Hello. My name is Shams Mithra, or rather, my fursona is Shams.
My real name is much longer.
I am very new to being a furry and hope I will one day have a fursuit to represent myself.
I am new. However, I am very eager (and nervous) to step into the Furry Community.
I hear it is a very welcoming community and hope that you will have me. I am sure you are all wonderful people.
Hopefully, I will soon get to know all of you.

My name, Shams Mithra, comes from the neighbouring faiths of Akkadia and Persia/Media.
Shams, also called Shamash, is the Akkadian god of the Sun, known for having the head of a lion.
Mithra, also called Miça, is the Persian/Median god of the Sun, known ALSO for having the head of a lion.
So, my fursona is Shams Mithra. : )
