Do people have any good tail / fursute pattens ?

I have afew, does anyone want them posted here ?

I always just make my patterns as I go along... Good idea to have a template, I guess, if you're gonna be making multiple tails/suits.

Agreed.
I tend to draw templates for tails and paws before making them so I can what I plan to make.
I was woundering if anyone else did the same.. or could make some sergestions ?

Maybe if we put all our pattens etc, together we could help each other ?

hmm, yeah. I'd have to redraw some. I can easily recreate my Petit Charat cat ear beanie, and the three-clawed gloves and feet I made for my Charizard costume..

I haven't made any fursuits, yet, but will be making a template before doing any cutting.

I think sharing patterns would be great for those who want to use other ideas.

The only thing weird about my patterns is that I'm not sure how universal they'd be. I always make my stuff to custom fit me. I guess I could always write out how to measure.
..Hehe, that Charizard tail is a pain, though. It's SO heavy. Fun, though. When I walk, it wags along behind me. I went to a dance in it once, just so I could shake my thang and be a hazard on the dancefloor. Ya ain't seen nothing till ya seen folks leaping over your tree-trunk of a tail. =^_^=

(LOL) I can only imagine the sight!

That would be a good idea. Tell folks how to measure for themselve to customize the pattern to themselves.

Agreed, we would have to include were to, and how to, measure themselve to customize the pattern to fit themselves.

I will be scaning some of my tail pattens to post here.
