Devon stood up and helped her up too, "no, I want proof!" He protested, dashing towards the open door to the end of the hall, and where bolvar had found a portal, Devon found nagrarok. With tears rolling down his cheeks and sobs escaping his throat, he brought the blade to Merissa and fell to his knees, crying like a babe.

Devon cried until his tear ducts ran dry, while far above, bolvar watched them, feeling great pain and sadness at the loss his mates were feeling, unable to do nothing.

Devon turned to Merissa, his voice cracked and dry, "He-he would've wanted us to look after each other, and his children...."
