Wow, of all places this is one of the first topics to actually *raise* my "faith in humanity" score above negative numbers. Seriously, kudos to everyone in this topic who is fully aware that they are not an animal in any way shape or form. I've never been one for the lifestyling, but the idea of using someone or something else's behavior as a template for my own is repulsive in its own right. I think, in a lot of ways, the point of furriness and anthropomorphism is not to bring out the inner animal, but to highlight our humanity, what it is that makes us who we are and what we just couldn't stand to lose.
