Post by: Wanderer on March 02, 2012, 11:29:38 pm
Daisy my sweet
Daisy my loving red dog
You are the birds tweet
Even if your a bed hog
You will always be remembered
Not for your fur or cute face
But for the tender memories that you left
To have known you has been my privelage
And i look forward to meeting you once more
For this is not good bye
It is SEE YOU LATER

Dont be afraid to reply if you want to know more about her i would be happy to tell you

I love your poem. From what I collect, your dog died? If so, I'm sorry, but you're right you will see her again. I once had a dog named Hershey (I was kinda a fat kid when I first got her :D) but sadly, we didn't have her very long. I miss her, but soon enough I'll see her again. I just know it. What type of dog was she?

She was the runt of the litter. Got her at a rescue center when i was three. There is a pic in the General Furry Discussion thread under WHY. I wrote this after she was killed. She was deliberatly hit by a vehicle :'(. I wont go into details but there wasnt enough to bury her. All i have left are photos and her broken collar.

Im crying again :'( :-[
Forever missed but never forgotten for it is the memories she left that made an imprint on my life.

Some people in this world are just inconsiderate and have no souls. I really wish your dog and that driver would've switched places at the last second. But keep your head up. Life goes on and you'll see you dog again. I don't really know what to say, except that people are idiots and most don't even care about an of God's creatures. I swear sometimes I really am ashamed to be human. :'(  Why can't we all exercise PLUR?

It is so sad when one you love is taken by someone who cares
nothing for life.

I found this poem about a loved pet some years back that you might like.

I got to the gate of Heaven yesterday after we said goodbye.
I began to miss you terribly, because I heard you cry.
Suddenly there was an Angel and she asked me to enter Heaven's gate.
I asked if I could stay outside for someone who'd be late.
I wouldn't make much noise you see; I wouldn't bark or howl.
I'll only wait here patiently and play with my tennis ball.
The Angel said I could stay right here and wait for you to come
Because Heaven just wouldn't be Heaven if I went So I'll wait;
you take your time, but keep me in your heart.
Because Heaven just wouldn't be Heaven without you to warm my heart.

That was a sweet poem. I was randomly going through the art thing and saw poems. I had to read this or I'd feel bad. I'm glad I did though. My dog was killed in 2008, antifreeze, and it was some random person, we still don't know who did it, but we do know it took over three freaking days to pass. My dog was the nicest dog you'd ever meet. I don't normally read poems, but these are really cute and nice, and I'm sorry for you. :'(
