For the equines, ungulates, and any fur that ever considered a bridle, would you wear one to a furry con or anything like that, or would it look too odd or just not work on a human head..?

I doubt it'd really work well enough. mostly because we don't have a muzzle. the straps for it are either going onto the back of the head or around the muzzle, and I'd imagine that the metal bar you're supposed to have in your mouth would be ghastly uncomfortable. ':?:'

I personally would never do it with just my own body, but if I were, say, to get a deer suit (most likely of the choices), I would possibly consider it for the same purpose of canines having collars and leashes (I think it'd be fun, personally, so long as the bar was in the suit's "mouth" rather than my own).

Actually, I've made up bridles that do fit the human head quite well. It's a bit of work, but they look nice (and can have reins attached).

Yeah, I feel like that really wouldn't work on a human... with a horse, the neck and the mouth are a LOT farther apart than they are on humans. And like AgentFox002 said, I don't know how happy furs would be with having to bite down on a metal bar all day.

The Ponyplay set do have some rather impressive bridles, these do include bits and often feathered plumes circuslike. As for me, would I wear one, no way no how. Its just not my thing.

hehe yeah would be rather odd looking on a human, soudns like something out of an insame asylum O_o lol Furries are crazy!

got the idea from Christmas reindeer actually, if someone in a deer fursuit wore a bridle with jingebells that would be pretty cool

The bridle with bells would look pretty cute this time of year but for most times it would seem a little too much like bondage. I've considered a collar with a bell but I suppose I should stay with neckties for that well dressed dog look.

I've made a few for fursuits. It looks alot better than onna human.

As Savaaha mentioned, there are bridles made for humans to wear for those into pony play.

As for wearing one to a convention it would depend on the rules of the individual convention. Since wearing a bridle is related to a branch of BDSM sexual play it would not be allowed at Anthrocon. They have a policy against obvious BDSM gear in public areas since they want to maintain a PG environment. I think other furry cons have more liberal rules on clothing.

Yeah, I could picture a bridle on a gryphon, or maybe on a very subservient hawk, but I don't think it would work too well.

Meh, I don't know. I've worn a colar around before, just to feel what it's like and because I'm strange like that. If I came across one I might wear it just to see.... To a convention, probably not.

aside from the fact that a bridle would look very strange, it would most likely be rediculously uncomfortable and awkward. also,the general public might associate it with some sort of sexual fetish. of course, I wouldn't condem anyfur who would wear one, as they say "different strokes for different folks."

personally, I wouldn't wear one.

I'd be willing to try it once. Ive seen some really nice ones made for bondage/pony play, and it wouldnt take much to make it more usable for a furry. If it was made well, I dont think it would be too uncomfortable, but I'd never go out in public with one...... Now on a fursuit...Most deffinately!!! If I ever save up the money to commison a suit, I will get a bridle for it for sure.
