Old School Isometric RPGs
« on: February 08, 2015, 05:56:40 pm »
In light of Spiderwebs Avernum II: Crystal Souls, as well as the pending release of Pillars of Eternity and  Torment: Tides of Numenera later this year. Is anyone else here a fan of old school isometric RPGs? Personally I can't get enough of them  :)

I really need to replay that again...with an idiot character. I love Troika! :D

So many unfinished adventures.

It all started with Fallout, but games like baldur's gate and Arcanum fell to the wayside in favout of strategy and FPS games.

That game was awesome. When I seen the thread title, I was going to mention Arcanum here 'cause it seems like it a game that was under appreciated when it came out.
