Here's a fun little recipe for a snack my mother made for me during Christmas last year and I thought I'd share with everyone.
1 1/2 sticks of butter.
3/4 cup of brown sugar.
(Boil slowly for 2-3 minutes until completely melted/mixed.)
Total of 6 cups of the following:
2 cups Rice Chex
2 cups Wheat Chex
2 cups Corn Chex
1 cup cashews or any other nut. (Optional)
M&M’s for color. (Optional)
Put all ingredients in large bowl and mix with the brown sugar liquid/syrup.
Then put in/on a 9” x 13” pan (or larger) and bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes.
Take out, stir, then bake an additional 8 minutes.
Finally, take out, let cool, then serve.
