What is the average IQ for a furry. Is it the clamed 120?

Tickle's test for tose that don't know

Also tickles test gives you a description of how you think so post that if you want.

Heres mine:

133 '<img'>

your IQ score is significantly above average. Congratulations! You have a wide range of exceptional skills which are much stronger than those of the average population. You are also skilled at answering the types of questions that are asked in a classic IQ test. The test analyses your strengths and weaknesses based on your mathematical, linguistic, visual-spatial and logical skills. Even though you have high scores in all of those areas, we are able to analyse your results to discover the areas in which you have the strongest abilities.

You've got a very experiential way of learning and a strong mathematical mind. You're able to whittle even the most complex situation down to comprehensible component parts. In short, you have mastered the art and science of precision. That's what makes you a Precision Processor.

For you, life is a series of equations. Your brain is naturally predisposed to intense mathematical acuity, and your understanding of numerical problems is unparalleled. It's second nature for you to cut to the heart of an issue, so that you can discover quick solutions to problems while others get bogged down in unnecessary details. One precision processor that comes to mind is the Greek philosopher-mathematician, Pythagoras. Pythagoras had a mind for numbers and, as such, could come up with previously unknown theories like his method for calculating the sides of a right triangle (a2+b2=c2). You too, can use numbers to translate aspects of the world around you -- something that doesn't come easily to everyone. Your quick mathematical mind will allow you to communicate a variety of ideas to other people, so don't keep it to yourself.

EDIT: Tinking about that I've got 136 before...

And mine: 135

Keith, your IQ score is significantly above average.

Your mind's strengths allow you to think ahead of the game -- to imagine or anticipate what should come next in just about any situation. Because you're equally skilled in the numerical and verbal universes of the brain, you can draw from multiple sources of information to come up with great ideas. The timelessness of your vision and the balance between your various skills are what make you a Visionary Philosopher.

In addition to your strengths in maths and linguistics, you have a knack for matching and anticipating patterns. These skills and your uncanny ability to detect the underlying blueprint of most of life's situations add to your visionary philosopher mind. Two philosophers who share the same combination of skills you possess are Plato and Benedict Spinoza.

Eric, your IQ score is 117

Eric, your IQ score is slightly above the average IQ score. Congratulations! Among your skills, there are certain areas that stand out above the rest. The classic IQ test analyses your strengths and weaknesses based on your mathematical, linguistic, visual-spatial and logical skills. By analysing your answers we can discover the areas in which you have the strongest abilities.

You are equipped with a verbal arsenal that enables you to understand complex issues and communicate on a particularly high level. These talents make you a Word Warrior.

Whether or not you recognise it, your vocabulary is your strongest suit -- use it whenever you can. Since your command of words is so great, you are also a terrific communicator -- able to articulate big ideas to just about anyone. Your wordsmithing prowess will also help in artistic and creative pursuits. The power of words translates to fresh ideas off paper too. Since you have so many words at your disposal, you are in a unique position to describe things in an original way, as well as see the future in your mind's eye. In short, your strengths allow you to be a visionary -- able to extrapolate and come up with a multitude of fresh ideas.

I refused to turn on cookies for the test, so I'll use the score given me by my Mensa entry exam - 110.

And no, I didn't get in ':p'

The first time I took that test I got 135, the second time I got 131 and I answered every question the same as the first time. The only difference is at the very end when I said this wasn't the first time taking the test. :P

Though I did take another, much more difficult IQ test and it said I was in the 130s as well.

And, yeah, I'm a words/English guy.

You are gifted with the natural fluency of a writer and the visual and spatial strengths of an artist. Those skills contribute to your creative and expressive mind.

Insightful linguists can take complex concepts and articulate them to just about anyone. You have a gift with words and insight into processes and the way people think. These talents enable you to explain things clearly to people. Helen Keller is a great example of an Insightful Linguist. Blind, deaf and mute, she was still able to put things together in her mind and to understand complex ideas. She could do that because she was able to conceptualise ideas internally. Though she could not literally see, she had the visual and spatial skills necessary to understand patterns on an abstract level. She learned to read, write and ultimately became a writer on issues of social justice.

Never really done an IQ test before. Always assumed I'd get around 100-110 (which is above average). The problem with this test is the limitless amount of time in which to come up with an answer (edit: this is possibly reflected in that the claim that the average IQ of participants is 120).

136

You have a strong ability to process visual-spatial and mathematical information. These skills combined with your strengths in logic are what make you a Visual Mathematician.

You're able to understand patterns visually and in numbers. That means your mind can create a mental picture for any problem. In addition to that skill, you possess an intelligence that allows you to apply maths to that picture, too. That helps you manipulate multiple parts of the picture (or problem) to come up with a solution. You have many skills that are critical to success and problem-solving. Your talents help you understand the "big picture," which is partly why people may turn to you for direction -- especially in the workplace. You flourish in environments where tasks are clearly defined, and you excel at improving processes and making things more efficient. Like Einstein, your ability to detect patterns and your skills in maths and logic, make it natural for you to come up with ideas and theories that simplify processes for everyone.

The last time I took one I got 154. It was timed, too. I'm not sure if it was supposed to be equivalent to one you'd take to get into Mensa or something more serious like that though, so take it with a grain of salt I guess?

Official IQ tests haven't been particularly consistant for me, I've tested as low as 134 and as high as 163.

This is the result the Tickle test gave me:

The Classic IQ Test
Lobar, your IQ score is 140
Visionary Philosopher

I didn't take that IQ test because I'm not feeling very well and wouldn't have any time to concentrate on it. Maybe I will later, but I don't expect my results to be any different. I scored a 117 on the last one I did. My score used to be higher, but I suffered some brain damage, and I can't think so well anymore...
I bid thee farewell, oh furry fandom! May we meet again.

My score was put into the voting process.  I won't list it here as I am not a believer in rating/ranking people or things.  Even hate doing 'top ten' lists.

The one interesting aspect was that as it seems lots of folks were rated 'visionary', I was listed as a 'fact locker' (or something)... in other words it said I have a mind full of facts and tend to remember things well.  Which seems to be true.  Sadly, most of it is fairly unimportant history and entertainment type stuff.

Oh, and have found that IQ does not mean much in the real world.  I have known several folks with really high scores, and some folks with low scores.  It did not indicate how well  they were able to handle tasks, work, school, social stuff and other things.

My guess is that they changed the test. Nothing but American TV can make someone drop 65 IQ points over such a short time period - or severe brain damage '<img'>

I don't put much stock in IQ tests and stuff. Its enough for me to see what I can do without even trying. On the other hand, those online tests are kinda fun...

Hmmm, last time I did a real IQ test I got something like 145 (ish). I have to say that the analysis is fairly accurate, though.
