We will be having another Furtopia camp out at Carter Caves State Park this year! http://parks.ky.gov/resortparks/cc/index.htm

This years trip will start June 23rd!

Last year was a blast. We enjoyed the weather, beautiful scenery, some good caving, and a cook off. Fun things to do but also relaxing and visiting.

The cost of a camp site is $22/night and that is split between those who show up. Last year camping costs were about $5 a furson.

'> There is water, electric, and bathrooms/showers available. We will secure the camp site. Members who wish to join us are responcible for their own food, and tents (etc).

I REALLY need a head count to know who is comming so let me know if you really are comming. That lets me know whether to get one or two lots.

Same here- that's the weekend following AC and many of us will not be able to take additional time off from work to attend something so soon.

I would tend to agree with Las and Sporty. I'll be kinda broke from AC and I'm also in the process of looking for a new apartment so June is kinda rough for me.

The 23rd we realized won't be doable even for us. WS's mom is at the end of her dissertation and her oral defense is on the 23rd so he will be checking into some other days I believe. So, stay tuned!

I'll be coming back from a teaching conference with my mother in Perry, GA. So I'll be bushed after that. I really, really, REALLY wanna go next year though. Be sure to take alot of pictures for me! :'D

Ok this comfirms for me that you can do camping stuff.

This is in America though, so I'm thinkin' of maybe in the enar future starting some UK meets, in forest sites and stuff.

Ooooo...something else that looks really fun that I can't go to...

Never really told my parents about furry. I wanted to go to AC as well; however, if I told them I was going to a gathering/convention based on furries, I don't know how she'd react. The second I can drive...I'm going to all of the meets!

Last year was a lot of fun...and if I wern't going to be in school I'd definitly be there.

I hope all furs that end up going enjoy it, it really was a lot of fun.

Have a fantastic weekend adventure, guys! If it were in Cali, I'd make it for sure. Unfortunately, I won't be able to pull it off this time.

I_J it will be a weekend. I am now looking at July as it will offer a better chance for Furtopians to attend. Should have a date in a few days.
