Hmmm, I remember seeing him on Ripley's Believe It Or Not. But it was on one of the Spanish Channels. o_O He's covered in tattoos, stuffed his upper lip, got synthetic whiskers implanted, and a few other things. It made me think.....I should become a wolfman! '<img'>

Look what I found in an article about him:

"It is illegal in the United States for a medical professional to alter someone's appearance beyond what society deems normal."

What do you guys think about that?

I wouldn't doubt that we have laws like that, but I consider the law "BS to be ignored".

Why the hell should we let the government decide what we can and can not do to our bodies?

I'd like some more information on that. It doesn't sound like a law, in that the definition is too imprecise. How does one determine what "society" deems "normal"? Standards of what is "normal" probably varies considerably by state and region. What's "normal" for New England may not be "normal" for the Deep South, and what's "normal" for either region may not be "normal" for the West Coast.

Besides, why worry about it? Once we take over, then it will be normal.   '<img'>

Yeah, there's also a law in California on this certain street that anyone deemed ugly can't walk down it. I wonder who decides who's ugly and who's not. -shrug-

But I think maybe that law goes sorta' along the lines of a non medical professional can't use anesthesia. So everything Cat has had done was just done. Painful, eh? -shudder-

Yeah, I don't think anyone followed what I just said. Sorry 'bout that. ^^;

Those are some really BS laws. I'd like to know more, too.

Man, I can't stand society. An anthro/furry world would be nice if it's as understanding as the current community.

And I agree, who's to say what he can/can't have done to his body, and that US doctors can't do it. I see nothing offensive or that extreme.

I'm neutral about this guy. Kinda freakish, but really I wouldnt judge him until I come face to face with the man.

I can understand why he's doing what he's doing, if what he says on his website is truthful. It is somewhat of a spiritual agenda, but modern technology and medicine allows him to take it to an extreme no Lakota or Huron would have gone to.

I don't think he's all that freakish looking, I probably wouldn't think twice if I saw him on the street, but then I'm used to turning a blind eye, you have to be if you live in or near a big city.

the only thing I can't imagine is sleeping on those "whiskers"...  or eating/drinking, since he doesn't have the cat's tongue structure to carry food and water to the throat...  i would imagine that would be messy...

whatever floats his particular boat, methinks...
