Why is the post-preview box so small?!
« on: January 30, 2010, 08:04:06 pm »
It's like a line high!  I can't preview my posts really at all! :o Am I the only one with this problem? (I briefly looked over recent topics and didn't see anything...) Sorry if this is repeated or something =o
Understanding leads to empathy,
Empathy leads to admiration,
Admiration leads to love

Optimism leads to disappointment,
Pessimism leads to joy,
although, with optimism you are happy almost all the time,
and pessimism you are sad almost all the time.

Where's the line between being bored and generally too lazy to do anything? :p

Looks alright on my browser. It's all the same size font as normal post. What browser are you using?

I'm having the same thing Foxxhoria, using Google Chrome here but haven't tried in other browsers. Spell Check is broken on Chrome as well.
Previously known as Omni. Now known as mlatylorxu (catfox) or, at times, as mlatu (cat).

Yeah I think it's Chrome.  The font size and everything is normal, but the box only shows one line of it at a time! (and thus when you scroll down it skips most of it on the way :/)  I'm not sure about the spellchecker though, I generally ignore them ;)

Yeah, it's a Chrome thing. I've just kinda ignored it anyhow. Only times I preview a post is if I put a picture in it, and I don't do that often. But spellcheck does work for me in Chrome. Odd that some are having troubles with it.

Interestingly enough spell check doesn't work for me in Opera. I used to. Then randomly stopped x_x Haven't tried it in FF or IE. Since Opera has a built in spell checker I've kinda forgotten about it.

The same thing occurs with Safari. And since I use post preview all the time, this is a real pain.  It's particularly bad for PMs since you can't change the message once you've sent it. At least with a normal forum post you can edit it if you find you've made a mistake or the formatting was wrong or something.
