Tails for Tablet Troubles
« on: February 21, 2014, 05:27:59 pm »
Alright, so now, since my tablet seems to have crapped out, I’m going to try to get some money to get a new one.

I'm selling two tails that I made, a red fox and a raccoon.  Neither have been worn aside from indoors to test movement and appearance.  The raccoon is all ready to be sent off, and I’ll be making the fox ears soon.  Both will be priced at $40.

So a little info about them!

The fox tail is 27 inches long and about 14 inches around.  The raccoon is 22 inches long and 12 inches around.  They are both built off a pool noodle core for movement (no other stuffing inside) and have two elastic belt loops flat against the base for more realistic setting.  The belt loops connect through the pool noodle core for maximum security.  They are both entirely hand sewn.

The fur used is mm fox faux fur.  With the exception of the white tip, the fox tail is palomino fox dyed and drybrushed with acrylic paint for a vivid red and natural look.  The tan stripes of the raccoon have a subtle dye-job as well, but every stripe is hand-sewn in.  The fur has also been laid backwards for maximum floof.

The raccoon ears are made out of trimmed white and palomino fox with minor dry-brushing for detail, come on the hair band shown, and have craft foam for support.  The fox ears will be made out of black fur and on a similar hairband.
