I love to cook, my mum tought me everything and since then i like to cook. I can cook everything, but my fave to cook is asian meals. I you give me a recipy i can cook it, to me cooking is a pation its just something that i like to do.

When I moved to my own place I didn't know how to cook more than simple stuff like pasta - my mother had taught me sweet jack about cooking and my father's skill didn't extend far past bacon and eggs - but I got myself a couple of books, including an older edition of The Joy of Cooking (the newest edition is crap - get an older one if you can), and just started trying stuff.  I got into some embarrassing disasters but within a few weeks I was competent.  And I liked doing it.  (Washing up after, though, that's a different story '<img'>)

I cook occassionally, considering I'm in college and my folks can't do it for me. Unfortunately, I can only make 2 things without resulting in food-poisoning: lasagna and pie (my family's specialties...it'd be sacrilege if I messed either up). For the sake of my friends, I dare not attempt anything else. I can piece an entire car together...but I can't make decent pancakes. Let's just say the S.W.A.T. team would probably show if I made a fruitcake.
