Right, so i've already started collaborating with'a friend on the investigatory RP, so espect some news on that in the near future. If anyone wants to PM me a char card for this one, go right ahead. I'm not e'tirely sure for the specs on the characters, so don't spect immediate approval. I'm also limiting it to 2 main characters. Other people can join in. but'll be playing supporting roles, and may not be featured at all times. I'm looking forward to gettin back to my role as puppet-mas- I-i-i mean DM... heh.
For those of you looking forward to the pits, i'll let you know that i have some pretty ambitious plans this time round, though not NEARLY to the extent as "A Disturbance on the Frontier." I haves a new classification system for the various arenas, so espect to be in'a more traditional combat scenario, and less mirror-mazes and cursed, haunted towns full'a dead people (and the gratuitous amount of references to other RPs.) Like d'uther one, you's free to PM me a char card at any time.
I'm looking forward to, erm, working, with you guys... eh heh...
UPDATE: 12/12/13
Gotten a fair deal of work done concerning my RPs, and a few other projects of mine that i'm sure would bore the heck out of you lot.
The investigatory RP is probably on hold , as i've had no real time to collaborate with my friend.
Pits Fights, Season 3 is chugging along smoothly, abet rather slowly.
A Disturbance on the Frontier is moving like molasses, but is technically still moving, so getting there little by little.
The Lowest Class has been dug back up and is finally getting some written work done for it.
Dug around in the data pile and recovered Adventure0001, a play-style story i started a long time ago. Irrelevant to most of you.
New character list, fully fleshed out, more extensive, and better organized. Once again, pretty irrelevant to the likes of you.
So yeah, that's the gist of it so far. I'll cone back to update when i have any new significant progress.
UPDATE 12/26/13
No laptop, but my mind has been wondering like a hyperactive child in a industrial grade candy store. That is to say, going nowhere at a breakneck pace. If I could get this stuff written down in an efficient manner, I might ACTUALLY be getting somewhere with this stuff, but alas I am too lazy to use paper and pencil (if only for the difficulty of editing)
Still, i've gotten some stuff worked out in my head, relevant stuff too. I have very much come to a sound conclusion regarding my RPs; quantity reduces quality. The only two RPs that I've been thinking about are A Disturbance on the Frontier, and Season 3 of the pit fights. To any of you who are waiting on another RP I may have had planned (pokemon RP, the lowest class) you're just gonna have to wait and hope (though there may be little merit to the hope part)
So anyway, what i'm trying to get at here is that IT COULD BE AWHILE before anything noteworthy comes along.
UPDATE: 1/12/2014
So, my laptop is back up. The thing thats gonna happen first is Season 3, but yet again, i'm at a stump. Guess who read over Furry Saddles for the 7th time? Exactly. That RP (was) awesome, and i wish i could somehow reproduce it in my own RP (as it's quite obvious that hardly anyone can manage a multi-man RP anymore.) Problem is, since i can't trust anyone else to take charge, i have to do it myself, and if i do something, i'm gonna go whole hog on it. Going whole hog takes time, as you can see i have nothing to show you from 4+ months of work. I also fear that once i start the RP, people are going to lose interest, and my time will have been wasted. what should i do? Oh right, nobody cares, and i don't blame them.
Bottom line is, i'm still frustrated, and don't have enough motivation. Good to know that some things never change.
