Broken links on the main page?

The following links on the main page appear to be broken:

news furtopia/furry forum
furry "sketch-n-chat"
send furry e-cards
online MUCKing client
RPG furry dice roller Furtopia Radio Show
furtopia web-FTP
contest rules
Also the Artist Parade appears to be broken

In addition, the "Artists World" link is formatted incorrectly, and leads to a generic page. (like the domain has expired)

I'm pretty sure they've been broken for months. I've no idea if WS knows mind. I've PM'd him and Kada about this thread.

I'm also pretty sure the Radio doesn't exist anymore. If it does then it's never used to my knowledge.

Yes, WS is well aware of the main page and i did tell him about all of it long ago. I do not know when those will get fixed. WS has a lot of other responsibilities and other life issues to take care of besides Furtopia, you know. ;)

I think they have been down since the server switch.  I will remind him today though that it still needs looking at.

I have removed the links that are not working till we can figure out what is going on.

When I clicked on the Artists World link I got

I will have to ask WS if the domain has expired.  I hope not.  I know he pays those on a continuous basis.

And I noticed the dates last updated are from 2004!  6 years ago.  :(

Long story short after the last attack and the system switch the new system did give MUCH better security but did not take well to most of our old software and shows problems with ftp.  I have already come to the decision of switching to a new Linux platform that will serve our needs/software better.

I am testing some new systems now. This is to fix the most important core issues like hosting and ftp.  More than likely near the beginning of next month if not sooner I will take Furtopia hosting (I will leave the forums up and running during this time) down for 48 hours to do this changeover.  After the transition if things go well we plan on restoring the various peripheral Furtopia services secondary.

We have also been looking for a experienced Linux software developer who can help share the work on porting.  If you know someone respectful and helpful with these skills feel free to send them our way for review.
