What age did you get your first cell phone (if you have one), and what model was it?  Post a picture here!

Mine was that green color, too.

Got it in... 2005 maybe? Or 2004? Used it all the way until this past August/September. Never saw a point in upgrading until I could get a smartphone.

Darned thing was tiny and indestructible.  I still have it in a box somewhere around here.

Looks pretty similar in size to the one I had. Did it have a color screen, or is it older than that?

Thought about one, but since I can't drive I decided it
wasn't worth the extra expense. Besides I never cared
much for talking on a telephone, much less answering
one.   :D

I got mine when I was 11, because I was always going to be the first one home when I got back from school. At that point, my parents usually didn't get home from work until around 7:00 PM and my brother and sisters were still in school at this point.

It was a Nokia brick. I literally chucked it against a concrete wall and there wasn't a scratch on it.

That Nokia was a great phone.  You could order an extended battery for it that extended standby time to over a week! :)

wow i had one of those nokias, i used to play space invaders all day, i remember i dropped it once,...it bounced, still have it somewhere. i hav always wanted one of thos big half foot long ones from the 80s
