outages?

Yesterday and today my website (www.ryoko.furtopia.org) has randomly been going down, it would look like.
Currently as of... 10:09 A.M. Central, this is what i'm getting:

The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
        
    *   The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
          moments.

    *   If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
          connection.

    *   If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure

check it again... i'm unable to load it and i checked http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/rainbow-vomit.com and it wasn't able to load it either, whats weird is i asked a friend who lives elsewhere to load it and it loaded for them, albliet slowly and they said it almost timed out. sometiems it loads...sometimes it doesnt...you just happen to be catching the times that it does :/

I've noticed myself that my own Furtopia space has been slow to respond at times, though it does eventually load.

I've already contacted both WS and Kada-Ru about various issues in this forum. Other than that, there's little else I can do for you as I do not know Ftp and all that other website stuff. You'll just have to be patient. Have you looked through this thread here?

yea, i read that forum when it first came out. everything has been fine since the server upgrades, untill 3 days ago. guess i just have to wait for sysops.

Still having probs with site down-ness. 4:28 PM central, tuesday. won't load. I'm having really bad luck with the admins checking it when it decides to be up and not down  :P

It's loading extremely slowly for me - way too slowly. But I'm getting the message you put up:

Why does http://rainbow-vomit.com redirect to http://www.ryoko.furtopia.org/ instead of http://ryoko.furtopia.org/ ?

This could be your problem. The link with www in it doesn't load where as the other does.

i don't have control over my domain, someone else ordered it for me and any time i need something changed i have to wait for them to do it, they must have put it like that. that said, it doesn't matter what url i type in, or how i type it, i'm unable to load my website.

Wierd, it's doing the opposite for my domain of cloudchasershaconage.  http://cloudchasershaconage.furtopia.org won't load and http://www.cloudchasershaconage.furtopia.org does.

Not that it's a problem, I don't care as long as it does load.

At this moment, Ryoko's site is loading perfectly for me from both links. Moonbarker's site isn't loading at all from either link. o_o

This is bizarre, man. Why is everybody having different experiences every time they click? The time of day, the composition of the URL, and possibly the location of the visitor all seem to be factors. Either that, or the outages are just random. :P Is it possible that Furtopia's only letting through a certain amount of traffic every hour, let's say, and if you don't load the page at the right time you're out of luck?

At the moment, I'm getting different results.  Without the www, it starts to load and stops.  With the www, it won't load at all.  This is at 10:50am Eastern time

Seems to be doing that way with ftp too.  I have to keep trying every couple of minutes until it connects

We've had some lines to the house replaced last week.  Also I posted on testing some IPs in your other post to see if that makes a difference.  I do want to track this problem down.

I haven't needed to connect to FTP for a few days, though over the weekend, furtopia.org has worked just fine for me, no delay in response.
