first off i don't know how to upload stuff to the computer and post it. so if any one could help explain that it would be greatly appreciated and beyond. second i have severe drawing block it's confusing i can only draw when i'm inspired too. most of my drawings are really good or so my friends say personally i don't think their all that good but any way i also need help to get my drawing block unblocked the last thing i drew sucked so bad. so any tips on this will also be greatly appreciated. and as soon as i'm able to post my art on this i will. so can any one please, please help me out here. the computer thing is what i'm going to have a problem with i'm not really tech savey i only know the bare basics of the computer.

There's lots of ways to upload a picture, but I'll just explain what I do. There's always the option of taking a cell phone picture, emailing it to yourself, and then downloading it from your email. What I prefer to do is use a scanner (if you don't have one, a school or library usually will).
Artist block isn't something you can choose. If you need a breather from drawing, then take it, and in the meantime study other art and let the ideas and concepts float in your head for a while until you feel the need to draw. If you need practice, then take the 'inspiration' out of the equation, and simply do some personal art studies. Take a brown paper bag, crumple it, and draw it (great practice for shading and form.) Look up pictures of things your interested in drawing, and draw them. Focus on the technical aspect of drawing; shading, form, proportion, contrast, etc. That way instead of fishing around for an idea of what to draw, you're successfully using your skills and still drawing, while getting better. :) Hope that helps!

thank you for the advice i will certinly use it

Uploading to a computer requires a scanner or as said take a
digital picture and email it to yourself. Most digital camera's
have a way to upload to a computer too..
Once on your computer you can upload to a photo site or your
web page for posting.
Art block like writers block is something we all deal with. You might
offer to do drawings for some of the members. Just post it in
the artwork announcements..
Hope that's helpful.

yes thank you very much

i scanned my art at school but do i make a link or should i put it in hear i'm not really sure i'm not very tech savvy
-
Step One: Upload image from scanner to an image hosting website such as photobucket or imgur
Step Two: Copy the link from the image on the website
Step Three: Paste it here
It's really easy once you get the hang of it.

-
You should give them a try too.
-
i just found out that my school blocked all of those sights so i can't get to them
-
Did you try face book. I think you can post pictures there with open
viewing. Then you could post a link to it here.
-
i never knew you could do that i'm going to try it thank you
-
Facebook is most likely blocked. I found a relatively obscure site, 5th page of google results.
Here you go: www.imagehosting.me
:D

I dont know if this is too late, but her it goes anyway. I am also an artist, selfproclaimed artist but an artist nontheless. I also get severe drawing block andi cant draw unless truely inspired. What helps me is that im also an beginning writer. I am in the process of writing a war novel and i enjoy visualizing the scenes and drawing them on paper. maybe if you had another project in your life you could draw inspiration from it would cure it. i dont mean writing necessarilly, but that's what works for me.

thank you for the advice, but like you i'm writing a book about zombies. i've already drawn the charactors exept for one and i don't know how to draw racoons. but visualizing is good advice thank you i will certinly try that :)
-
Depending on what kind of character your wanting Raccoons
arn't too much different than others. Just draw the distinctive
face patterns and ringed tail..
Here is a anthro one I did a few years back.
