I had already thought of the exploding ballon problems so I figured if i add big tanks that the gas could be pumped into & the ballon would be rigid to act as structure it would just be hollow for the gas to blown into. Or maybe big collectors so as it enters atmo, it gathers the gas it needs. I also was already planning jet/ turbine engines maybe like on serenity ( firefly) . What is gimp grey? And I'll send renders at more conventional angles & give you the file itself so you can see it yourself ( you'll need blender to open it though) and actually I was originally planning it to be more like a sci-fi spacecraft then a a zeppelin shape but it sort of went in that direction. And we could do more then 1 if we want we don't have a time limit.

Ps I'm in my iPod at school do I can't do much now or when I get home ( drivers ED & then forced trick or treating with my sis & her friends then she is having a birthday party after ( she is born nov1st so right after Halloween.)

I just had another idea for ballon inflating. It would land in the water then separate the water into oxygen & hydrogen then use that to inflate itself.

just thought about some thing... i think it should have bottom thrusters too like the aeroscraft. also add some fins to the top of the back like in this pic

im not sure that top/ bottom thrusters is a good idea. what if we make the engines VTOL capable so then it just rotates the engines instead of extra thrusters? but i will be adding RCS thrusters & reaction wheels for out-of-atmospheric and orbital flight. & the RCS could be used in atmo as well. but i will ad some fins that is a good idea.

EDIT may not do the RCS & reaction wheels. the wheels are usually inside & the RCS would be too small to me of much use in m hands that'd be a better job for you. anyway on the fins how about like the wings on this?

decided to try out a tail fin idea, i like it, it could be cleaned up & i might change it a bit but here is a render to give the idea of it.

oh and because when greywolf does print it out to draw. i figured all that grey( hey grey wolf printing grey) would be a bit spendy to print out. also i wanted to try ambient lighting. so i tried this

how'd it go? the lighting looks ambient and now the background is white so when printed the printer doesn't print a paper full or grey ink.

EDIT im looking at it and im actually squinting because its so white compared to the usual grey, and i have a slight headache.

im not working on it now due to all the changes ^^ every time i think about starting to working on it there is something new :3 but that is good that we are getting more detail in it ^^

now one thing that i have noticed is that this still doesn't look like a spaceship. just mixing a spaceship and blimp i don't see how that would work way more efficent to just have a spaceship than can go into atmospheres like the frigates in halo. so we could just make it a high-tech blimp/zeppelin

allright. but you could for practice if you want. oh and are we arming this? if so do i out it on or will you add the weapons? or maybe i just add larger ones then you ad smaller ones like PD wepons

yes i plan to have weapons :3 almost every thing you see that is partaly from me is going to have weapons on it ^^  oh and for the weapons im going to think up some ideas for the weapons since adding weapons to a zeppelin is not the easiest task since most of those things are faberic/some light weigh kevlar/ or some foil like stuff.

grey, grey we are talking about an airship that is space capable. a thin fabric would not do. it has to have a hull. even if it doesn't go into space it needs a rigid hull to support it. look at the side gondolas & the supports holding it up. it would never do to have big supports held by foil. also the weapons could be attached to the gondolas. the aeros is going to have a hull. the militaries new idea for spy drone blimps have rigid hulls. fabric is old school. we arent old school here in IPHQ LLC we are talking about armed space blimps here.

how about we just make a blimp? a blimp or a spaceship would look cooler than a blimp/spaceship. who knows we could make a space ship later ^^ but for the weapons ya i see how it would work some hardened fiberglass shell and the weapons could be mounted on the frame of the ship... that is where they usually mounted. why did i not think of that?...
