I know a lot of classical (by the broad definition of the term) piano music.

Rachmaninoff Prelude in C# Minor (Granted, it's not the happiest piece, but it sounds lovely.)
Turkish March
Cohen Scherzo #7 (Okay, this was technically made in the 2000's, but it sounds classical.)

I'd add more but I just had a brainfart.  x_x Youtube is also a great resource for this.

My absolute favorite orchestral piece is Barber's Adagio for Strings. It's a very intense piece with a lot of emotion, but I find it pretty calming. I've even had the opportunity to play this piece and man... what an experience.

I've taken to listening to the local classical station here on my drive to and from work. Some of the popular composers you hear on there:
Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov
Camille Saint-Saens
Franz Schubert
Felix Mendelssohn
Arcangelo Corelli
Mozart
Tchaikovsky
Georg Philipp Telemann
Antonin Dvorak
Antonio Vivaldi
Dmitri Shostakovic

That list + youtube should get you a good start :P

my taste in classical music is very -very- different from everyone elses, so i feel that it's my job to expose you to music (and maybe especially violin/string music) that you will have never heard before in your life. maybe you'll thank me, or maybe you'll tell me that my music is just talentless and "not music" but i don't care! try some of these out for size;

and if i may add to the list of beautiful composers who aren't as weird and wonderful as these guys;

claude debussy
maurice ravel
bela bartok

if you listened to all of those pieces i linked you to, thank-you very kindly. i'd love to know your opinion
