Frequent outages?

Is it high volumes of traffic or is the temporary server just flakey? I've experienced 4 downtimes in the last 3 days.

I've experienced the same thing! Though, it might be less about the server, and more with the giant storm, earlier this morning  x_x..

No storm here this morning.


and our internet is via underground fiber-optic cables... so yeah.  not like a storm is going to disrupt that, especially considering our 'storms' are considered drizzle to light-rain else where.

The IRC and Forums have died once for me. Unfortunately the only person to answer the question properly currently would be WS.

Ah ok.

It seems they have been dying intermittently for relatively sort periods of time (~15mins?)

I guess we'll just wait for WS then.

The last time I noticed that I couldn't get to the forums was last night.
Any time I notice the forums are down and that I can't get connected, I'm on the phone to WS about it. ;)

Oh, if it were high traffic or the server being down, would there be any way to tell the difference? (easily anyways)

Avan, There's no need to worry. If the forums are down, myself or another Admin will be on the phone to WS to get the situation fixed. Don't worry. ;) Forums tend to go down for a variety of reasons. The only thing anybody can do is "just wait" till things come back.
