Publishing a site

I'm using frontpage to make and publish my site. I want to upload but I'm a bit confused how. In frontpage there is a built in publisher. It asks me for the remote website location, which must start with ftp://

I tried ftp://ftp.furtopia.org and ftp://ftp.Brightscale.furtopia.org and both times I was given access denied. I had put in my name and password.

So what should I try next?

ftp.futopia.org is correct. If your name and password are right, you should have no problem. Hmm...

Maybe you should try an uploader like FileZilla. It works beautifully for me.

It could be just that feature doesnt like the site. Dreamweaver refuses to accept my furtopia site here with its own internal ftp program so as Kivva said you might need to just use Kivva's suggestion and use Filezilla or another ftp program.

If a ftp program does not give you access try choosing (Passive Mode) in it's settings.  That sometimes works when others don't.

Filezilla Is all I use to upload things, works great for me.
FireFTP for FireFox is another good one. FireFTP works right in your bowser.
