"Thank Goodness It's Friday. " A famous saying for most of us who put
in a hard week of work.
So what are you doing this weekend?
I hope to do some yard work and some antenna work for my radio hobby.
-
I work on Saturdays and have an electrician coming around to look at doing some more work on the house.
-
As for this weekend, nothing much. Finish watching Season 3 of Stargate SG-1. Picked up some James Bond movie collections to watch. Go grocery shopping. And prepare for an upcoming model contest in about a week's time.
-
Just some gaming.
-
Thank God it's Friday! :D :D :D

-
I watched the first two episodes of Fuller House today. Not sure if I will continue with it.
I'll probably just play the new Need for Speed game.
-
Saturday was my monthly science fiction book club at a local library. We read "Luna: New Moon" by Ian McDonald. Highly recommended.
Sunday I spent 4 hours outside of a large home-improvement store selling Girl Scout cookies. I'm the troop's cookie manager so I get to go to every site sale for 3 consecutive weekends.
-
Wish my brother a happy birthday. Work on my fursuit project.
-

-
I have more yard work. I always try to trim the bushes, hedge, and sprouts
before they start leafing out.
-
My usual routine of cooking, cleaning, bathtub laundry and a bit of college work! Looking forward to being done with the current batch of assignments so I can devote a little time to soldering together something interesting :3
-
Sunday night--Sacfurs furbowl!
-
A friend of mine is holding a steampunk costume and idea seminar next weekend. She does a lot of costume work for TV, movies and period reenactments. I'm thinking of making a weapon using a collection of found items. Turn a six inch squirt gun into a four foot steampunk circus themed riffle. Never done anything like this before. Don't know if I'll get it finished. But that would be ok. I could display it as 'thins is what it's made of'. A win for me either way. And a cool way to help a friend out.
-
Did something Friday I do not usually do, see a movie on opening night; I went to Zootopia with a few friends.
Saturday is our monthly mall meet Sunday erens before returning the rental car. I cash in on weekend rental specials.
-
Saw Zootopia in 2D on Saturday night. Tried to work on a fursuit project Sunday.
-
Monthly model club meeting tomorrow, then probably not do anything on Sunday.
-
I got the hedge trimmed.. But now I have to pick up the cuttings, and
limbs so I can mow the grass that will be growing all too soon.. :D
Almost forgot. It's the weekend to advance the clocks 1 hour here in the
USA.. I kind of wish they would just leave it one way or the other.. :P
-
Working, after which I intend to go to the train club.
-
Work on fursuit project. Photograph stuff for posting on Ebay. Try to clean up around the house. Church stuff.

-
Relaxing and working on a few model kits.
-
Fremont Furbowl on Saturday!! Several Sacfurs and I are driving to Fremont, CA, to meet up with some of the Bay Area Furs.
-
Visiting my mom and grandmother for Easter.
-
Probably gonna see Zootopia again with my sister.
Oh yeah. And play a lot of bass.
-
Well it's easter so I think I'll dress my wife up like a bunny and then do what bunnies do best. :D

-
I'm off work on weekends normally, and this weekend is no exception. Being Easter weekend my parents and my in laws are each having dinners so I will be going to those. We pretty much have a meal together each weekend anyhow but this should be a more elaborate meal than a typical weekend. I'll probably change oil in one of our cars as well haha.. Other than that stuff I'm sure I will end up playing 3DS or drawing, and probably be out running around a bit.
-
It's easter this sunday. :orbunny:
With the unsettled weather I may have to let the other rabbits
handle easter. :D Any way it's good to see warmer days even
though this winter wasn't really cold here in south Missouri. I
might go out and do a bit of yard work if it isn't raining or too
windy..
-
May do some yard cleanup. It's too soggy to do much of anything outside.
Monday--Load up on clearance sale Easter chocolate.
-
I am going to celebrate Easter with tons of chocolate and DIY bath bombs :D
-
Brunch with family over at my Mom's on Easter.
-
Spending Easter with my family.
-
I saw 10 Cloverfield Lane this weekend, and it was really great except for the ending.
I wasn't aware of the original movie (Cloverfield, 2008) so I was holding onto the hope that this one was trying to be realistic. It even seemed like it was going to end that way, because the whole movie was a fantastic psychological horror film, excluding the end.
If you have seen the original, you will probably like it, and my friend also hadn't seen it but he loved it.
I thought it was quite good overall.
-
I need to bag up more yard debris, but out of yard waste bags. Will try to finish up some fursuit projects.
-
All this warm weather is sure making my grass grow. I ought to get a dozen of my
rabbit friends to help me mow it. :D
Guess it's up to me though. So it's outside I go to work in the yard.
-
My lawn has been mown for the first time in a year, according to the chap who lives next door.
A few weeds have been pulled and the rose bush has had a prune, and I spoke to the neighbours on both sides, warning them of my intention to pull down a tree that takes up half the garden. They were all okay with it - It drops leaves and shadows their gardens too xD
-
I'll be doing work, mostly. I have meetings most of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday which should be fun. Plus I need to finish writing a module by Monday....
-

-
Hmmm, may just finish up on Dying Light. Need to take Faith to the vet, and.....yeah I guess that's it.
-
Hardly did anything this weekend, tried hard to relax. I had some notes to take in my history textbook. This week at school will be stressful.
-
It's been so windy, and cool I haven't felt like getting out much. Hopefully this weekend will
be different.. Oh well there is always another weekend. :D

-
The weather's been beautiful this weekend. My friend and I opened the windows and just spent all yesterday and today cleaning and doing some schoolwork, with some nice relaxation time in between.
I even cooked a little, which I hardly ever do. :) I hope to have more weekends like this.
-
Going to be felling a tree in my back garden today, if the weather holds out.
-
Maybe some target practice.
-
My whole weekend is already booked up..
My school is doing four productions of the musical "Anything Goes", and I am helping with the lights. I have to go to all four showings, one each day from Thursday to Sunday.
-
Hopefully gonna be seeing two movies this weekend: Green Room and Ratchet and Clank.
Green Room seems to be an interesting and intense thriller, hopefully it is good. Also, I've played the RaC games since I was a kid, so I'm optimistic about how the movie will be.
-
I run a science fiction book club at a local library branch, and Saturday is our monthly meeting (which reminds me...hurry up and finish the book!)
-
Visit my buddies up north before I got to Vermont
-
Nothing major this weekend I guess. Either shopping and/or working on a model kit.
-
faking all of my work for this semester. it should at least appear like i wasnt a lazy butt.
-
Tomorrow hopefully I'm going to the West Coast Haunters Convention but dad is being a butt about it *Eye role*
-
Attending a local gun/knife show, not so much to buy anything, but to see how overpriced everything pertaining to shooting has become. Lots of folks taking advantage of the firearms feeding frenzy of recent years.
-
It's been rainy so can't do much outside.
Might do some house cleaning. Perhaps not. :D
-
Attended a local furmeet today. Taking Mom out to breakfast tomorrow.
-
Biggest Little Fur Con!
-
Engineering final friday night. Working Saturday :p
-
My sister is returning from college this weekend, so we will probably see Civil War. Hopefully it's good.
Also, I have a history art project that requires us to pick a pice of literature and paint about it using one of the art styles from 1500-1940. Yay.
-
going to spend most of Sat at Gatewayfurmeet. Only be able to spend one day at the con. Looking foreword to it!
-
Going to a model contest on Saturday.........which I'm not very excited about. :P
-
I haven't decided yet. Probably do a bit of work around the house. I think
I may lay low today, listen to a audio book. being friday the 13th.. Oh my.... :orbunny:
-
I have to go with my girlfriend, and her mom to visit some of her family in Mobile. *Sighs* its going to suck >:(.
-
Gonna try to forge ahead on some projects.
-
Salon appointment and then a convention prep meeting tomorrow. Nothing planned for Sunday, but I hope to drag someone to see Zootopia. ;)
And other than that, I hope to do some drawing~
-
I have been moving some furniture about. Cuting up boxes, and throwing
away old junk.. I plan to clean up my hobby room this weekend. It's amazing
how much junk gathers when your not looking. :D
-
Participated in flag raising ceremonies at the local Cabela's Outpost. Treated later to a free lunch.
-
Taking my daughter to Fanime in San Jose on Friday and Saturday. Driving both days, not staying overnight. On Sunday I'm hoping to get together with a couple of other suiters and play retro Atari games. In fursuit, of course.
-
Hope to mow some grass this weekend, but it's been raining every day, and I don't
like mowing wet grass, but I may have too. Or call in all my rabbit cousins to eat it. :D
-
Not much this Memorial weekend. Maybe a bit of grocery shopping or go to the library for a bit, but other than that, not much else. Probably stay home and relax.
-
Visiting my cousins in Austin for my younger cousin's birthday. Bowling tomorrow, coming home Sunday. Getting a new mattress Monday, buying Zootopia Tuesday. Can't wait!
-
Rainy weather so I will be inside this weekend. Might put some chicken legs
in the oven to bake though. I have some bbq shake n bake to use. Then perhaps
some french fries in to bake with them. They go good together. :)

I went to Califur! It was a nice escape from a drama filled RL... x_x

I never have a set time to eat. I usually fix enough to last a week or two. :D
It's going to be hot this weekend so I think I will find a cool place in out of the
heat. :orbunny:

Monthly model club meeting tomorrow when we have our annual model kit auction.
-
Nothing at all.
-
taking the ACT
-
Fremont Furbowl. Fursuit bowling and hanging out with about 60 or so Bay Area furries. Fun times!
-
Will be staffing an informative display for my Civil Air Patrol squadron at a local antique aircraft fly-in on Sunday, with limited fursuiting.
-
This weekend I will probably be working on my Minecraft resource pack again while listening to music. I'll probably also watch some awesome anime (World Trigger) and play games such as Sterallis and World of Warships.
-
Monthly underground blues music meetup. Then taking my mom out to eat.
-
For us here in the U.S.A. it's the 4th of july weekend. Independance day. We like to make a
lot of noise, and watch displays of fireworks. Guess it all started with gunshots and anvil
shootings.
For those who haven't seen one. You set two anvils, one on top of each other with gun
powder between, and light it off with a loud bang. The top anvil flys high into the air.
Of course most people have fun going on outings to lakes and streams for boating and
camping. A way to get out of the rat race of the city to the rat race of the parks full of
fun loving people instead. :D
I plan to stay at home and listen to the pops and bangs around the neighborhood. Hope
you all have a nice holiday.

As for my real self, I don't have anything special planned for July 4th weekend. If I don't get my new smartphone tomorrow, I may go instead on Saturday. I usually stay home on the 4th and can watch the fireworks from my bedroom window which isn't that far away.
As for Kobuk, what is he up to?
*sets up Kobuk's Grilling Stand*
Hot Dogs! Hamburgers! Get 'em here!
*sets up menu*
Hot Dog $1.25
Hamburger $1.25
Cheeseburger $1.50
Bratwurst $1.75
Cold 20oz. soda (Only Mt. Dew & Pepsi products available) $1.25
Lemonade $1.25
-
Since this weekend is just a normal weekend for those of us not in the US :P I'm not doing anything out of the ordinary and see no reason to. Probably just chat to my friends and maybe think about a trip to London.
-
I will be at Westercon 69, the west coast regional Science Fiction convention in Portland Oregon over the Fourth of July Weekend.
-
With the hot weather, I plan to stay in where it's cool this weekend.
I am sure my fursona won't mind. :D :orbunny:
-
*rolls over*
Do I haavvvee to do anything?
-
With the hot weather, I plan to stay in where it's cool this weekend.
I am sure my fursona won't mind. :D :orbunny:
I am trying so hard to stay cool! It's so horrible here, and a brushfire just started nearby.... x_x
-
I'm going to a graduation party for my friend's sister on sunday. :)

I hope the fire was put out before it caused any serious damage. I hope you all get rain soon.
-
Yardsaling! If it wasn't for yerdsales, auctions, craigslist, Amazon and Ebay I wouldn't own much of anything.
-
Our furgroup's latest "Furries in the Forest" hike. More adventurous this time: the Pacific Crest Trail south from Donner Summit, California, about 3-4 miles each way. High altitude, 7000-7500 feet.
-
Unpacking from week-long CAP Summer Encampment. Went without pizza, chocolate, and ice cream for a whole week.
-
I will be at Westercon 69, the west coast regional Science Fiction convention in Portland Oregon over the Fourth of July Weekend.
Westercon is still around? Cool! I used to go to that annually but stopped a long time ago. I think the last one I went to was Western 42.
-
Since my parade gig was scrubbed, maybe I'll just go plinking.
-
Working ........ I have to work Sat. Sunday Ill be going to an auction. Don't know how long I'll stay.
-
Not much other than being glad it's a bit cooler this weekend.
80's and not 90's.. :orbunny:
-
Went to that auction today. Picked up 10 ceramic lighted Christmas village buildings for $7. Four of them where from an act of kindness from a stranger. She new I was after the buildings. Some of them were bunched together with something she wanted. After the auction was over she gave me the four buildings! That's to totally cool news. The bad news is the owner must have been a chain smoker. These buildings are a mess. Trying to clean them. The paint is coming off faster than the tar. They are sticky to the touch..... So now I'm going to strip these buildings down to bare ceramic. Then seal and repaint. I'll take pictures of each one so I can try to match the original colors. Right now they all have brown snow. Brown sticky snow. The tar is that thick.
-
Friday afternoon I have a parade gig in fursuit.
-
Saturday: Model club meeting tomorrow. Taking a recently completed model for "show and tell".
Sunday: Nothing much. Maybe some grocery shopping, then come home and relax.
-
Watching Stargate and playing some games on my laptop, the usual.
-
Staying in out of the rain and perhaps listen to an audio book. :orbunny:
-
Drying out stuff from fursuiting. Bought groceries. Told a bunny that it was naughty for eating some of my tomatoes.
-

Talk to Old Rabbit. Maybe he can lay down some discipline to that bunny that was eating the tomatoes. :D
-
Well was planing on doing a lot this weekend. Unfortunately someone my age and weight should NOT jump off the side of a 4 foot high truck bed. On to asphalt. Spending my weekend with my right foot on ice. Not sure if I'll make it into work tomorrow. So now I'm chilling out watching live vid feeds of No Man's Sky and catching up with a few things on line.
-
Didn't really do anything today as the weather was lousy. :P
Might go shopping tomorrow. Not sure.
-
Working at the factory as security. Coming home, drinking tea, roleplaying on a chat site.
-
Had to work this morning. Tomorrow I'll be going to my mom's.
-
college applications
also job applications
-

Talk to Old Rabbit. Maybe he can lay down some discipline to that bunny that was eating the tomatoes. :D
The bunny may have been driven by survival issues as it was very hot with no standing water to drink. The low-hanging tomatoes were like barrel cactus for him. That's a lot of work for a young rabbit. I set out a shallow pan of water. Like water, the rabbit takes the easiest path.
Recovering from hay fever issues--Ugh.
-
Planning to attend our local living history festival/encampment, possibly in fursuit, but likely not. The first white man to settle here was chased by wolves not far from the festival site. His "Indian dogs" helped him escape. Rocket could stand in for a wolf, and greet guests.
There is also a fur trader on site and one may buy pelts and tails of various critters.
-
The weeks sure do fly by. Here it is fall again. I was going
to work in my radio antenna, but there is rain predicted this
weekend. Guess I will putter around inside.
Putter Putter Putter. :D
-
I have to work Sat. But I'm thinking of going back to a Renaissance fair on Sun. Had a blast last there last Sunday.
-
Saturday - Shopping
Sunday - Stay home and get some chores done.
-
Attending local living history festival (Colonial period through WW2) Saturday. Maybe buy another tail from the fur trader. Buy some goodies from the police-run donut shop.
-
Friday evening is a community event at one of the colleges I work for. I will have fun teaching kids about dinosaurs! (:
-
Nothing particular planned for this weekend. :P
-
Did some vacuuming around the house. Cleaned, oiled, and started up the furnace. May drive to a friend's place to scout for deer tomorrow.
-
This coming Saturday: Model contest.
Sunday: Nothing
Monday (Halloween) : Not sure yet.
-
I work Tuesday-Saturday, but:
Friday: Host a Hocus Pocus viewing party at my work
Saturday: Skyrim
Sunday: Skyrim
Monday: Skyrim then go to a haunted barn Halloween party at an apparently really haunted farm. We'll see if I stare in my own live-action horror film next week!
-
Avoiding the rain :P I will probably hang around the apt in costume for kicks and giggles, but that's all...
-
What is this thing you call weekend? I've been out of school and work for so long that everyday is practically the same. I'll probably just be watching Stargate Atlantis and Brooklyn Nine Nine this weekend.
-
I only get one day a week off. Very short weekend. And that's not til Sunday. So I'll be working.
-
Friday and Saturday: working.
Sunday: laundry and Livestreaming on YouTube. Likely Alien: Isolation.
Monday/Samhain/Halloween: working.
-
On actual Halloween, I'm in the hospital. As a patient.
-
Sunday:Go to church after work. Go back home and probably play some games with my younger brother (probably COD zombies, Dragonball Z, or Empire Total War). Maybe watch some TV.
Monday: Always a continuation of Sunday because I live on an overnight schedule. Mostly just hang on the laptop and watch Youtube (YLYL, Gifs with Sound, Markiplier, anything else that looks interesting). I ordered some books earlier in the week, so I'll probably be doing some reading too.
Tuesday: Same as Monday mostly. Other activities include drawing, vainly clicking around Facebook and Deviantart, staving off my future goals. xD
For Halloween maybe I'll find a scary movie or two to watch by myself, while everyone else is sleeping. Hopefully it won't be as bad as when I tried playing Silent Hill PT for the first time... at night, by myself...
-
I am at Kumoricon, an anime convention in Portland. Oregon.
-
My hospital appointment has been pushed back. So relaxing this weekend.
-
I was asked to come out and fursuit for a Wreaths Across America fundraiser in the next county. Wished they'd give more than half day's notice.
-
One more day until I go to a really big model contest this weekend. I can hardly wait. :) I need a bit of relaxation from all the political election crap this week.
-
Most likely nothing. Going to be very cold and windy out on Sat. and Sun. with highs in the low or mid 30's during the day, and mid 20's at night. Probably stay home both days.
-
As I am sure everyone knows it's Thanksgiving weekend, and Black friday
for all of us looking for bargains.
I though will spend the weekend at home. My T day dinner will be a
Hungryman Turkey tv dinner, and I do have a big pumkin pie help expand
my waist. :D
All the best to our members, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend
with no bellyaches.. :orbunny:
-
Not doing any after Thanksgiving shopping this weekend. Haven't been feeling well and may have stomach flu. And secondly, I don't want to spend a bunch of money right now.
-
This is the official start of my Christmas decorating. I've got the two bookcases emptied. And most of the wooden ships packed away. All the framed art will have to come down. (18 in all. my house is almost entirely living room space ) Well all except for few. One a 1920s lithograph on wood of 'The Lord is my Shepherd'. Furniture will have to be moved. So I can get the lights and evergreen garland around the walls, windows and doorways. Then I can start moving boxes into the room. I have enough collected stuff to need packing lists on the outside of every box. :) I did this out of necessity. Some years ago it took me three hours to locate the tree topper. And I cant do anything with the tree till that's in place. And it takes up to ten hours to dec the tree. So that put me a day behind.
Before I can get started on the tree there's the large lighted Nativity that goes in the front yard. All the pieces are stored in the attic. They'll be brought down and kept in the living room till they go outside.
I used to take time off from work to get all this done. I still might. It's a lot for one person.
No way am I going to any black Friday things. Did it once. Makes you lose faith in humanity...... :D
-
It's December with highs around 50 degrees so I think I will stay inside this
weekend.
-
Working, as usual.
-
Sat. - Model club meeting and Christmas party/Gift exchange. :)
Sun. - Stay home.
-
I'm going to be mailing out Christmas cards :)
-
Still cleaning and decorating the house for Christmas.
-
Saturday - Working 10am to 1am Sunday morning.
Rest of Sunday - Sleeping, getting ready to go to work on Monday.
-
I am staying home alone away from the crowds and all the holiday traffic.
I have a turkey hungry man tv dinner for Christmas, No wrapping paper to
throw in the trash, or a tree to undecorate and put away.
I can spend the day thinking of how Christmas was many years ago. I think
most of us find memories of past happy times give us the warmest feelings
on holidays anyway.
I wish you all a very Merry Chrismas and holiday season. :orbunny:
-
In another hour I should be done with the main three. I'll decided then weather or not I'll put up the old silver one. Getting under the weather for five days really put me behind. I still have some cooking to do before tomorrow. And lots of cleaning. So this year's Christmas will be a bit of a rush. I'll be able to relax and enjoy all this next week :) I do plan on putting up a walk threw vid. Be after Christmas. Not going to do the 'this cost me this much' and 'this is worth that' I see a lot of people do. A bit vulgar in my eyes.
-
I spent the day with my family today, and will spend it with my mate's family tomorrow. Going to definitely enjoy opening the presents under the tree with everyone tomorrow! :) Hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday!
-
Sat. (New Year's Eve) - Absolutely nothing. I don't own a car nor can I drive due to bad eyesight, so I don't have to worry about being on the road with a bunch of other stupid crazy drunk people. ;) I'm going to stay home, have dinner, and watch a couple of movies.
Sun. (New Year's Day) - Buses don't run in my city, so I can't go anywhere, so I'll probably sleep in a bit, then make breakfast (Cinnamon french toast), then work on a few miscellaneous chores.
For those who are of legal drinking age and will be celebrating New Year's Eve, please stay safe and DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE! Your life and staying alive is more important than anything else. ;)
-
Staying home. Fixing one guitar that's developed a grounding problem. I'm also learning a song so I can help teach it to someone. Actually I'm really not learning the song. I'm figuring it out a few bars at a time. Writing it down it tab so he can learn it. I wont be able to play the song when I'm done. But more importantly he will.
-
Yesterday- Saturday I hung out with friends
Today- Sunday I'm doing nothing.
-
It's icy out today. Possibly even more on Saturday. I think I will
stay in. Don't want to squash my fluffy tail by falling on it. :D
Hope the weather is better for you.
Old Rabbit :orbunny:
-
Like Old Rabbit I'll be hiding indoors away from the ice. We may get up to 3/4 on an inch by the time it's over.
-
Sat. - Monthly model club meeting.
Sun. - Probably stay home.
-
Applying for jobs. Getting angry at my current situation. Channeling anger into action. Applying for more jobs.
-
Either work on rocket stuff, or informal target practice. Maybe put one of the East German pellet guns through it's paces.
-
I saw Rogue One with my mate today! :D
-
It's too cold to do much out. Would be nice to be furry like
my avatar. Of course then I might change my mind this
summer. :D
I do hope those who like football see their favorite team win the Superbowl.. I will
say this. The team owners will win a pot full of money no matter who wins. I really
don't care as I never was a fan of the game.
-
With what's left of the weekend, possibly get some work done. Or I may just watch some shows again :)
-
Had to work yesterday. Actually i didn't have to. My boss didn't tell me not to come in. Didn't have any real work to do. So i helped others get their jobs done. Nice change of pace. Today I'm glued to the TV! ITS SUPERBOWL SUNDAY! It's kind of like the last day of a furry con. Your hoping it'll be a great time. But sad because you know it's about to end. Then it'll be a wile before you get to do this again.
-
I made brownies and bought lots of snacks for the Super Bowl. Looking forward to the Halftime Show, as always. :P
-
Cleaned up my apartment a little bit, and also looked for some paperwork I needed for my second tax appointment.
I made brownies and bought lots of snacks for the Super Bowl.
*begs* :goldthpt:
-
Model club meeting on Sat.
Probably not doing anything on Sun.
-
Continuing with the cleaning. This is something I started two weeks ago. I'm a collector of projects. "I can do something with that". "I think I can fix that". "I'll use that". Yep. Twenty years of project. What I can't recycle goes into trash. So far in two weeks that's accumulated into 17 bags of trash and 21 bags of cardboard/paper and plastics. Plus theres a few boxes of stuff getting donated. This is just out of my basement. When the weather gets warmer I'll be tackling the garage. Or in this case, digging into the garage... :D
-
Working 6am-1pm both Saturday and Sunday.
And I have a family member coming over Sunday, so we'll see how that goes.

It's supposed to be a warm and spring like this weekend. So I plan
to get out and do some walking. Gotta loosen up these old joints of
mine. :D
-
I bet several gardens have been started in my area. The weekend
has 70 F temps in the forcast. I can't see well enough to make a
garden, but I am thinking it's still too early. Even though people
try anyway.
I probably won't be out much other than doing some walking for
exercise. I hope you all have a nice weekend. :orbunny:
-
May do some projects around home on Saturday.
Gun club meeting and banquet on Sunday.
-
Hopefully on Saturday I'll be hanging out with my friends and on Sunday my little sister and I are going to celebrate her birthday.
-
Sat. - Going to a model contest.
Sun. - Not sure yet. Might stay home.
-
Nothing this weekend I guess. Probably just stay home and relax.
-
I was supposed to work. But that got canceled. Not complaining. :) Going to rain tomorrow so I'll clean up around the house and do some more watercolor paining. If it's dry enough Sunday I'll mow.
-
Visiting my parents' house...it's my dad's birthday tomorrow (yes, on Earth Day). Supporting my colleagues in the March for Science in a virtual sense. Hoping it won't be too hot tomorrow... :'(
-
I plan on getting the forklift out and move this pile of homework towards completion.
-
Shakes off the rain. I am staying in except to check
my snail mail this weekend.. A friend of mine mowed
my yard the other day so I don't have to worry about
that.
It's even kind of cold out. In the 40's .. Supposed to be
warmer sunday here in the Ozarks.
-
Marching in a local parade Friday afternoon in fursuit. Maybe get some fried walleye takeout.
-
Attended a local gun/knife show, a charity fundraiser Mexican dinner, now off to see Guardians of The Galaxy 2.
-
Model contest tomorrow.
Probably stay home on Sunday.
-
FINALS!!! :o :o :o :o :D :P x_x
Seriously, I have an electrical Engineering exam tomorrow morning, and then English thirty minutes later.
-
Waiting for great news on your finals Varg!
If Friday is the star of the weekend I've spent part of mine watching a movie. So am I the only firry who waited this long to see Zootopia? I usually despise disney. However this movie was a pleasant change from their usual plot format. I'm going to spend the rest of the weekend trying new things with watercolor painting. I've learned that this medium is 50% skill, 50% physics. I can see why it's called the hardest of the three paints to learn. But you can do things with watercolor that's impossible to do with oil or acrylics. Like ruin a painting with a single brush stroke. :D
-
A whole neighborhood just a mile away is having rummage sales this morning. So I'm checkng it out. Taking Mom out for breakfast tomorrow. Then maybe launch some rockets or go target shooting.
-
The airport in my city which is only about 1-2 miles from me is having a special event with static display as well as flyovers of WWII aircraft this coming weekend. I might go to it if I have the money.
-
Working! Hurray for job satisfaction and income! :D
-
Local comic-con :D
-
This coming weekend:
Saturday - The model club I belong to will be holding it's yearly model kit auction.
Sunday - Nothing I guess. :(
-
It's Free Fishing Weekend here in Michigan, but I have a request appearance in fursuit at a Fly-In in the next county on Saturday.
Sunday, I may try to go fishing, or just do stuff in my basement as it's supposed to hit 90. Maybe apply color coat to a model rocket just completed.
-
Ahh the lazy hazy days of summer. This bunny is staying inside out of
the heat. :D Yard is mowed so no reason to get a tan.. :orbunny:
-
Been spending the majority of Labor Day weekend just relaxing and staying home. Buses don't run today, so can't go anywhere. Plus, I'm broke. $ :(
Anyway, spent some quality time and finished this on Saturday earlier:
https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4355/36986969475_f5b6e31c41_b.jpg
And am now currently trying to work on and finish this before this coming Saturday.

-
Next semester starts tomorrow. I've been trying to get my apartment set up and relax at the same time before the marathon starts for another 15 weeks. 300 level classes! Woohoo! Oh crap...
-
Binge watching Netflix and hanging out with friends.
-
Grading a sea of papers. Woo! /sarcasm
-
Gonna be in fursuit at the famous Octagon Barn Festival on Saturday.
-
Probably watching the hurricane news. My prayers go out to all
those affected.
-
My heart goes out to those effected by both hurricanes. But i have no heart for those dumb enough to try to ride them out.
I have to redo the pants I made for a steampunk outfit. They came apart on me. So it's beck to the drawing board. I've learned new things from people who have done this for a long time. This new garment will be as strong as a pair of jeans. Should last for years.
-
On a more brighter note, I attending Rose City Comic Con this weekend.
-
I'll be shopping for a new washing machine tomorrow. Mine just kicked the bucket. Lasted for 20+ years. Can't complain. Hope the new one lasts as long.
-

Hard to say about washing machines. I got a Maytag in 1994, and the
transmission went out after 8 years. The Kenmore I got to replace it
has lasted about 15 years so far. Good luck with your new one.
I washed clothes on wensday so I can enjoy the nice weather for
the weekend. :orbunny:
-
I plan on doing homework (Material Properties), followed by more homework(Thermo), then I might do some more homework(Statistics), and cap it all off with a lab write-up :p That piled up quickly.
I'm hopeful about getting sometime to write in, and if the weather is nice I'd like to go for a wander. I've been missing my long walks.
-
Going to my first furmeet. I've been to a few conventions but this will be my first meet. Going to be held in a park in ST Louis. Really looking forward to seeing fellow furies again.
Still reworking my steampunk outfit. It took 12+ hours to sew together the 30 x 76 inch striped material. Went threw a spool and a half of white thread. Now i have to lay out my patterns and cut them out. Sew them together. Sew them onto the top of a pair of jeans. I cut out the belt and pockets so there will be pockets in these pants. Then I'll have a hopefully very sturdy pair of clown pants. Going to a con in a few weeks. Really hoping this pair of pants wont rip apart on me wile I'm dancing threw the halls as 'Third Clown from the Left'. Going to sew on a few more stripes on the shirt. And add to the width of the cummerbund. Also working on some steampunk gauges and things to go down the front of the shirt. Will add some velcro to keep the mantle and cape better in place. The mantle kept turning sideways on me. If I have time I'll finally make some spats for my boots. Lots to do with only a few hours a day to work on it.
-
Got a busy weekend ahead. Son has soccer games both Saturday and Sunday, also have have to bleed the brakes and put 2 new tires on my Mustang then hopefully gonna stretch her legs a little. An also try to get some writing done too.
-
Possibly some grocery or other retail shopping tomorrow. Then maybe stay home and relax on Sunday and build another model kit or do other chores around the apt.
-
Watching Markiplier.
-
Living history encampment at a local park this weekend. Colonial period through Vietnam War. Gonna be a hot one too.
-
Just relaxing today and taking it easy. Watch some tv and work on a model kit.
-
I drew some pics and added a short story to the list here...delayed grading but I needed a break. x_x
-
Homework :P
Did a little bit of writing, but mostly homework.
-
Right now packing the convertible for the trip to New Jersey. Taking my oldest son the the Rock Allegiance festival.
-
Moar homework! :p
-
Need to return some DVD movies to the library tomorrow. Probably spend some time there and browse around for a bit. Maybe do some research.
As for Sunday, not much. Stay home and relax. Fix pancakes for breakfast. Watch the Packers football game.
-
Worked on a few model rockets. Handloaded some ammo for a friend. Posted some
junk costume items on Ebay. Updated my anti-malware/spyware program.
Sunday will be my tenth anniversary as Rocket T. Coyote as he appears for another parade march in Michigan's thumb area. He is often the only mascot who walks the entire parade route. Fun Fact--He must cross RR tracks early on in the parade.
-
I'll be off to a 3 day model show in Chicago starting tomorrow. :) Yay!
-
Rain in forecast Saturday. So probably going to work on a few projects indoors.
-
Three problem sets, a lab write-up, and a paper. Maybe some range time, but we'll see.
-
Stuck at work for Drill. Plus side, firing an M4 rifle for training.
-
Headed off to my favorite place, the Natural History Museum, tomorrow for an all day, all campus field trip. :D

Stress-strain analysis of a rod and calculating the drag (and money spent on fuel) for a semi with a box trailer in various configurations... then more homework.
-
Participating in Veteran's Day event in a nearby town.
-
Taekwondo seminar this evening and tommorow :)
Looking forward to it, will learn lots and get some good exercise in!
-
Material Properties test today, also celebrating the Marine Corp's 242nd birthday. The rest of the weekend will be spend on homework. I'm really looking forward to the end of this semester.
-
Going to a wedding.
-
Going to a model contest in Chicago tomorrow.
As for Sunday, probably stay home.
-
Was going to help sight in rifles and shotguns for local hunters at the local sportsman's club range on Sunday. Supposed to be rainy/snowy tomorrow, so maybe not.
-
Start decorating for Christmas. Early? Not with the amount i end up putting up each year. I'm moving a 4x6 foot village display to a different spot in the living room. Looks like I might have to build a platform to put some of this on. Got to get the evergreen garland and lights up before I can even start on that. And before I do that I have to pack up and store the displayed stuff in the room. Yep. It's a lot of work. But I wouldn't have it any other way.
-
Driving from NC to VA then VA to MA loading a truck with friends possessions then driving said truck to VA then driving home to NC
FUN TIMES!
-
Thanksgiving with my mom and grandmother the next two days. Not sure what I am doing on Sat. and Sun.
-
I'm looking forward to another furry meet at a local park, celebrating Thanksgiving with friends. I'm also getting a few furry themed items in preparation for FurCon2018!
(:
-
Saturday - Model club meeting and Xmas holiday party.
Sunday - Stay home.
-
I've submitted both pieces of coursework that were due this month, so for once I actually have a free weekend! \o/
So far it's been lazing around and eating yesterday's pizza :P I've got a Shadowrun game tommorow, and right now I'm contemplating re-installing KSP.
Hope everyone's having a good weekend too! :D
-
Put up more Christmas decorations. Load some cast bullets. Possibly some target practice. Mail out a few Christmas cards.
-
Absolutely nothing this weekend as it's too cold to go anywhere due to freezing temps and below zero wind chills. x_x
Just stay home for New Year's, enjoy some hot meals, snacks, plenty of hot chocolate, and binge watch some Dr. Who episodes.
-
Getting ready to go to an auction. Going for two reasons. First this is an new auction company. I want to see how they do business. There are things I look for when going to an auction held by a company I'm not familiar with. As is, Where is and How is. Meaning we don't know if it works and your buying it without any guarantee. This is the normal order of business when things are auctioned off. In all fairness the company doesn't have time to plug in and check everything. Some auctioneers will say. "We were told it works. If you take it home and it doesn't? Bring it back and we'll refund." This is also the norm. I have no problem with either. In truth I've been burned more times by buying stuff at resale shops than at auctions. What they charge. You bid $10. You pay $10 at the desk. You bid $10. You pay $10 plus tax at the desk. I like and will do business with both. Depending on state laws where you live an auction can go either way. Buyer's fee? NO. I refuse to do business with an auctioneer company who is going to charge me extra for a winning bid. Then there is the big no no for me. I've actually had this happen. An item went up for biding. I raised my card ( has my name and auction number on it ) and placed a bid. I was the only one who bid on that item. The auctioneer starts to add more items to this bidding. Stopped adding when he got a higher bid. I walked out of the auction. Never went to another auction held by that company. I'm happy to say that particular auction company is now out of business. You can't treat people that way and expect them to come back.
The other reason I'm going is they have one item I'm interested in. I've already researched the item and set a price for myself. If it goes above what i'm willing to pay someone else can have it. I have seen items sell at retail or even above. They could have gone to Walmarts. Bought the exact same item in a box with a guarantee and paid the same price. More money than wisdom. : ) Win or not either way I'm looking forward to having fun. And who knows. They can't put pictures up of every thing they have for bid. Might find something else I can't live without.
So just incase your not board yet I'l tell you another auction story. I started a bid on an item and someone else bid. We traded bids back and forth till the other person stopped. I got the item well under the price I set for myself and was happy I won. After the auction was over I went to pay for the stuff I bought. They held that particular item card back. They told me "Your only going to pay your opening bid on this item. Not the higher winning bid." Apparently they have had problems with the person bidding against me. So I got the item cheaper and learned they value me as a costumer more than what I would have paid. I left very happy with them.
-
Update on the auction. Really liked the way they do business. Was easy to hear and follow what was going on at all times. Why I left early? This was a tool auction with high quality equipment and tools being auctioned off. And a room full of people with lots more money than I had to spend. : ) Things were not going cheap enough for me to afford. Good news is I'll be back. i liked what I saw.
-
Writing a new story for class :)
Taking a break to make chocolate chip oatmeal cookies.
-
Went picking at Goodwill--found a few items.
Working on papercraft Skylab and Saturn Ib.
Planning to make brownies tomorrow afternoon. Also beef burritos.
-
My 20 year old dishwasher died, so will be looking for a new one
this weekend.
-
My two day weekend has been turned into a three day. Work is really slow so they told everyone to stay home. I have around six weeks of vacation saved up. All this one day here and a half day there is chiseling away at it. Today I plan on spending most of it cleaning around the house. Tomorrow my mom is taking me out for my birthday. That was last weekend but I was under the weather. Plan on making bread. Going to use a new technique called 'autolyse'. Ya, whoda thought there would be so many different ways you could make the very same loaf of bread. :D
-
Nose is back to the grindstone :P Homework homework.
-
Making bread and watching the Superbowl. Really hope the Eagles win. Or at least it's not a one sided game.
-
Nothing.
-
Ya, like a robotic phone call. The same thing over and over and :D I'll be trying another bread making experiment and making some bread I know will be good to eat. I also plan on starting a few craft projects. Making some copies of a few antiques. And tossing stuff together that will look like it's from the late 1800 to early 1900's.
-
Three problem sets, two lab write-ups, and a project proposal.
-
Getting new tires for the Mercedes, been needing them for awhile.
-
Recovering from a local all-you-can-eat fish fry.
Checking in on the local radio net tonight.
May go picking in Saginaw tomorrow.
-
MOAR homework!!!
Seriously, this 10 hours/day, 7 days a week thing is getting old. I decided to go back to school exactly so I wouldn't have to do this sort of thing.
-
Enjoying the warmer weather. It's times likely this I wish I could
see well enough to do yard work and to enjoy the start of spring.
It's just a wish, because when I could see well enough I got tired
of doing the yard work pretty darn quick. :D
-
Reflecting on the fact that it'll be one year since Nacho was put to sleep.
-
With snow in the forecast I think I am going to stay home. This
weekend is going to be rough on the fruit growers and early
gardens. I am going to keep my lettuce out of the cold. :orbunny:
-
If things stay the same I'll be working tomorrow. Then making bread and enjoying the rest of my time off. Six months of making home made bread. Still loving every minute of it.
-
Model club meeting on Saturday.
Relax and stay home on Sunday.
-
Spring has sprung along with the little multi-legged beasties. (:
So it's out with the bug spray.
I think I will just stay inside this weekend.
-
Project and two papers to do. If I get through that I might try and do some late homework. I'm dubious I'll get that far though.
-
Yard work! I have 75 feet of miscathus grass. Usually i cut it down and burn it in place. Because I live in a town full of dumb rednecks they had to make this illegal. To many stupid people were burning their or their neighbors house down. So now I have to find someway to get rid of all this grass. Was thinking of mulching it, composting it or even cutting it up then lay it back over the plant bases. Let the grass grow through it. Next year I'll cut it off about three foot tall. Then the let new grass grow up through this. I know that works. I plan on extending this line of grass. Probably another 50 feet. I really like the look. May even take it to the other side of my back yard. Make myself a living fence all around my back yard.
I know if I compost it it will stick. Smell like cow poop.
-
Got a new cross stitch project going, adding the final touches to a couple of older ones, and then taking Dany outside in the garden to bask. It's warming up here again, so she can go on her little harness and trot about outside.
-
the semester is finally over so i plan on drawing A LOT. (that is until my summer classes start...)
-
I will walk the dog, and enjoy the time we have together.
Then start looking for a less stressful job...time for a change I think.
-
Thermodynamics Final Exam Saturday at 9am! Woo!
After that it'll be studying for my Statistics and two machine finals. Oh boy.
-
Going to a furmeet in the next county on Saturday. Hoping for a good turnout, and good weather.
-
3 day model contest starting tomorrow and ending Sunday. Woohoo! :D
-
Might go off-roading if weather permits.
Else might do some Ham radio if feel like it.
-
Drowning in paperwork as the semester ends! I can finally get back to my stories--including the ones here! :-[ :D
-
Doing some story writing, and catching up on reading people's work. Plan on running errands, too, changing the spark plugs in my truck and going to the memorial service Monday.
-
Nothing. Going to be a boring Memorial weekend. No money to buy anything, and buses don't run tomorrow to travel anyplace.
-
Well I started one guitar. But some of it's parts are on back order. No idea when they'll get here. So I'll start on one I have the parts for. Disclaimer. I just make the bodies and put things together. Not craftsman enough to make a decent fretboard. One off cut out of 23 and it's no good. I buy my necks.
Fun fact about guitars. A guitar will never truly be in tune. It's imposable for a strait line to get each note perfect when each string is tuned to a different note. The frets would have to be in curves or broken up into separate pieces. But the guitar is in tune enough and we have all accepted the way they sound. Acoustic or 'box' guitars are even further out of tune. Because of their traditional one piece bridge. We've all grown up expecting a box guitar to sound like that.
-
It's June and the weather is getting hot. Guess I will stay
inside where it's cool. :orbunny:
-
I will be working on a commission for an online friend and I will visit the Natural History Museum. :3
-
Trying to stay out of the heat.
-
Trying to stay out of the heat.
Tell me about it. I checked today and it was up to 40 degrees C! Texas summer is just anus.
-
Model club meeting this coming Saturday. No plans for Sunday.
-
Furmeet in the next county. Was to be a beach event but the lake is closed due to high bacteria count. So just a cookout.
-
Going to my mom's to discuss arrangements for her to move in with me. Unfortunately this means my brother, who hasn't had a job in the lat 25 years will be coming along. My mom I can understand. She's running out of money and can no longer afford to live in her condo. My brother is a mooch and i'm not cool with that. Will see what happens. I've lived by myself for 15+ years now. This is going to be interesting at best. Guess I'll have to learn to put cloths on when I walk through my house : )
-
Model contest on Saturday. Probably stay home on Sunday.
-
Catching up on late homework. :P
-
Listened for gunfire and watched scrawny venison samples from a drafty dilapitated shelter.
-
Built a crude 1-axis fluxgate magnetometer coil...It can easily see the earths static magnetic field.
Now to make 2 more and put them 90 degrees to each other so I can make a 3D vector.
Why? To see if I could.
-
Was invited to attend a retirement breakfast for my state senator, but it's $20 and a thirty-plus-mile drive one-way. I've also been invited to a surprise birthday party later that evening in the same town--and it's for the individual who wanted me to come out to the first event.
-
Staying in out of the cold weather. :D
Seems the holidays come around quicker every year. I guess
most of our college friends are starting their holiday vacation.
I hope all our members have a great holiday season.
-
Just staying out of the rain and trying to finish up a few projects.
-
Finishing writing a 3 page letter in Gothic Script using a calligraphy pen and rust colored ink on art paper. Sealed in an envelope with green and gold wax seals. Thought I would try a very old fashioned method of communication. Hope the recipient appreciates the fact it took me 2 hours to write it down. I am still practicing. Hope they don't laugh to hard too.
Maybe I should mail it via dog-sled team? Or have Dracula himself fly it there at night. Oh well, USPS here I come.
-
Decorating for Christmas. I have a huge collection of old Santa and Christmas stuff to display. I try to do something different each year. Last year i put up a Christmas village that took up WAY to much room. This year I'm cutting that down to no more than a seven by three foot space. Because i broke a toe a few weeks ago I'm not able to climb up and down a latter so most of the fake greenery will stay in boxes this year. One thing I'm not looking forward to seeing. Last year, wile caring two boxes of shaped ornaments down stairs I lost my balance and both boxes tumbled. Boxes are very heavy cardboard and each ornament is wrapped. But I already know I've lost a few that will be extremely hard to find. Been collecting glass shapes for well over 30 years now. Not the first time I've had an ornament disaster. Had a tree fall over one year. The plastic stand broke. Live and learn. I have a heavy duty metal stand with a wide base now. So I'll count my losses and continue to look for more to replace and enjoy.
-
Being ill, role-playing and proof-reading (:
-
We had a nice turnout at the cemetery in Michigan's Thumb region for Wreaths Across America today. The event is sponsored by veterans' groups. I took photos of the CAP color guard and other activities. A local TV news photographer rolled in just as things were wrapping up. He came directly to me as I was the only adult in uniform. Good thing too as I am the public affairs officer for the local CAP squadron. So I arranged to have the unit commander interviewed and to have a cadet re-enact a wreath-laying for the news story.
-
Christmas decorating. Everyone comes over here for the holidays. Do my best to impress.
-
Trying to finish this Project/Final exam for my thermodynamics class. I'm going to be glad when this is over. :P
-
Today: Relaxing and working on a model kit.
Sunday: Probably same as above. I have zero interest in watching Sunday football. >:(
Monday (Christmas Eve) - At my mom's house for dinner and presents. Stay overnight.
Tuesday (Christmas Day) - Head back home from being with my mom and just relax I guess.
-
Decorations are done. Now I bake and cook and bake and cook and cook and.. . Lot's to do. Christmas dinner will be Lasagne, garlic rosemary roasted potatoes, Italian vegges with almonds and oregano, home made garlic bread stand alone French apple tart and lots and lots of cookies. Brother's bringing the pies and more food. It's not about the gifts. it's about the spread and company.
-
Need to go out for a couple of last minute gifts. All of the stuff that needs to be baked/cooked has already been bought. Then some relaxing time. I'm with you, Kobuk. No interest in watching Sunday football.
Christmas Eve....cook some of the things that need to be cooked. Out with friends for dinner.
Christmas Day...go to friends house for dinner/presents. Play with all of their dogs. Come back and relax.

Hey Rat!
Dinner sounds yummy! :) Quite the spread!
-
Thanks FarFar. dinner was awesome! And i have enough left over ingredients left over to make another lasagne!
I've learned how to install plugins in my DAW ( digital audio workstation ). Now I'm making a list of what each one does. Some of them have names that are self explanatory. Like 'TAL Reverb II'. Others with names like 'Headcrusher' and 'MJUCjr' need a bit of explaining. :) These programs are night and day better than what Logic Pro X came with. I've remastered a song i did recently with the new stuff. So much nicer.
A bit of explaining for those who have no clue what I just said. A DAW is a computer based music mixing program. Logic Pro X is the name of the program I use. Plugins are programs that help make a recording sound better. Like equalizers and echo effects.
-
Got done working today. Relaxing for tonight.
-
Party with the siblings and our other halfs but I had no one to cuddle :'(
-
Taking care of my neighbors dogs while they are away. *wonder how they would react if I showed up in fursuit....*
-
Taking care of my neighbors dogs while they are away. *wonder how they would react if I showed up in fursuit....*
I know my dog would rock my world, and not in a good way.
Catch-up homework, and probably some writing and/or prepping another chapter to post on SoFurry.
-

I know my dog would rock my world, and not in a good way.
I'm not sure how they would react. They are a pack of huskies so maybe I should bring Kobuk along! :goldlaugh:
Catch-up homework, and probably some writing and/or prepping another chapter to post on SoFurry.
I have a replace a light bulb that burned out.

Digging out from the snow storm. It's still snowing now. Been snowing for a good 24 hours straight. And making bread. I made a starter yesterday. Yeast, 1 cup of water and two cups of flour. It's to wet to be a biga and to dry to be a pollish. Kind a an in between. Right now it has a sweet wine smell to it. Perfect for some really good tasting home made bread.

Ok, that sounds really yummy! The bread not the snow....THAT does not sound like fun.

Yesterday - Went to my local model club meeting.
Today - Just spending a lazy day working on a model kit and maybe watch some movies.
-
Spent a lazy day working on some artwork and hiking the trails.
-
Going to be bitter cold this weekend. Plan on staying home, watching some movies, staying warm, drinking hot chocolate, work on a model kit, etc.
-
Lots of snow and bitter cold this weekend. Will be moving around tons of snow while freezing in subzero wind chills. When I'm not doing that, will be watching movies and drinking hot chocolate, coffee, tea, etc. No traveling this weekend if I can avoid it.
-
Just chilling at home
-
Depending on road conditions, may go scrounging at the Goodwill in the next town Saturday. Gun/knife show coming to town Sunday. May prowl there for collectibles and milsurp. That Stan & Ollie movie looks tempting as well.

Going to my model club meeting today.
Stay home tomorrow and get my tax paperwork ready for my appointment next week.

Well I was at Gateway Furmeet in St Louis MO. Got there around 6 Thursday. Got my preredg badge and stuff. Around 1:30 in the morning I twisted my back. By 6:00 Friday morning I was back at home. More than a bit disappointed but nothing I can do about it. So right now I'm suffering from NCD. No con depression. :) Keep telling myself I saved over $500 and can now afford that new table saw. But I'd rather have the memories.

That stinks! >:( Sorry to hear about that. You have the right attitude about it regarding "it is what it is." Hope you feel better soon.
-

I think I will be enjoying the first weekend of spring. Even though it's
suppose to rain. LOL. Thats better than Ice or snow. :orbunny:
-
May go to Harbor Freight and buy an electric pole chainsaw. Then trim back my red maple, but it might be more practical to rent one. Sap dripping here and there now and there's no pancakes or waffles about.

I had one of those. Good for small branches. The chain gets jammed real easy in anything big or anything with a tight grain. Not saying do/don't get one, just be aware. That was my experience at least.
BUT...it sure was FUN to swordplay with it!!! 8)
-
Working on Saturday and then on Sunday having a first birthday party for my little one.

Invited to attend a friend's retirement party on Sunday. Held in the same hall as my parents' wedding reception.

Slowly melt due to the heat and humidity.

-
Civil Air Patrol National Conference this weekend in Baltimore. Not attending, but nominated for several categories in public affairs. So far, I've earned three consecutive awards. All of them a result of my fursuit mascot work.

-
Cleaned myself up to look as good as I can, then took semi-professional photos of myself.
Updating my resume, and online profile on Indeed.com including photo and summary/status.
Then searching my own self using google to screen for any potential issues for prospective employers (i.e. bad background... shouldn't have any issues)
Then use google analytics (somehow) to see if my resume is any good for the kind of jobs I am trying to get. (i.e. keyword matching)
Still searching for jobs and will apply to 2 today.
Trying to still get over the loss of my beloved dog Heidi. :( :(
And still trying to recover from ConCrud 2.0. This thing is kicking me. And now others near me have it too.
-
Heading to library tomorrow. Probably nothing on Sunday as it's supposed to rain.
-
Going to local animal shelter tomorrow for orientation and some volunteer training.
Not sure how this will go. I miss my dog so bad still I'm afraid I'll break down blubbering like an idiot.
-
Attended Michigan Renaissance Festival as my fox character, Tadeusz. A big hit with the kiddies. May have been photographed by their official photographer a few times. Asked "What does the Fox say?" over a dozen times!

May hit up a professional unemployment advisor or something.
-
Working and preparing for court next week

Head to library tomorrow and return some books.
Head to library again on Sat. and return more books that are due.
For Sunday, maybe nothing and just relax.
I have so many library books checked out that are due this Sat., that I have to use two days to return them all. :-[
-
Need to clean my .22s from target practice. Cheese puffs make great biodegradable targets for BB/pellet guns too.
-
Hopefully by this upcoming weekend I will know more about my potential job situations and maybe have a plan.
If that is the case, I will maybe taking it easy and resting.
Else... it is back to resumes and such.
:P
-
Head to the library tomorrow and spend some quality time there.
Not sure what I'll do on Sunday.
Buses don't run on Labor Day, so most likely stay home and be lazy.
-
Working off and on all weekend and Monday. Hope to do some things with the dogs and work on my writing/art. Probably be lazy some of the time.
-
Going out to Blythe the forecast looks really hot 112F and 85-90F at night. Luckily the Colorado River isn’t far from where we’re camping.
-
Relaxing my stretched legs and back. I over did it, when doing car work.
-
Went to my mom's today. Spent some time with her and my brother. Do a lot of guitar playing. Some very needed yard work. Still working on what and how to put together that youtube cigar box guitar teaching channel.
-
Mom's birthday yesterday, church, dinner at Uno's, cake later. She didn't win anything on the skritch-off, but appreciated the Taco Bell gift card. May do some informal target practice and/or launch model rockets if the weather holds. Working tomorrow, but it'll be a quiet low-stress day...unless there's a water main break.
-
Macs are horrible at hiding things. Just emptied both caches. Why two? And why are they both hidden? No clue. Now I'm emptying all 16000+ un needed files out of my computer. Would really like to know how to permanently delete cookies. Mac has a window dressing program. You go in. delete all the unwanted cookies. Turn your computer off. Back on and WALA. Most of those cookies are back!
-
Civil Air Patrol National Conference this weekend in Baltimore. Not attending, but nominated for several categories in public affairs. So far, I've earned three consecutive awards. All of them a result of my fursuit mascot work.
Congratulations on the awards. I am sure it shows long hours of hard work,
and attention to details.
As usual I am spending the weekend at home. Here it is
September, and soon the weather will be getting colder. I
kind of enjoy the fall. Especially if the summer was hot.
-
Thank You Old Rabbit!
My transdogrified self has been invited to appear at Fall Family Days in Gagetown, Michigan--the site of the Thumb Octagon Barn. My crew carries out flag-raising ceremonies in front of this historic landmark each year. Always fun and a lot to see and do--no admission fee. Rocket wanders about the event with his handlers for an hour or two. My hosts usually by me lunch or dinner.
-
Recovering from the festival appearance. May head out for some informal target practice.
-
Still playing and working on my song set. Inspired by an old Steve Martin quote, "Be so good they can't ignore you."
-
Not much this weekend. Just relax and be lazy. Or go to the library.
-
Hanging out with friends because I don’t have work Friday or Saturday.
-
Volunteering at an event. Both days.

Not sure what I'll do on Sunday.
-
May go bike riding and/or work on some projects at home. Like brushing out my fursuit.
-
I'm the opening act at this years annual Cigar Box Festival at Kimmswick MO.
-
Nothing on Sat. or Sun. Don't have the money to do anything or go anywhere. :(
-
Living history encampment this weekend, but may be too rainy to do any fursuiting. Shouldn't go feral at public events anyway.
-
I hope to just stop stressing out about work stuff. I hope to do more dog training lessons and then walk a dog or two on sarurday. Then sunday... idk, maybe just read?
-
Chilling at home got a pay raise and moved up at work so I’m in high spirits right now :).
-
Helping old coworkers get stuff done...then maybe doing some semi-public fursuiting.
-
Work, sleep, and taking a drive down some backroads to unwind.
-
Brushed out my fursuit for a parade trot tomorrow. Gonna try to get as many dogs to bark at me as possible again. Should be a nice day for it.
-
Work. Sleep. eat. Rinse and repeat
-
My nearest furry club has another fur walk, and I SHOULD attend, but I am so nervous and shy. I hate being me!
So... I may finish a book, and play with dogs at shelter. How I miss having a dog of my own! :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
-
FREEZING. Got down low enough to frost the car windows last night. It's not going to get above 60 today. Tonight it's going to be warmer at 45. And through all of this my heater is not working. Igniter is on the fritz. It's 57 in the house right now. To start with I had to replace my thermostat. The old one was getting wonky. Had to mess with it to get the air conditioner to work right so I knew it needed to be changed out. Hadn't had the heat on yet. So last night after work I decided to turn it on. At first I thought there was something wrong with the new stat. Looks like it'll be a cold weekend for me. Keeping warm with a house coat and sweats. I grew up in a house with no insulation, drafty windows and a single wood stove. So this kinda reminds me of when i was a kid. :)
If worst comes to worst I do have a kerosene heater in the garage. But that's a complete last resort for me. I do not like them in the house. Rather be a bit chilly than smell that all day.
-
Went to the library this morning for a little bit, then came home.
Maybe a haircut tomorrow, then hopefully see a friend later and go to a movie.
-
Update on the furnace. I'm not a happy camper right now. I can't complain about the work the folks did when they replaced all the burned out parts of my air conditioner. Replaced my chimney liner and pipe from the furnace to the wall. And they did say they shut my power and gas to the furnace. That was fine with me. Both the gas shutoff and power is on the side of the unite. However what they didn't tell me was they went inside the unit. Unhooked electrical parts and turned the gas off inside as well. Furnace is running now.
-
As much as I don't want to... I believe I need to start looking for yet another job!
Learned something today. It is true that we need right a milestone at work or else there will be lay offs. And thing is, no one I work with believe we can get there.
At least this time I'm going down with the ship , but will hopefully have something the works.
-
Not sure yet. May be doing to a birthday part for a furry friend. Probably do some work around the house. Maybe work a couple of hours.
-
Not sure yet. Depends on weather. Probably stay home and work on a model kit.
-
I will do an interview on Friday and then goof off at home and work in a program and some simple electronics.
Or maybe just walk.
-
Not much. Maybe go to the library on Saturday. Not sure about Sunday.
-
Walk 1 to 3 dogs tomorrow at shelter.
Maybe catch up on work :P
-
Work on an Estes Mercury Little Joe model rocket.
-
Learn how to use a PS4 game controller. Ya, I broke down a got one. Just to play one game. No Man's Sky. Because I can. :) OK I work for a living. Already had to pass on two cons last year. This your I'm passing all of them. Including the fur con in St Louis. All work and no play makes me a serial killer....:) So this is my play for the year. And right now I'm really bad at playing it. The last game controller I held was a Nintendo. We're talking early 90's.
-
Working the closing shift 5pm till 1:30am
-
Work on my Estes Sasha. Maybe bake a pan of brownies. Tidy up the place.
-
Nothing major I guess. Pretty much everything is closed due to the coronavirus pandemic and the Governor issuing a stay-at-home order.
So.......I'll be home either watching DVD movies and tv shows and/or working on model kits, or something else to hopefully keep me busy.
-
I might find some other old electronic junk to restore, or look for a place to live closer to work, or help animal shelter.
I'm one of only 3 volunteers who they allow in now, and that's with a mask and gloves on. And when I'm done there I elect to wash my vehicles car seat cover and sanitize the interior where I can. Even though the dog shouldn't have corona virus nor transmit it.
-
Possibly go to the grocery store Saturday morning.
Not sure about Sunday. Probably stay home and rest.
-
Go for a short bike ride. Primer coat a few models. Remove cosmoline from a war relic.
-
Drive around town to see where I can afford to live. And probably get realtor info. Man, did I mention this is scary to me?!
-
Sitting at home most of the weekend and watching DVD's and/or working on model kits.
-
Cut airframe tubes for several space models.
-
Nothing. Don't really have any place to go nor any friends to hang out with. Spend a nice quiet Memorial weekend at home I guess. Buses don't run tomorrow anyway, so can't go any place.
-
Not going anywhere. Fact is I'll wait till Tuesday to go to the store. Yes I'll be wearing a face mask.
-
Taking a backroad blast with my friend in his M3.
-
I'm not sure, maybe get my dog her shots and just try to relax.
-
Launch a few model rockets if it's not windy later. Bake up a batch of Nestle Toll House Cookies. Renew my driver's license and vehicle license online. Work on a fursuit slideshow from MCFC 2019.
-
Got the tires swapped out on my bike at a local shop. The owner operates out of his garage.
-
Nothing this weekend. At least, nothing major anyway. Didn't want to be out with all the stupid people who weren't wearing masks during this coronavirus pandemic. >:(
-
Gonna redeem that $25 food voucher at a local restaurant and celebrate my birthday a few days early.
-
Absolutely nothing. Being lazy this weekend.
-
Now that my weekend is over I guess I can tell what I did.
The usual. Gas, groceries, lawn, house work.
I'm tired.
Going to watch Looney Tunes on DVD.
Man bugs bunny was a mean little wabbit.
-
Tried to catch the online conference from CAP, but it was a slow connection. Tuned in to Uncle Kage's Winestream.
-
Invited to a CAP cadet's birthday party for Saturday. Asked to fursuit, so just wearing the partial.
-
Might head to a hobby store with a friend today 2 counties away from me.
-
I can tell you one thing, I will NOT be working again. I will be somewhere as far from work as I can get doing non-work things
-
I was kinda hoping I "might" make it to my model club meeting today, but nope. After getting my second coviid vaccine shot yesterday, I was dealing with the side effects all last night and today. :( Probably stay home tomorrow and rest too.
-
Work on a few projects, some may involve painting.
-
Labeling 80 parts bins with a label machine.
Waiting for it to cool down so I can walk doggo.
-
Thursday and Friday: Head to my mom's to help with a computer issue.
Saturday: Model club meeting
Sunday: Head to my best friend's place to help him clean his house.
Monday: Relax........I hope?
Tuesday: Doctor appointment
Whoever said Malamutes were "working class dogs" certainly told the truth on that aspect. :P
-
Going to Arizona for my Birthday which is today
-
trying to exercise the dog and myself, but my legs are hurting so bad I can't. And I do not know why they hurt.
-
Would've gone fishing had gas prices not jumped. Cheaper to just buy fish at the store. Working on projects at home instead.
-
I seriously want to get away from work, and head into the mountains. I also want away from people and their stupidity. If I can I will head to the moon, fewer people there.
Need to get the dog some quality time.
-
Supposed to rain randomly here this weekend. So may stay around home, organize the clutter, and work on a model rocket or two.
-
Not sure about tomorrow.
Possibly going to my best friend's house on Sunday to help clean his place.
-
Found a dentist with weekend hours. I work so much that i spend my weekends doing this normal things normal people do on days off from work.
Then I will hopefully get out of the house and get away from it all for a few hours.
-
Saturday - Might go out to a few stores and do some misc. shopping.
Sunday - Nothing. Stay home and relax on July 4th. Nice thing is that I can watch my city's fireworks from my bedroom window. Don't have to travel to view them.
Monday - Not sure yet.
-
Doing a 4th of July thing with my partner's parents! No plans for tomorrow though.
-
Today, a lot of cleaning and finally going to get to the lawn. Brother's BBQing the 4th so I'll be over there. Not sure Monday. Got the day off. Probably get the rest of the lawn mowed. I'm not that enthusiastic about mowing.
-
Hope to take the dog out for a walking and some light camping. I seriously want away from work.
-
Loaded several videos for consideration on the Funday Pawpets Show for the Christmas In July theme.
-
Visiting my mother today to pick up some stuff.
-
Washing fursuit, resting, taking care of dog.
Had to take Monday off, to rest.
-
Replaced door handle assembly on storm door. Had rear brakes worked on. Then did a bit of shopping in Saginaw. Bought Mom a birthday gift.
-
Trying to get into photography, might go looking for nice things to take pictures of this week.
-
Trying to get into photography, might go looking for nice things to take pictures of this week.
That sounds nice Beag! Photography can be awesome! Remember you can share it here if you want. Posting images here is not that bad. (Kobuk and myself have written several ways to do it.)
I hope to get away from town a little, maybe drag the dog to mountains?
Also need to buy fence material, to make a...fence.
My neighbor thinks I am never home and loves to drive through my area 4 times each day. So My fence, on My property, will help ME!
Hurray for ownership of something. Took me forever but I finally can say that.
-
Tuned 3 handheld old radios. The frequency was off a bit on one. Idk how it ever worked as well as it did. But now it should work better!
Yesterday had 4 people, family, over. What a stressful day!
-
Not doing anything this weekend but tomorrow I'm having lunch with my little sister, great aunt, and grandma.
-
Finally got my new cell phone completely registered and paid off. Still have to set the wi fi up so I can download pics to my computer. Can't wait to get my first pictures of Bigfoot and UFO's on my 64 megapixle camera. No blurry pictures form me! :D All kidding aside the camera is nice. Shoots video too. Had to go with verizon. I'll keep em till the end on next month. Make sure everything is in order. Then switch to a cheaper phone plan. Just needed to own the phone to switch.
-
Not much this Labor Day today. Lot of places I like to go to are closed. Plus, the buses aren't running today. :(
-
Appeared at the Octagon Barn Festival in MI Thumb region. Toured about an hour in full suit. Welcomed by the festival president. Interviewed by the event announcer. Posed for dozens of photos and got into shenanigans. All on behalf of my hosts. First time in the fursuit for a performance in almost two years.
Tomorrow, I may pop in at the local airport fly-in to see how things are going and to spy on some people.
-
Awesome Rocket! Sounds like a lot of fun!
Had to work Sat. Was a complete disaster. Had to replace a part on my machine. That part's seal broke and water came pouring out of the motor housing. Then had to clean out the exit water pipe. Wile cleaning the pipe slipped and cracked both an end cap and part of the pipe itself. Both of these repairs will take hours to complete. Both the actions I took are standard for a machine operator. The damage has to be fixed by maintenance. They are not happy with me right now.
-
Appeared at the MI Renaissance Festival on Saturday. Tadeusz The Polish Fox got plenty of attention. Even earned a $2 tip!
-
Not much I guess. Supposed to rain Sat. and Sun.
Might just stay home and relax. Be lazy.
-
this upcoming weekend, I want to get away and relax. I didn't get to do that the last weekend.
Maybe drive to woods, and walk dog. Maybe fast as well. It makes me feel better sometimes.
\
-
Gonna watch some anime with my partner.
-
Went to a model club meeting yesterday.
Stayed home today. Just being lazy. :P
Holiday tomorrow, so lots of places will be closed and the buses won't be running. Guess I'll just stay home.
-
Spent my weekend working and watching Penn State lose their football game. Could've be better, but could be worse (could be a Packers fan).
-
Hopefully not working.
-
Attended MCFC last weekend and had a great time.
-
Possibly go to a funeral service for a modeler I had known on Saturday.
Stay home on Sunday and relax.
-
House cleaning. And mine really needs it. Just because I like a fandom that likes to pretend they are animals doesn't mean I should live like one. :D
-
Will be at a model contest in Chicago the next 3 days.
-
Having a Halloween party with my aunt's side of the family :)
-
Going to a model contest tomorrow.
Just stay home on Sunday and relax.
-
@Kobuk
Was it fun?
Hopefully going trick or treating.
-
Gonna dress up as my fox character and pass out candy Sunday night. Hopefully later catch FPS in time to see how they react to my video submissions.
-
@Kobuk
Was it fun?
All model contests I go to are fun. The bigger they are, the more fun I have. Particuarly if there's hundreds of displayed models and the vendor area is really big.
But anyway.........the contest yesterday on a scale of 1-10 was about a 7. It was "nice", but the majority of it was centered around mostly automotive stuff. Model cars are nice, but they just don't hold my attention span that much. :P
-
Helping to sight-in rifles at the local sportsman's club. There were a few classics on the line today too.
-
Friday - Stay home. Weather is going to be awful with rain/snow mix and cold temps.
Saturday - Go to a model contest in Illinois.
Sunday - Stay home and relax.
-
I will try to get my covid-19 booster
Take dog for a walk
do 1 hour for work on the computer
clean house
maybe make a pie
maybe, just maybe relax some
pay bills
And mostly I will probably try to find things that I lost during the move to this place. I keep on discovering that many things I need are just flat out missing.
I do not want family to move me again. My sister is slightly clepto I think.
-
Um nothing really but on Tuesday I'm hanging out with friends.
-
I go over to my moms every year for Thanksgiving. Always bring food. This year my mom asked me to "Make something for dessert we've never had before". So this week end I'll be doing a lot of searching and cooking. First thought was Baklava. Then I thought honey roasted chicken gizzards. Have to admit, never had those before. :) Leaning more towards Baklava and Parmesan ice cream.
-
Well... this weekend I managed to pay a few bills, clean house a little. Got some food, did some things... blah blah.
I also got out my old electric remote control car. Cleaned it up, lubed it and got it running really well. Chased my dog Wanda with it, which she likes. Then while diving it to me, to put it away, hit a small obstacle at low speed and blew it up!
It is 12 years old, so... figures. Thankfully the company is still in business and has parts!! And they are cheap! Looks like Wanda will have to wait a few weeks for "her" car to work again.
The things I do for that dog!
-
Gonna fursuit at a friend's grand daughter's birthday party.
-
Nothing major. Just relaxing this weekend.
-
Sat. - Not much. Might go out and browse a few stores.
Sun. - Weather is supposed to be crappy. So probably stay home and relax.
-
Nothing much.
-
I'm sick. So I am doing nothing but trying to get un-sick.
Oh yeah, and checking in to work from time to time. :(
-
Gonna try to make a video, then post it to social media platforms.
-
Going to a model contest this coming Saturday.
Stay home on Sunday, relax, and maybe watch some football.
-
Making Christmas Making Christmas Christmas time!
-
Browsed a few stores today. Didn't buy anything as I was low on money. Just browsed only.
Tomorrow, probably stay home.
-
CHRISTMAS!!!!!!
-
Christmas. Everyone's gone home. House is quite again. Time to clean up and enjoy the rest of the night.
-
Christmas. Everyone's gone home. House is quite again. Time to clean up and enjoy the rest of the night.
Yep, I hear that. Just got home myself from my mom's place earlier this afternoon. Stayed with her for about 2 days for Christmas. Just relaxing at home right now.
-
Nothing on New Year's Eve. I don't go out and get wasted like all the other drunks out there. I'm going to stay home, have a nice hot cooked meal for dinner, and watch a movie.
Saturday and Sunday are supposed to be bone chilling cold, so I'll stay home and keep warm and work on a model kit or find other chores to do around the apt.
-
Struggling to make the best of my time off before I go back.
Took dog for a walk or two. Once in -13F weather. Her paws froze in 2 minutes. I took her home and put on dog boots. She was good to go for 30 min. Have one boot which needs stitching repaired.
Just found out the squeaky squeaky sound in my car is the water pump bearing. Sigh. I can do the job. It's easy. It's just 75 for parts. I'm tired of spending money on anything. Idk about much right now.
My old co-workers's mom died at age 91. That's very sad.
So I'm bummed about that and thinking of how time just keeps ticking for us all. :(
So this weekend I'm essentially wasting time being bummed out.
-
Possible model club meeting today.
As for Sunday, stay home, keep warm, and watch the Packers/Lions football game.
-
Looking forward to the Steelers in the Playoffs Sunday night. Even if they are a 13 point underdog and will most likely lose. Even considered traveling to Kanas City for the game, but none of the family wants to go so no point in going alone.
-
I hope to get out of the house, and do a dog walk. I mean walk the dog. Not me, Wanda. NVM.
I also hope to do more work on my Pseudo-Doppler Radio Direction Finder, as if anyone at all cares anyway.
I did a full blown test drive and it does work and seems to track radio signals to within 2 degrees absolute. So...it's not bad.
-
Go walk the nearby rail trail. Work on a video or two. Try on a costume maybe. Then tune in the FPS.
-
Gonna check out the local gun/knife show with relatives. Will feign disbelief at the inflated prices.
-
Not much this weekend I don't think. Maybe hit the library on Sat. and/or do some grocery shopping.
Sun. - Stay home and relax.
-
Did a booboo on a woodworking project. Cut something 1/16 to wide. Now I need a 3/16 piece of flat steal instead of the 1/8 I planned on using. Also going to go to a few local thrift stores. Hoping to find something I can use as a glass muller. I've made a prototype canvas stretcher. If it works I'll make several more.
-
Replace an A/C on a car.
This is the 3rd one I have done in my life all on different cars.
For those who know, yes it is illegal to VENT a charged system. But for all 3 I have worked on, they vented themselves when they BLEW UP!
Projected to save over $1000 doing it myself, and that is after buying parts and such. And with price of cars now, well... makes even more sense for me to fix it.
Shouldn't take more than 3 hours?
-
Model club meeting this Saturday.
Stay home and relax on Sunday like I usually do.
-
Well my A/C fix took 8 hours. But it works.
I may clean the inside of the car this weekend, but I suspect I will still be coughing up a lung or two since this cold/plague/mystery illness is not gone.
-
Working on a short video for FPS.
-
I hope to NOT work this weekend, and also to get out and do something.
However with gas prices, probably will walk to whatever I am doing... yeah right.
-
Not sure if I'm going to go anyplace tomorrow or not?
Pinky: What are we going to do Sunday, Brain? Narf.
Brain: Same thing we do every Sunday, Pinky. Stay home and relax. :D
-
Getting back into making bread. Going to try the refrigerator bread recipe again. Be nice to have fresh bread rolls in about 30 minutes anytime I wanted them. And any way I wanted. Garlic, cheese, cinnamon and raisin. Along with the normal fresh bread I like making. Might try a few different recipes for regular white bread. Have two favorites I've been making for years now. Need to try a few more.
-
Getting my fursuit prepped for the big local parade Sunday. First time in two years! We're #7 in the lineup and I got the parade committee to waive the entry fee.
-
bled brakes, adjusted parking brake, disposed of used brake fluid (what a nightmare), and removed headlights and resurfaced them (they had gotten VERY sandblasted in a wind storm here 2 months ago).
now logging into bank to unfreeze credit card ... that's another story.
-
Working on an Easter-theme video for FPS.
-
Probably just stay home the entire weekend and relax.
-
Work on a project or two. Bake a pan of brownies. Shower. Try some cosplay perhaps. Tune into FPS.
-
Bake a pan of brownies.
With or without nuts? I prefer without. And moist and chewey. :)
-
Found a video a friend took of me some years ago. I'm singing wile playing a custom built Swamp Witch fretless cigar box guitar. I won this guitar. It was raffled off at a cigar box festival. The song is an original and one of the very few slide guitar songs I made. Recorded about five or six years ago at a builders and players meeting at a blues bar in St Louis Mo. Uploaded it to my small youtube channel. Wanted to share it here as well. Yes, I'm a furry. But I'm not a furry musician. I use my fursona name because it's a great name for a one man singer songwriter. Because it's not furry related thought it best to share here.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LyRn5a99f_U (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LyRn5a99f_U)
Unfortunately the beginning of the song wasn't recorded.
-
Making my first ever wheat bread. It's a wheat, oatmeal, honey loaf. Why go with plain wheat when you can have fun with it. If I like it I have a few more variations I want to try.
-
Going to a 3 day model contest this upcoming weekend on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. :)
-
Making my first ever wheat bread. It's a wheat, oatmeal, honey loaf. Why go with plain wheat when you can have fun with it. If I like it I have a few more variations I want to try.
If it turns out great and tastes great, then I'll order 15 loaves for my cafe and 2 loaves for myself. :D
-
I want to get away.
I hate work.
I hate town.
I hate thinking.
This still makes me laugh.
https://vimeo.com/258867005
-
Kobuk. it turned out awesome! Nothing like store bought. Made another loaf with cinnamon and almonds. Ya, good eats.
Jade, try a new hobby. Something you have no interest in. Might actually start to like it.
Nothing planned for the weekend yet. Car is still in the shop. Really don't want to stack up the miles on this loaner vehicle.
-
Not so much the weekend but Dad and I are going to the Multnomah county fair at Oaks park :)
-
Not doing anything this Memorial Day weekend except being lazy. Maybe watch a few movies or work on some model kits.
Maybe see TOP GUN Maverick movie on Tuesday.
-
Ended up going to work this weekend. Don't have any real plans for memorial day.
-
Model contest this weekend.
Stay home Sunday and relax.
-
Gonna drop in on the local Fly-In, snoop around, and take pictures.
-
Going to buy dad dinner for Father's day.
-
Try some cosplay, bike ride, work on hobby projects, then tune in to FPS.
-
Absolutely nothing. :P
-
Working.
16th straight day in a row.
:goldpissed:
-
Going to see my mom and brother. Taking them out to eat.
-
I'm going to suit as Firelight at Comic Con!
-
Nothing much. Went to library and browsed a few stores today.
Just stay home and relax for tomorrow.
-
Nothing muck, might play Stray then continue my FireRed Wedlocke maybe.
-
Gonna grab a roasted chicken dinner takeout meal from the local Knights of Columbus hall. Also work on submissions for FPS.
-
Going to a model contest this coming weekend on Fri., Sat., and Sun.
It's a three day event.
And I'm hoping I get a gold medal too. ;)
-
Reptile and exotic pet expo!
-
Was doing some wood working in the garage. Saw one wasp on the floor. Happen to look up at the window. Twenty or more there. One I can handle. Too much for me. Sprayed the window down and went inside.
-
Parents seem to want to come over, so I may do that.
:-|
-
A few more tweaks and adding some finish and my outdoor plein air settup will be complete. Will still take some weeks to get the oil paint palette finished. Built the substrate holder to accommodate 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2 inch panels. It will also fit sizes from 5x8 to 11x14. Will still need to build a few panel carriers for both bare and finished paintings. Even have an old fashioned hard shell roll around suitcase to carry everything in. Most people use back packs. Because I'll never be able to hike into woods or go around streams or rivers the suitcase does me just fine. If I can't find anything to paint from a safe distance I'll make something up. :)
-
Attended a fursuit walk in Frankenmuth, MI last week.
-
Baking for Thanks Giving. My mom wants a French Apple Tart. Been a wile sense I last made one of these. I'd have to say having a food processor makes the French dough a lot easier to make.
-
Probably working.
Since I am taking time off before thanksgiving, I will probably have to make my commitments by working FRI/SAT/SUN anyway.
Time to get a new job career.
-
Heading to my mom's for Thanksgiving either tomorrow or Thursday.
As far as the upcoming weekend goes, probably not much.
-
Still waiting for replies of advice on a project I'm wanting to make. Once received I'll be making another wood project over the weekend.
-
Working on video submissions for FPS.
-
Nothing major.
Will head to the library for a bit later today.
Stay home and relax tomorrow.
-
Making Christmas. Making Christmas. Christmas time! Not exchanging gifts this year. Still having a get together and a good meal.
-
Saturday: Model club meeting and Christmas gift exchange.
Sunday: Stay home and relax.
-
Working. Don't mind the overtime. Kinda getting in the way of things I need to do around the house. Still making Christmas. Probably be doing that all the way up to Christmas eve.
-
Not the weekend but Wednesday I'm going to my friends birthday.
-
This upcoming weekend, I may try to hike with my dog Wanda.
Maybe visit family.
-
Last weekend, all week and this coming weekend. Making Christmas.
-
Participated in a Wreaths Across America wreath-laying event with my CAP squadron. Also working on videos for FPS.
-
Awesome Rocket!
All the dec is done. Making Ciabatta bread now. Will be making cherry raisin bread latter. Already make seven different kinds of cookies. More to go. Plus some time this week I'll be making my 'Pineapple Ginger Cake of Death' upside down pineapple cake. OK, it's really a cake with a lot of ginger with just enough red paper to have a zing. Christmas eve I'll be making polenta marenara and the sauce for the lasagna.
The seven cookies.
Anise orange sugar,
Oatmeal raisin,
Oatmeal walnut nutmeg,
Chocolate chip
Chocolate mocha with twice the chips, coffee and coco powder.
Peanut butter,
Cinnamon almond.
To be continued. (:
-
Well, I was hoping to visit my mother for Christmas on the 24, 25, and 26.
But due to Winter Storm Elliot, otherwise known as a bomb cyclone, moving in on Thurs. and Fri., I most likely won't visit her till the 25 and 26.
-
Kobuk. Been watching reports on this cyclone as well. We're only supposed to get snow on Thursday. They've down grated the amount. However they are rarely right. We could get non or a foot when they call for 1 to 3 inches. My mom and brother are supposed to be here Christmas day. Depending on the weather. I may end up packing the entire meal and going to their place.
-
CHRISTMAS!!!!!!! :goldhowl: :goldhowl: :goldhowl:
-
cooking a turkey , i forgot the name of the method, it is a hot water bath for hours. The turkey will be in a boiling bag, only its juices will be in there with some seasoning.
So the turkey will not be water logged or mushy, it will be buttery, seasoned with herbs, and pepper and salt, and in its own turkey fat juices!
down side is it takes like 12-16 hours... but it is LOW heat just 200F. The meat falls off the bone completely. I serve it as sections.
I am weird.

Sounds delicious! :)
Anyway........no Christmas for me. :( At least, not on Sat. and Sun. anyway. If I have Christmas with my mom, it will be later like on Mon. and Tues. or some other days. This winter bomb cyclone has made a mess of holiday travel plans. >:(
-
Christmas! Lasagna, polenta marinara, garlic bread made with home made ciabatta bread and all the rest of the trimmings. We're not exchanging gifts this year. Got everyone a can of three flavors popcorn. Because I know everyone will show up with these to give anyway.
-
My CAP squadron is building model rockets on Saturday and ordering out for lunch. If the weather doesn't go sour, then I may join them.
-
I will probably be cleaning house this weekend. Maybe I can do something fun despite that.
-
Building a set of wood shelves in the basement. I've run out of room and need more. Or I need to stop buying so much stuff. :) And I'm finally taking the time to get back into painting. Doing studies first. Four different ones. Cast studies, with paint, not a pencil. I'm using white material and controlled lighting. Proportion studies. Again with a brush and paint. Continuing the value studies. And Master studies. Master studies are copying a full or portion of a painting done by someone you like. I'll be mainly copying painting by Antoine Bouvard and the Barbazon school of art movement. Just for reference the Barbazon school was the first major movement away from realism. The painters who inspired Monet.
-
I re anchored a shelving unit in garage. It was connected to one stud with one screw. Other screws were in dry wall. Idiots!! It was ready to fall.
I then erected another heavy duty plastic shelving unit.
I then fixed up my jeeps seat covers and put new elastic on them.
Washed the covers. Man they were dirty.
Washed jeep. Then vacuumed inside and washed windows. They were covered with dog goooo
Walked dog 10 miles.
Shoveled driveway.
Cooked dinner
Did laundry
Sealed hard wood floor.
Grocery shopping
Furtopia, bragging I did a lot on the weekend.
I have days where I can do a lot.
But they are rare, so I do as much as I can, when I can.
Thank you God for this productive weekend.
-
Nothing much. Another arctic cold front on the way plus more snow.
Probably just stay home, stay warm, relax, watch movies, build a model, and drink hot chocolate.
-
Nothing this weekend but next weekend I'm going to a cat show.
-
Hoping they get more decent people to rent the house next to me again. Glad they finally got their house built. Hate to see them go. Making more bread, learning more and relaxing from a ruff week at work.
-
I'm listening to ham radio. Nothing much happening here.
Staying in, pneumonia getting worse despite meds.
I either need to become more active in ham radio or just bail on it.
I have too many interests to be good at any of them. Sucks.
Hopefully get taxes done and forget about it.
I do not want to go to work. But I will because they think I'm faking illness. I love work... not.
-
Cleaning up the basement after a minor flooding. Working on FPS videos.
-
Reading, doing painting exercises, watching anime. Rinse and repeat.
-
Nothing much, just hanging with my dad's new dog Zeus and finishing Pokemon Scarlett.
-
Did taxes.
Should get a refund!
Walked dog, got food, cleaned house, worked on project a little.
-
Not doing much. Might walk the dogs, might play Five Night's at Freddy's on the switch, might start a new litter in wolfquest, it's all up in the air!
-
Fixing the pipes under my bathroom sink. Clogged and sprang a leak. Making a 'proofing box'. Because I keep my house on the cool side threw winter I need a warm spot to proof bread dough. Nothing fancy. Be a cardboard box with space enough for a lamp and a bowl for the bread dough.
-
Looks like I'm getting a plumber for this job. No idea how my father in law got this to work. I can't. Tighten two threaded ends together without a flange. Perhaps the plumber will have a fix for my 1950's always clogging inside the wall drain pipes as well.
-
When all else fails go to youtube. I had no idea there was a thing called a 'trap adapter'. And had no idea there was supposed to be a 1/4 inch slope to all drain pipes. The entire under the sink system is about to be replaced. It's not going to help the in wall drainage problem. That's a 1950's till now issue. Will help the leaking that happens when it does clog.
-
Edit a few videos for Funday Pawpet Show. Bike ride on the rail trail. Draw another episode of my "lame" comic.
-
Looks like my weekend project is going on. Told the guy at Lowe's what I needed. Gave me the wrong size pipe adapter. Now I'm going to have to make another 50 mile round trip to a different store to get the right one. When it's all done it will drain better. And be up to code as well. My father in law did what he could with the parts he was able to get here in town. Lasted for over twenty years.
-
Was able to find the new part I needed here in town. But I now need two of them. I'll have to wait till tomorrow.
-
I know what I'll be doing this weekend. And I know know why I'll be doing what I'll be doing this weekend. Found out what the problem is with this plumbing project. ME! Yep. I bought the wrong size pipes. The good news is I still have all the usable pipes I took off. I'll still have to find a few things to complete this project. I can't return what i bought. They've all been open and it's plumbing. Someone will eventually need it. Until then all of it will rest nicely in a box in the basement. With the rest of my 'what was I thinking' stuff.
-
I hope to celebrate my birthday this weekend. Yea me.
I'm old.
I just don't want to work.
Maybe I'll paw off a lot or something. IDK.
Too bad that is broke, just like my spirit.
Maybe I'll just loaf.
🍞 x_x
-
Most likely not much. Going to be cold and windy this weekend, so probably not go anywhere and just stay home. Work on model kits or watch movies.
-
I hope to celebrate my birthday this weekend. Yea me.
I'm old.
*knocks on your door* Delivery for Jade Sinapu!
Hands you a bag filled with a hot corned beef and swiss sandwich, bag of chips, and a large mint flavored hot chocolate all from my cafe.
Free of charge since it's your birthday. :)
-
Thanks Kobuk!
I appreciate the birthday gifts!
To be honest, things have been getting me really down lately. Life seems to have lost a lot of its magic.
-
Supposed to be a damp weekend. So editing video from MCFC and other events.
-
Mowing the grass. it's that time of year again.
-
Looks like we're in for some rain tomorrow, so sticking close to home. Will work on video submissions for FPS.
-
After 2" of snow and after 3 hours of drizzle yesterday, I will hopefully finish the vehicle transmission and rest!! It should be 65F tomorrow.
-
Rain showers forecast again. So just working on various projects at home.
-
I'll be thinking planning pondering an engine swap in my vehicle. Shall I or shan't I?
-
I have an aunt turning 90 soon. So will try to pay a visit to her.
-
Well I ended up doing yard work, getting my lawn ready.
It drinks water, eats fertilizer, but needs no herbicide or pesticide. It cold my area, stores carbon, keeps dust down, keeps dog clean, and is cool to lay on even in hot sunny day. So it's worth it.
Wanda agrees.
-
Submitted a few videos to FPS.
-
Not sure what I might do this weekend. Probably house work, and maybe think about engine swap on my crappy vehicle.
May visit mom for her birthday. Not sure.
-
Not sure what I'll do. Supposed to rain all weekend, so maybe I'll just stay home and work on a model kit.
-
Working Sat. Not sure Sunday
-
Went to mom's for her birthday, late 1 day. Not much happens here.
Just a lot of talk about how things were, better days, aches and pains, all who died, etc.
Not sure I should have come here.
And they wonder why few people come by.
Bleh
-
Want to go to mom's house but if that doesn't happen then I'm not doing much as there will be rain.
-
Did a bit of gardening. Planted tomatoes and cantaloupe. Now waiting for the weather to improve.
-
It is confirmed, I'm going to my mom's house this weekend! And I'm escaping the heat!
-
I have a half-dozen tomato vines left to plant.
-
Taking care of dog, she's sick
-
Taking it easy probably.
-
Taking care of everything and me. I'm sick now. I want a break.
-
Nothing major that I can think of. Maybe go to library on Saturday for a bit.
-
Hopefully I will get to feeling better. I miss the interactions I've had with other furs here, and in telegram. But they are all gone. I have to ping people to get any response. I talk about them and things they like as well as myself. I'm genuine in my interactions but it gets me no where. I loved having friends there but if i have to reach out 100% of the time, am i their friend? No. . My job is coming to an end and I'm not ready for what's next. Even my dog didn't care I'm alive.
So maybe if i can get to feeling better ill be happier. But so far this weekend is going to stink
-
In a smalltown parade Friday. Attended a Furry BBQ meet today.
-
Walked dog in the woods, but it was still 88F and oddly humid. Wanda can't tolerate heat so it was a short walk, too bad it took 2 hours to get there.
-
Nothing much
-
Gonna be in a parade tomorrow.
-
Long weekend, not much. Was planning on going places but the events started way to early for someone who goes to bed mid morning. Did pick up the bass guitar for a bit. This is the bass I bought at an auction for $40 a few years back. Was in really bad shape. Actually looked like someone through it off a moving vehicle. Mostly cosmetic. Had to swap out the tuners and all the electronics. The worst of it was the neck. Took me two weeks to straighten it out. Well, it warped in the same direction again. No where near as bad. But needs to be fixed. Depending on how much of the truss rod ( that's the adjustable steal rod that runs just under the fret board ) has left to move the neck may need to be replaced. Not cheap but something I can do myself.
-
Normally Comic Con, this year no.
-
I get to work more! Hurray!
Not.
-
Still working on that bass guitar. The truss rod was able to straiten most of the warp out. Still have a ways to go. Checked out the prices for new bass guitar necks. I can get a new bass for the same price as a quality neck. I've also came to an important conclusion this weekend. I've just finished up a second experiment. In reality I just changed the molecular structure of two different substances by exposing them to a lethal does of radiation. In my basement. I AM a mad scientist!!!! OK in truth this form of radiation does not have a half-life. Once the energy that causes this form of radiation is terminated only the effects remain.
Cause the Rat. Mad Scientist.
-
Dude, Cause, if it weren't for the shipping companies freaking, I could ship you some high grade thorium ore, or if you prefer uranium ore. I may have some old radium and americeium sources floating about.
I'm still attached to these things considering I mined all but the radium /americium stuff myself. So perhaps I shouldn't have offered.
I know a guy who might be able to get your stuff irradiated by neutrons... for a price. And if my sister still worked at animal hospital, x-rays would have been a choice.
So when does your experiment gain consciousness and start walking?
This weekend I'm really down. I do not like life a whole lot anymore.
Everyone I know and care about is old and has something wrong. I miss my old dogs. I hate work. I hate this ugly conservative crap hole of a town. I miss my old stomping grounds. And to be honest it really feels no one cares if I'm alive or loves me etc. I'm lonely and I almost never get lonely. My dog doesn't even really care about me. Eeverything I do is of no consequence. What's the point.
So I get to go to work tomorrow and literally have to deal with a snot nosed overbearing demanding micro manager boss. I wish he would dry up.
-
Thanks for the offer Jame. I prefer my radiation without a half life. :D Despite both experiments being successful neither will be getting up and walking any time soon. I'm running the first intended use experiment now on the second main experiment. So far so good.
-
Attended a local living history encampment. Also editing video content for FPS.
-
I'm recovering.
Hiked with my dog up a mountain.
Got pictures. May share later.
Changing oil in vehicle now.
Then resting.
-
More experiments. Keep trying until something fails. :D I promise to put up a separate post AFTER I see how the patents end up. Really Really REALLY hoping all of this isn't a wast of time. I'd rather have all my I's dotted and T's crossed before I spend $$$ for a patent lawyer and the research it takes to see if this has been done before.
The only other thing I have planned for the weekend is watching football. Kinda nice to have a relaxing few days.
-
It was 64 in the house this morning. Had to break down and turn on the heater for a bit. Going form a constant 84 to 64 is a bit to cold.
-
Not much.
-
Stare at the sun. It's an eclipse.
Worry about my miserable job.
That's about it
-
Taking my mom and brother out to eat. Running two more experiments with the same stuff. Every time I think I'm done I find something else that needs to be answered. Every new answer I get makes me happier.
-
Was hoping to go to another model contest today. But nope. I'm still sick with a cold.
Not doing anything either on Sunday as I'll still be sick.
-
Should be finishing my Halloween junk. This is first time in forever I've done it. I hope this works. I've turned garage into mad scientist lab.
Should I wear fursuit????
-
"Igor! Pull the lever!" :D
-
There was a lever actually!! And things that sounded and sort of looked like high voltage. But no high voltage.
I haven't dabbled in high voltage for over 15? Years?
At that time I was doing 30 to 50KV DC stuff. Almost died. Got burned bad and stopped. Just pin point burns, but very painful.
When you discharge 50KV capacitor of 1uF, it's loud BTW.
-
Went to an auction this morning. Newbe auction service and man you could tell it. Totally unprepared and really uncomfortable behind the microphone. Did the newbe mistake all morning long. Start the bidding where you want it to be instead of letting the crowd decided where they want to go. Somehow I ended up buying an entire lot of things. Mostly junk. Had to make a few trips to bring it home. All I wanted was one box of old Christmas stuff. After getting it all home I tossed a lot of it. Some of it will be donated. Some will go on Ebay. Ended up selling one box to a guy for the same price I paid for the entire lot. So I got what I wanted for free.
Wile walking around before the event I talked to a few folks there. Quite a few of them were there for the same reason I was. To see what kind of auctioneers they were going to be. Newbe mistakes didn't overshadow some of the more important things. There were a lot of important things they did right. I'll be back.
-
Attended a local furmeet, but arrived late. It was to originate at a popular holiday-themed store/mall and the place was full by the time I arrived. So I moved on to town for the fursuit walk to the cobblestone marketplace where it started last year, but saw no one there in a fursuit. Moved on to the restaurant where there was to be a lunchtime gift exchange--another non-event. Drove up to the Taco Bell on the Main Street hoping to glimpse any furries in the crowds, had lunch, then returned through the town--not spotting any.
Went home with my $20 gift card, having taken a few dozen photos, and having observed a bald eagle soaring above the parking lot of a famous restaurant. Later discovered that there were less than a half-dozen attendees.
-
Took crazy dog on a drive.
It was good.
I didn't take as many photos as I normally would have.
I think ever since I got a "good camera" in my phone, I stopped using my very good digital camera. Which BTW really is much much better than any cellphone camera.
So in the end, I take less photos for some reason, and what I take are crappy compared to what I could have been taking.
I need to post images here...
I wish it was as simple as uploading to furtopia direct instead of using image hosting
-
Mostly sleeping off Thanksgiving lol
I'm trying to see if any of my friends want to go see the Jurassic world tour.
-
Decorating for Christmas. Plan on doing a bit of outdoor decorating too.
-
Taking my time with the Christmas decking. No real reason to rush. The old fashioned looking LED C7s around the front window and door look, old fashioned. :D They are super bright outside. Feels good to make the whole neighborhood glow. Look awesome on the main tree as well. Decided to go with a table top 1970's 'bottle brush' tree instead of the aluminum tree. Along with the main tree there will also be the three foot fake feather tree. I'll start the 8+ hour ornament hanging on the main tree tomorrow. A lot of work. But family, friends and folks that come by always enjoy it. Makes all this work worth it. to be honest, if it was just me I'd still do it. I'm worth it. :)
-
Trying to get my back to stop spasming. I slipped a disk.
Getting tired of this.
Going to see doc on Monday.
So I am taking it easy. Too bad I damaged my back when I was in my twenties... it never got better. That is a long time to have this pain.
-
Hope you get to feeling better soon Jade.
Working on my biggest Christmas prop yet. The deer I made a few years ago is 44 by 36 wide. Stands on all fours and has saddle bags on both sides filled with faked antique candy boxes. This year I'm making a stand up fire place. Out of the cardboard box my lawn mower came in. It will be 44 wide. 41 inches tall. The fire place will be nine inches deep with a 14 inch deep base. Fire box will be >9 deep by 24 wide and 26 1/2 tall. Don't know if I'll have time to make the fake logs this year. The fire place will be mostly cardboard. Soothed out with a home made polymer and paper mache'. To keep it light all the supports will be out of cardboard. The mantle and base will be styrofoam. Be something I'll be able to carry around. Lug it up or down stairs. Depending on where I decide to store it.

I think I caught some kind of flu bug. Experienced minor cramps and sinus headaches a few days ago, and dealing with the after effects.

Maybe putting up the tree and wrapping presents.

Probably stay home on Sunday, relax, and work on a model kit.

After the fact. What I did...
Walked doggo. Walked myself too. At the same time in fact!
Found a poor fuel injector on vehicle and replaced it. It was causing a few random misfires.
Spent 2 hours in a snow covered junkyard trying to find an electrical connector for my transmission gear range indicators. Turns out, everyone who goes there uses battery powered saws to cut out what they want and they damage everything else.!!!
They damage not only wires but mechanical things. Last time I will go there for anything!!! And it costs $5 to get in and you pay for what you remove.
:goldpissed:
Did you know each electrical connector in your vehicle can cost around$100 each new?????
I had to dig deep and fork out the dough. Got my connector ordered.
I got some much needed food. Did house chores.
Watched the bride of Frankenstein on TV while snacking.
Washed car.
Paid bills
Basically nothing important goes on here.
I'm as interesting as drying paint

Hopefully going to the reptile expo.

Starting a week and a half vacation. We had a plant wide meeting last month. The CEO talked about vacation time. Then needled me for not using mine. Saying that I had 160 hours. So I took his advice and feeling really good about it. Not sure what I'll do. But I know I enjoy it. :D
