your used to seeing most people do things with their right hand.  However since your left I think I like the left one better.

"Lefties" are not suposed to be as common.  But from the last time I looked at the polls it lookes like a 2-1 right to lefts.  However I have heard a lot of artists are left handed.  So that may explain a lot.

(giggles) Since I am right handed, looking at the bottom one (left handed) just seemed off but I know it isn't. Just my brain having to adjust to the different hand writing/drawing. If that makes any sense. '<img'>

It's the ear. The ear on the uh... non-pencil side. It looks to me like it's a little too far from his eyes. Yet it looks fine to me in the right-handed version. (If you look at my avatar, you may notice I lowered the ear a bit, and he's left-handed)

That's just it. All I did was flip the thing. That shouldn't make that big of difference, yet to me it does.

Well, while you did flip the exact same image, I think the expression on the face, with the tounge sticking out makes it look like the little guy is concentrating really hard... and has been for quite some time.

So the one with the pencil in the right (top pic) looks as though he has been writing more then one line.  Like maybe he is writing about six lines down the page.  So the position of the pencil on the paper seems to match the facial expression to me.

In short, I think it's up to the viewer's interpretation of what is going on in the piece as to which one looks more appealing.  Either way, it's a cute little fox. :-)
