Well, I'm busy making my fursuit... since y'all probably don't know me, I'm an anthro gryphon.
My fursuit has been going nicely thus far... then I got to the wings. Rather then make my wings, I decided to buy them since I knew I would never be able to have the same "look" that I would get if I bought them. Plus I wouldn't know where to begin with making wings.
I decided that I'm not going to have wings as large as my character's (hers are just about her body length when folded) mainly because they would probably be near-impossible to move around in, but I still want the wings to be a nice length.
I've been running around both online and in my local store, and all of the wing models I've found were either too small, too expensive (I'm running on a college student's income), or were so unrealistic that they just looked ugly to me.
What I want to know is if anyone knows where I can find some decent wings... reasonably-priced... or at least some patterns so I can make the wings myself since that's probably what I'm going to have to do if I don't find anything that tickles my fancy.
And does anybody have some tips for hiding the wing harness?
