It looks like was seeing if the forum had the standard spoiler function. The one where the text is blacked out until you move the mouse over it. Apparently, it does not.

Some forums have a spoiler feature where a certain block of text can be blacked out, or put into a little drop down menu that one has to click on to see the text.

To the best of my knowledge, I've never seen that feature on SMF forums. I don't know if we have it or not.
And also, hiding or writing anything in black colored text is banned on the forums here as it is too easy to hide and abuse language.

Yeah, I'm thinking of forums on phpBB. Get them all mixed up sometimes (it's all Greek to me, after all).

And the idea with the blackened out text is, the text itself is regular, but covered by a black box. Clicking on it reveals the text (and the box doesn't come back until you leave the page).

And now you're taking my whacking-newspaper! >:(

*grabs the newspaper back!*

You can always use code in a sense instead of a spoiler anyway:

Code: (Awesome cheats) [Select]
Spoil zeh uber awesome codes fur zeh unlockable stuffz in TF2!
AND MORE!
And More!
....
And that's a more-eh!

Oh not that either hm? Some [ code ] commands come with a shrinkable box that you can minimize.

Whoa!  That's some radical code, man!  Dude!  :)

But I can still read it all, yeah.  I like the spoilers thing, but I can live without it.  I don't think it's really needed on a forum like this.
Allasso, Volume 2: Saudade is now out!  Feel free to check it out ^_^

To the best of my knowledge, I've never seen that feature on SMF forums.

Looking at it I think to get them you use a plugin mod or write the code yourself. SMF site has the mod for them. So in theory we could have them  :)

epp! That's a electric socket  x_x

Well looking at the files they use image files. It's a pretty common way of firmware updating so I'd say there's a mod manager that allows you to look for the image file and it updates from it. Pretty much like updating my NAS or router firmware. Both take a few clicks to do.

wait, what? I guess i'll have to re-read the rules then o.O , i use black when i want to hide spoilers. is it okay to hide spoilers?
Sometimes I wonder how easily I am influenced by those around me. The need to fit in somewhere always tugs at me from the back of my mind, even though I should be doing my own thing.
