Animation?

Does anyone know of some free easy to use animation software? I'm interested in making short fun animations. Thanks! :D

It’s not exactly what your looking for but you might want to give Blender 3D a try.

Even though it’s a 3D modeler you can still make 2D animations with it,

For example, you can make static drawings of characters divided into cells.
Like one object (one cell) for the torso and one for the head and so on.
So any part of the character that you want to move would be a different piece.
And you would animate a character by moving the pieces instead of redrawing the character each frame,
Which is similar to how flash works, Only you don’t have to pay a ridiculous amount of money to adobe,
Or learn actionscript which is pretty much useless outside of making flash animations and flash language games.
You can also use video textures to make the individual pieces of a character animated.
Let alone make full 3D models, that is, if you want to.

To get an idea of what I'm talking about,
Cell animation, or cardboard people as some call it,
Is similar to what’s in The Illusion of Me video, By Sub Level 03 (Check your speaker volume before clicking)
However I think they used maya 3D for the video,
But blender 3D can do the same.
