Apparently that's not how the internet works anymore, people just pretend to make links because it gets roughly the same idea across. It's like, "let's all agree that I found a video of Big Mac saying nope and posted the link here."
Linguistic innovation. The internet has it.
This list of S3 episodes looks pretty promising!

From what I've read, season 3 is going to mostly focus on Twilight :o.
I viddy a chelloveck who won't pony nadsat.Awesome sig is awesome.
All right, how is this going to work? Last season we kept all the episode discussion in one giant thread. Seeing as that made it inconvenient to discuss any but the most recent episode, I do think individual episode threads would be nice.
Anyway, Crystal Ponies! I loved how Twilight used her powers more in this episode, like when she fell from the stairs and then realized she could just levitate and teleport; and of course the gravity magic. Also the animation seemed really good. And using the song as a closing was a great way to keep an already-expected ending dramatic.
I was initially excited about getting more examination of Twilight and Celestia's relationship, but to me that aspect seemed a little flat. Why the use of the quest as a test? And why the instructions, 'in the end it must be you alone, who assists Shining Armor and Cadance...' You're not going it alone when you're helping someone else. And then the whole time, Twilight's interpreting things as if Celestia already foresaw everything and knows the precise nature of the test. Which to me seems to go against the carefully-worded but incorrect instructions.
As for the crystal ponies themselves I was glad to find they weren't an additional type of pony; I mean they're just earth ponies who sparkle due to the protecting effects of the crystal heart.

Uh....No. Making a single thread for "each individual episode" is just going to flood/spam the forum. Therefore, it's better if this thread was merged with this one:
http://forums.furtopia.org/index.php?topic=44908.0
.......and Neofur's thread can be retitled as "Season Three Discussion".
Keeping any and all Season 3 discussion to a single thread is a matter of simplicity and efficiency. Nothing more. I see nothing wrong with what I have advocated. And I resent the fact that you are implying that I am trying to "stifle" discussion. I am not. Members CAN discuss MLP. But I feel it is better to continue and use Neofur's thread to further discuss Season 3 episodes. His thread started out originally discussing the upcoming Season 3 air date. Why not just continue discussing Season 3 further in that thread?
From my POV, Neofur's thread is a "waste of space" because all it does is discuss an "air date" which is a very trivial thing. Might as well use his thread for more Season 3 discussion. ;)
Edit: Neofur's thread (Posts 1-21) and aspect's thread (Posts 22 - etc.) have been merged.
I'm wondering how Dave Polsky would do on a serious episode after being given the time to adapt to the new characters, though. He sure succeeded in making something immeasurably creepy.
While we may like that aspect, they have to be really REALLY careful about it. Remember who the target audience is and why we liked it in the first place. ;)I'm wondering how Dave Polsky would do on a serious episode after being given the time to adapt to the new characters, though. It's actually kind of nice to be seeing a slightly dark, creepy edge to the show more recently. For quite a while there it seemed like it was really just a sitcom. And, while I like some of those episodes, it's nice to see them doing some broader fantasy, which really works better when the show is allowed to be a little bit dark.

6 year old sees 30 pinkies and probably laughs because it's silly.
One of us sees 30 pinkies? We think it's just plain creepy.
So, is anybody else a little ticked off that they're still airing a new episode this weekend? I guess Christmas is still technically a couple days out from Saturday, so it's not like they are airing a new one on an actual holiday. I hope they do skip the following weekend though O.O
The season is going to go by so fast if they don't take any breaks at all... last season was a 26-episoder. It felt to me like they took a ton of breaks and the season kinda lasted forever. Now this one comes around with half the episodes, and I'm not sure there's been a week break at all since the season started.

You could make it last longer by doing what I'm doing -- namely, not getting around to watching the episodes right away. I've still got the Wonderbolts Academy one to watch. I'd watch it right now... but, the five-year-old has already been put to bed, and it seems wrong to watch it without her. There never seems to be a good, convenient time to sit down and watch an episode until *after* the child goes to bed. Or, possibly, while she's at kindergarten... but, that seems wrong for the same reason.
