The card determines pretty much nothing... I was thinking, though that you would be the one who was went back and T-Yoshi and I would play characters you meet on your journey/quest giving to get back... Unless you'd rather it be something different...

Alright, I figure I should post at least a few of mine...
Name: Aurora Silva
Species: Grey Wolf
Gender: female

Physical appearance(markings, colors, etc): silver-ish white with deep blue eyes. Blue stripes running from between her ears, down the back of her neck, over her shoulders, and down her chest. Long black hair coming down to her mid-back.
Clothing/armor: typically wears a very well fit suit of leather armor with tungsten plates, fairly low cut on the front, with a blue and silver cape over. Also wears a very finely wrought tungsten crown/tiara, showing her role as Princess of Lupirnen.
Personality:
Weapons: wields a repeating crossbow and a specially forged short sword, made custom as not only a weapon, but a status symbol; the blade is made from an extremely leightweight, magic infused steel with a blue-ish color. The crossguard is ornately carved silver plated tungsten, and the pommel is a tungsten dragon coiled around a large ruby.
Magic/abilities: decent with general magic use, but is one of the few who can manipulate time; though it is fairly developed, her manipulation does tend to have its... Glitches.
Other: the daughter of Prowl Silva

Species: grey wolf

Physical appearance(markings, colors, etc): solid white with silver eyes. Black nose and hand/foot pads. Black, shoulder-length hair with ice-blue tips. Athletic build and sharp facial features, lending a predatory beauty.
Clothing/armor: heavy, tungsten battle armor designed much like a knight's, though clearly marks her as royalty.
Both pauldrons are gold plated, as are her greaves and many accent areas. Wears this armor over a well tailored white tunic, leggings, and high leather riding boots. Wears a gold-plated tungsten crown with rubies set into it.
Personality: cold and distant from those she doesn't know well. Very loyal to and protective of her family. Has some bouts of paranoia from past problems.
Weapons: wields a black short sword called "Daern" or death. The crossguard and pommel are carved silver in the shape of wolf skulls and are accented with gold. The black blade has an oilspill type rainbow quality to it. Also wields a longbow which generates arrows with magical energy.
Magic/abilities: fairly advanced in most magics, but very much advanced in ice/frost magic.

Physical appearance(markings, colors, etc): light, off-white/cream color with pale green eyes. Hands, feet, and take are pale green fading into her primary cream color. Has a pair of Luna moth wings scaled to her body.
Clothing/armor: thin luminescent armor, made from a strangely strong metal. Off-white with pale green accents. Also has some specially made tunics, leggings, and a pair of shoes; plus, one nice dress, also luminescent.
Personality: mostly under development. Don't call her cute or anything along those lines, though.
Weapons: wields a razor thin and sharp, luminescent blade, made from some strange metal.
Magic/abilities: very fast, but otherwise, none.

Clothing/armor:Armor is ionised polymer to create a form of hard light armor. The armor itself is made up of special wire that tightens when hits are taken to either close a wound or keep you in the fight long enough to not take any more. The main armour is black/grey and the hard light panels had a low glow of blue. The hard light panels only cover the torso, upper arms, knuckles, and only the fronts of the legs. Turning off the hard light panels makes the word loosen and it becomes his regular outfit. Has a battery pack for the hard light panels, carries one extra but not enough for extended periods of time.
Personality: I'll develop it as we go.
Weapons: a long range, tight spread iron shrapnel shotgun. And a hard light full auto pistol. He carries ammo for both in several packs, but there isn't enough for extended periods of time.
Magic/abilities: A very limited range attack from the palm that shoots concentrated shards of light like a shotgun. Unfortunately this can kill him if he's already wounded or near death. It can also make him very tired if he uses it in good health. He learning to use it as single projectiles for less pain for himself.

Clothing/armor: Obviously not wearing the clothes in his ref for this. Instead he wears light leather armour chest piece which is segmented to allow better breathing and movement. Simple one-piece pauldrons, leather armour on the thighs of regular pants, and leather covers over boots. Under the leather armour top he has a half sleeve shirt. All the leather is grey with gold accents on certain edges. For example the edges of the pauldrons and things like that. His regular shirt is a bland blue colour, and his pants are as well.
Personality: it will develop over time for the rp.
Weapons: He carries a lance. The base is made of the strongest wood available, and is carved elegantly with gold design of unknown meaning. But it is tribal. The top is tipped with a steel Spiral point. The bottom is capped with a point that's dull and made to set it in the ground, but could also inflict considerable damage.
Magic/abilities: His speed and agility are far better than most, and his main magic abilities are tied to his lance. He can extend the range he can inflict damage with his lance far further then it's physical form can. Being that the end extends into a cyclone of pure energy, or a large sweeping blade.
Other: Advertises himself as a guard for caravans. He could very much be used as a mercenary for hire if the price was right.

Physical appearance(markings, colors, etc): Gray base fur with white on his abs and the black raccoon mask and rings on his tail which is unusually long for a raccoon, skinny build with some muscle, bright blue tribals on the left side of his face, torso, and left arm, Emerald green eyes, wolfish teeth.
Clothing/armor: Dark green traveler's pants, brown boots with silver buckles, green vest which is open to his chest and stomach, and leather gauntlets.
Personality: Can seem hot-headed and arrogant but he's a good guy at his core, kind and willing to listen.
Weapons: Twin swords with jade inlays and silver in the hilts with lightweight metal for the business part of said swords.
Magic/abilities: Harnesses the power of ice to fire projectiles or create shields.
Other: He is Faye's Childhood friend and was a small time thief in his youth.

Personality: Genuine but with a no-nonsense attitude, not afraid to tell someone when they're wrong or could do better.
Weapons: A few carving knives for throwing, a crossbow, and a detachable bayonet for it which can be used as a makeshift knife.
Magic/abilities: Can enchant her crossbow bolts with electricity.

Clothing/armor: Brown tunic with pale colored pants, Wears a simple wooden chestplate with a thin layer of lightweight metal underneath it, also has a deep blue and lavender cloak.
Personality: Kind and understanding but is strong-willed and independent. Tries to see the good in anyone she meets.
Weapons: A pearl battle dagger, the hilt is adorned with some pretty shells.
Magic/abilities: Strong harness of water magic, often attacks with a water whip, can fire projectiles, shield herself, and move faster with said magic.

Name: Alistar Lancer
Species: Panther

Physical appearance(markings, colors, etc): Typical black coat for a panther with striking purple eyes that seem to glimmer from time to time, almost like amethysts, has a fair amount of muscle for someone of his field.
Clothing/armor: Wears a deep gray shirt with white vest and cape with dark blue pants with various star symbols painted on them.
Personality: He is rather gentlemanly and smooth, always seems very calm no matter how grim the odds may seem...almost eerily calm at times.
Weapons: A pair of gauntlets constructed of hard bronze that allow for easy movement of the fingers but enhance the power of his punches.
Magic/abilities: An enchanted deck of tarot cards that when tossed at an enemy can unleash a variety of effects from lightning or fire to temporarily blinding his opponent.
Other: Alistar is the local fortune teller.

Species: Tiger

Physical appearance(markings, colors, etc): Standard orange coat with black stripes, has long blonde hair and brown eyes like an oak tree, normal build.
Clothing/armor: Very ornate, short red dress with a matching red cape decorated with various far east designs on the back. Also wears a gold circlet with jade gems indicating her as a baroness.
Personality: Smart, witty, and inquisitive. Loves to know everything possible about anyone she meets, almost sees it as a sort of game.
Weapons: a long one handed sword with an deep gray blade and a red hilt called "Falori"
Magic/abilities: Only knows one single spell...how to conjure a stream of fire from her free hand.
Other: Is the Baroness of Lupimen (If alright by Sledge)
Name: Emily Perel
Species: Chinese Water Deer
Gender: Female

Physical appearance(markings, colors, etc): Standard coat for a Chinese water deer, has shorter front teeth than a usual Chinese water deer, brown eyes like fine chocolate, skinny build.
Clothing/armor: Long sleeved cream colored short tunic where the sleeves fade into light pink, white cloak, pointed hat, and boots.
Personality: Is rather quiet but when she speaks they are rather wise words. Very concise and to the point.
Weapons: An ornate ritual dagger which may seem more for show with it's silver blade and bronze hilt but is effective in battle when needed.
Magic/abilities: General use magic from elements for attack to armor warding upon herself or others.
Other: Is the mate of Trish Carlotta.

Alright. Looks like we're ready, no? Yes, I'm fine with the whole baroness thing. Are any of your characters available for Ariana to be a companion of?
For everyone's info, they will be trying to get to the princess to see if she can send Kodoku back to the fiture, so to speak. The problem is, they won't be starting in Lupirnen, and Lupirnen is in the middle of a civil war. Aurora would be heavily guarded under normal, peace-time circumstances... The war will mean even heavier guard and even less that Prowl would trust them. This is the challenge after he proves to them he's from the future.

Makes sense. Either they're both away from home, or Ariana is... We need to kinda have him meet everyone along the way, instead of everyone all at once as soon as he reaches the castle...

Ok, well, I say Ariana leaves home to father some things for Emily, meets up with Blades and his group, then Kodoku gets sent back in time and meets up with them... Or, Ariana leaves home and is gathering stuff, then Kodoku gets sent back, and they meet Blades' group on the return trip... Just to clarify, we're going with the baronesses' home being a ways away from the actual capital city of Lupirnen, for the sake of the story.

Oh. I was actually thinking on that he was a highly trained civilian for like a prototype time travel thing. It breaks when he gets sent back it breaks. So he's got some weapon training and whatnot. But isn't a soldier per say. Does that make sense?

I think I can work with that, though it won't break, Per se... He's never actually fought anyone, though.

"Wake up!" Ariana shouted, jumping on Emily's chest; she didn't weigh hardly anything, though, so it was a bit like someone simply nudging her. "Gods, I swear you furs can sleep forever!"

Aurora paused time for a moment and walked out of her room, past the platoon of soldiers stationed there, then out into the streets of her city. She took off running, taking random turns; a left here, a right there... Then, she realized she was completely lost she let time resume and looked around to try and get her bearings. She noticed a fortune teller's shop and sat down on the front steps, hopelessly lost, and slowed a butterfly as it passed.

Kodoku simply nodded and did some checks of his own. Making sure the hard light panels all worked, and making sure he had everything. He had packed an extra bit ammo for his sidearm just in case it went really wrong somehow. After his own little checks he looked to the tech and waited for him.

Emily suddenly sat up and awoken "Yeah yeah, Ariana. i'm up...you know magic can take a fair bit out of you." She picked up Ariana and put her on the nightstand and stood up. Emily threw on her pointed hat and cape over her tunic. she sat on the bed and began lacing up her boots "So...why in such a hurry today?"
Alistar saw little Aurora sitting on the steps of his shop. "Hmmm..." he thought to himself, swishing his tail as he walked to the door. He opened the door "What's a royal like you doing here?" asking in his smooth, southern accent.

"I'm always in a hurry." Ariana said, crossing her arms and tapping her foot impatiently; her foot sounded about like someone tapping a finger on the nightstand. "Besides, runeberries." She licked her lips. "They just so happen to be ripe today, and you know they're only good for picking one day a year. I figure we could get some things for you as well..."

Aurora jumped to fight or flight mode, instantly going into fight, as he startled her. She slowed time to seem quicker, stood, and drew her blade as she spun, bringing the tip up to about chest height. "Lunith kyren die nuro!" She was speaking ancient War Wolf, a language very few knew fluidly. This fact didnt escape her for long. "Sorry. I dare not translate that..." She sheathed her blade and held out a hand. "I'm ditching the army of guards for a moment. I'd tell you my name, but since you live here... You probably already know it..."

"Quick checklist..." The tech said, looking over a clipboard. "Primary energy cell? Backup energy cells? Time manipulation system?"

Even though he knew they were there Kodoku replied with "check" to each after making sure they were there. He did even another check once more to be absolutely sure. It was a prototype so anything could essentially go wrong.

"Okay, okay we'll go and get all these things...Just keep your voice down, wouldn't wanna wake Baroness Carlotta." Emily answered quietly. The baroness was in her single bed just a few steps away. "C'mon, let's get going Ariana."
Alistar nodded "Oh course i'd recognize the Princess Aurora Silva," He did some fancy shuffles with his tarot cards, showing off a bit "Now, if you know me...that's a whole 'nother question sweet thing...Do you know me?"

Ariana flew up to Emily's shoulder and sat down, her tiny fingers hooking into Emily's fur to stabilize the small mouse. "She can't hear me over there anyways." It wasn't inconcievable; while Ariana's voice was t high-pitched, it wasn't loud either, even when yelling. She simply wasn't big enough to be extremely loud.

"No... Should I?" Aurora asked, her hand not leaving the pommel of her sword, even though it was sheathed; doubtless she was very highly trained, being the daughter of a warrior queen and all. She attempted to rewind time to see Alistair's shuffle again, but ended up speeding up the next few seconds. Her eyes grew wide as she realized she'd probably missed whatever he had said in return.

"Ok, let's start off slow." The tech said. "For now, slow time and move over there." (Sorry if this is a bit boring right now. I have to delay a bit so we time his arrival just right.)

Prowl stepped into her pavilion off of the battlefield, her armor coated in gore and mud. They were just outside of the capital city, fighting an army of rebels. So far, it was a nasty battle that could go either way. She had been leading them up until a few minutes ago, when she had used up a large amount of energy in an attempt to turn the neutral battle in their favor. Now, she needed to rest. She sat down on her cot and essentially fell over onto her side, quickly drifting off to sleep.
Outside, Merchry was flying from soldier to soldier, a deadly streak of silver. Wherever he went, a trail of dead soldiers followed; he was too fast for their blades. Nigh unstoppable.

Kodoku chuckled some and activated the slow time effect on the suit and moved to the area. "Starting slow..." He chuckled again as he resumed the normal speed of time as he got there. "How's that look? Felt about normal to me." He asked the tech even if he didn't get the best look.

"Good to know," Emily answered. she picked up her broomstick and began to head towards the ground floor of the Carlotta manor. "I'm guessing you'll wanna start with your precious runeberries. I'll be sure to bring a big, big bag." Emily grabbed a piece of parchment and a quill and wrote down a note for Trish "Alright Ariana, let's go."
"I just thought since you were royal and all that you knew most of your kingdom's subjects." Alistar answered. "Or...have I never been mentioned by your mother or advisor? Wouldn't surprise me seeing I haven't been here all that long...I'm used to leading my life like a gypsy, first time I ever really put down any roots."

"What? It's hard to beat runeberries." Ariana said. "Despite the fact they're as big as my head..."

"Um..." Aurora muttered. "I'm sorry, but... Did you give your name? I think I missed it..."

"Alright, now the pause time function." The tech said, checking something off on the clipboard. "And move back to the other side."

Pausing time like the tech said, Kodoku went to the other side of the room. He stopped and instead of unpausing he decided to go to his locker and grab his sandwich and eat it. Only after he made sure there weren't any traces of food did he go back and let time go again. "Alright that's done." He had slight smile on as he said it.

"Well not to worry my fine friend, you'll be swimming in them before you know it." Emily said as she got the broom out of the kitchen closet. "Now hold on, things may get bumpy,"
"I don't believe I did...I'm the grand master of fortune Alistar." he said doing a rather fancy bow. "Always an honor to meet a royal..."

"Duh." Ariana said. "I've ridden with you how many times?"

"Aurora smiled and bowed her head slightly in return. "I believe my mother has mentioned you... Not in detail though, obviously; I didn't recognize you... She is very busy, though... The rebels aren't making life easy. Nice to meet you."

"Now the harder stuff." The tech said, hitting him without warning. "Now reverse time and dodge that; you'll know it's coming this time." (This is where it's going to go bad, so leave it open ended.)

Kodoku took the punch unfortunately and rubbed where he was hit. As soon as he told him he went and set himself to the back in time option...

"Eh, I lost track after about fifty times." Emily answered. She stepped outside and mounted her broomstick, giving it a little spur like a rider would a horse. "And...off we go!" And with a flash the two were up in the air. The view from up above made everything seem quite small...almost Ariana's size.
"I'm sure you're mother's a very busy woman these days um...Aurora was it?" Alistar asked.

As Kodoku attempted to reverse time, a massive overload in the building's system caused the whole building to black out; not only that, but the jolt traveled through the steel floor and into Kodoku's suit, giving it much more power than it was ever intended to handle. This, plus the fact that he was reversing time when it occurred, sent him back much farther than the techs would have ever thought possible and, due to the fact he was on the N-teenth floor of the building, he was sent back to the same spot in the past. Right in front of Emily and Ariana. Ariana just had enough time to take in the view before they were struck. She let out a squeak and went tumbling away, shocked out of remembering how to fly for the moment.

"Yeah..." Aurora said. "Aurora Silva... I suppose you probably saw me coming from a mile away the first time my mom met you, huh? Even before I was born..."

As Kodoku crashed into them it also sent Emily into a bit of a tailspin. She nearly lost her balance, but managed to stay afloat but soon noticed that Ariana was not on her shoulder like usual "Ariana, whare are you?!?"
"Why yes, I do remember seeing something about that...a royal birth mostly, I can be a bit foggy on the details from time to time." Alistar answered. "Your mother is a very strong woman, i'm sure everything's gonna work out. Probably in my here cards it'll say that."

Kodoku noticed the surge too late before he was sent back into time. When he came out in the past he immediately was ran into which was great. Even better though was the fall after, he had been pretty high up in the building and there was no building here. He fell however far and the landing knocked the breath out of him and probably broke something. Or several something's.

Ariana managed to catch herself just in time and hover a few inches off of the ground. She let out a sigh of relief and started looking around for Emily. Once she spotted her, she flew as fast a she could back to her. She landed on the tip of Emily's broomstick, panting slightly. "What was that? It looked fur-shaped... Should we uh... Go check?"
Kodoku's suit readout showed no broken bones, though it was probably due to the fact that he had landed in a bush; a runeberry bush to be more precise.

"Maybe." Aurora said. "How do you predict someone's future is everything is constantly changing? I mean h-" she swayed a bit, becoming suddenly dizzy as Kodoku tore the fabric of space-time. "Woah..." She sat down on the steps again, a hand to her temple.

Kodoku groaned and looked through his readouts. "Nothing broken? Ugh. Alright then." He said getting himself out of the bush slowly. He laid on his back once he fell out of the bush and groaned some. "Great that was..." He got himself up and looked at his suit now to make sure nothing was broken.

Alistar sat down on the same step and gave her a pat on the back. "Hey...you alright little one?" suddenly his eyes went wide as he sensed something amiss "Something's not right little one..." he picked her up, took her inside, and laid her down on a chaise lounge. It was a rather fancy looking room with red curtains and various constellations painted on the ceiling. "Rest child...something tells me none of us are safe...and won't be for a while."
Emily nodded as Ariana landed on the tip of her broom. "Yeah...let us have a look mine fine friend." as they flew down. As they flew down they noticed a small party of travelers had notice Kodoku crashing in the bush. There was a raccoon, an African lioness, and a river otter.

Kodoku's system read no damages, but he was 1% on his current energy pack, and the others were scattered around, along with his weapons and spare ammo. One of the spare energy packs had cracked and lost its power, but his gear was otherwise unharmed.
As they neared, Ariana drew her sword and dove off the front of Emily's broom, sword point down. She brought herself to a stop in front of Kodoku, leveling her blade with his nose. "What is your problem? You know you nearly killed me up there?"

"No... It's not that." Aurora said. "I have a very specific set of powers... I'm really in tune with the cloth that is time... Something just messed with it... I'm not talking just rewinding time either... Something tore a huge hole in it."
By this time, the guards and any spare soldiers had spread out over the city, searching for Aurora. A small platoon marched past the front of Alistar's place, one soldier branching off at each house. One marched up the steps to the front of his house and knocked heavily on the door with his tungsten plated gauntlet.
As well as the soldiers, a strangely patterned Doberman was outside, only her muzzle and startlingly solid white eyes visible under her hood. She was simply standing across the street, watching the front of his house, a rather large scythe across her back.

Still on the ground found himself moving his nose from sword point. Albeit a small sword he didn't really move to get up. "Hey. Hey. No. I didn't know I hit anyone. I time travelled and then felt like I hit a wall, then was in a bush... So. No. Again." He got now avoiding the little blade pointed at him, and getting to finding his equipment. One battery was pretty much over the hud was failing to prove it before it went out. Then there was the other battery that was obviously not going to work either. "Great..." He said gathering whatever else he could. His shotgun and his handgun, and all the ammo he could find for it. He looked for batteries again but gave in once looking didn't yield better results than broken or dead. "Yet again. Great. No armour or working systems. Or time travel back!" He yelled stopping suddenly to look around. "What... What time is this anyway?"

Emily had just come down from the skies and grabbed her broomstick, walking over to Kodoku "Wherever you're from...you certainly came into a rough time buddy boy..." she said as she picked Ariana up and placed her on her shoulder "Keep an eye Ariana..." she whispered to her "Those weapons...look beyond anything I've ever seen."
Meanwhile the small group of travelers led by the raccoon had came up weapons drawn "Nobody move! We have no idea who this furson is...who knows what form of witchcraft his weapons and armor are..."
"I know hat you mean young one..." Alistar answered. "My talents in fortune-telling give me a sense for the delicate threads of time...The moment my eyes widened...I knew something's amiss."

"Woah, woah, woah...." Ariana shook her head. "First off, you, there's no such thing as time travel. Secondly, you other guys, be quiet and stay those weapons. You're in the presence of a baroness. Not to mention the witchcraft thing is kinda rude. she just happens to be a witch. And thirdly, back to you with the strange... Flickering armor, what the heck kind of magic were you working to fly that quickly? We didn't even see you."

Aurora nodded, then jumped as the soldier pounded on the door again. "You'd probably better answer that. Sounds urgent, whomever it is."

Kodoku had to spin about a few times to see everyone talking when they did. He was rather surrounded If he decided on trying anything. But a few things seemed settled by this so called baroness so he felt speaking would get him a bit farther here this time. "Maybe not in your time. But in the future time travel is possible. That is how I got here. Whether you believe it or not." He made a rather obvious guess in his head to the time, though knowing didn't really change anything. He did check his shotgun to make sure it had shells ready just in case.

The raccoon sneered "Wasn't talking about you...I meant the the ummm....knight I suppose in the glowing armor. He darted out of the sky like a cannonball." he pushed the river otter and lioness behind him, in a protective way. "Be careful you two, no telling what'll happen."
"Relax a little Ariana...i'm used to that by now. Although let me state i'm no typical witch, obviously not a blemish on my pretty face." Emily answered.
"Alright...just relax a bit child, you're gonna need to rest up a bit." Alistar answered as he stood up. He answered the door opening it slowly "Fine day to you, now what's the problem?"

"Whatever, you with the shiny armor, just... Little?!" Ariana whirled around to face Emily. "Why would you... You know how I feel about that!" In her anger, she not only managed to make herself look not very threatening, but also made herself look fairly cute; a bit like a butterfly getting angry.

"We are looking for the princess Aurora Silva." The guard said, rather unhappily. "It has come to our attention that her guardian platoon completely lost her this morning. We are checking with friends of the queen, as she may have come to one of you."
The strangely marked Doberman moved to the same side of the street, seemingly unnoticed by anyone else; anyone walking by simply passed by her.

Kodoku had relaxed at least a little since they seemed to be more fighting each other than anything. He was debating wasting a shell just to get their attention back. He looked around and looked over the weaponry they all had. Well whenever it was magic seemed more prevalent these days. Finally he gave up for the time being on telling anyone that it wasn't magic. "It was magic that went wrong! Alright? It failed and I ended up teleporting right into you two... So. Now you know." He felt this would go wrong rather quickly. Either the others would attack him, or he further made it more difficult to convince that it wasn't magic.

"Cut it out Ariana...you're starting to look that certain word that begins with C that you don't like." Emily answered with a giggle. "Just calm yourself, we'll figure out who all these people are." she looked to Kodoku "You, traveler in the glowing armor. What province do you hail from? Or are you from somewhere across the ocean?"
The raccoon looked at the little anthro, trying to stop himself from laughing but couldn't help but giggle a little. The lioness put a hand on his shoulder "Blades...focus. We won't make it to Lupemarron at this rate. We need water, Leilani's very tried we gotta get there soon."
Alistar nodded "Of course sir, she stopped by here but then she sensed some weird rip in time and is resting. I can confirm the story seeing I sensed it as well to a lesser degree."

"Fine." Ariana shot a glare at Blades and returned to Emily's shoulder. "But I swear to Lunith I will fork that serpent's tongue of yours if you say it."

"Good. It's good to know she's safe. There are those who would see her dead... I will call the others; we will wait outside here if you don't mi-"
The Doberman stepped forward and grasped the guard by the shoulder, the guard collapsing as he spoke. After a moment, the Doberman turned and started to walk away, the faint outline of skeletal wings in the air behind her.

Kodoku looked around for a moment and clenched his teeth. "Province? I Uhm..." He tried to think of one couldn't and just shrugged instead. "I don't know." He said finally settling on an answer. He didn't know what else to say about it at this point. "I travel a lot..." He said saying something to get it over with.

Alistar slammed the door shut at the guard falling dead, a twang of worry entered him as his heart began to beast a little faster than usual "That's not good..." he could someone sense the Doberman but was unable to hone on anything specific about the dark premonition. He quickly returned to Aurora's side "Princess Aurora...we need to get to your mother. Something's not right."
Emily waited for Ariana to hop back on her shoulder "Alright, anyways Ari you may wanna grab some runeberries now while you got the chance. Might be a while for this opportunity crops up again."
Blades looked to Leilani leaning on his side now and Faye looking onward "Right...wherever you're from...would you happen to be on your way to Lupemarron any of you? We been on the road for days."

Ariana jumped down from Emily's shoulder and started cutting clusters of berries from the smashed bush. "You crushed them, you shiny armored oaf!" Even though she shouted, her voice was tough to hear; surprisingly not extremely high pitched. "And as for you travelers, we live kinda out that way..." (I assume you meant Lupirnen?)

"That would probably be a bad idea." Aurora said. "She's out on the battlefield... Not to mention i can defend myself quite well... I take it whomever it was at the door wasn't a friend?"

Kodoku looked to Ariana. "You say that as if I wanted to land on them." He said wondering whether he should join them or not to wherever. He wasn't getting back with no batteries and obviously time travel is magic. In a way he did know some magic, but not really the same thing as they probably though of it. Then he got back to Lupenren? Luperir? Something. "I wasn't but... If that's the closest place to here. I'd join you."

Blades nodded "Alright, maybe it wouldn't hurt to travel together for the time being. After all, these are some rather dangerous times with the civil war and all." he looked over to Kodoku "Maybe Queen Prowl can help this um...fur here." Faye nodded at his statement "Alright, let's get going then Blades...maybe we can finally rest then." Leilani answered.
"Ariana, pick the runeberry bush clean and then we'll head back. Surely we can stop at Baroness Carlotta's manor along the way." Emily said
"Well..." Alistar answered. "It was a guard but he just...just...just dropped deaf for some reason and I got a bad feeling about it. I sense something dark nearby. Princess Aurora you best stick close to me."

"Yeah, yeah..." Ariana muttered, cutting off the last bundle of runeberries. "Just start bagging these berries."

"Just dropped dead?" Aurora asked, standing. "Must've been his time, then... Right?"

Kodoku watched as the one group started to leave off towards this place. He waited though figuring the two that he ran into were better to stick around. Considering the one didn't try to stab him or something yet. He stopped a little ways from her but did wait so they could all get going together. "Sorry for running into you lot."

Blades looked as Emily set out with Ariana with the sack full of runeberrys. He saw his friends were tired and that perhaps sticking with a local might not be so bad. "Wait up Miss...we'll go with you. We are kind of tried and need some rest...not easy to find a place to rest with all this war and whatnot."
"I suppose but...something's just wrong Aurora." Alistar answered. he peered out a window and shut the curtains quickly "You need to be kept safe, from here on out consider me your personal bodyguard."

"Make it quick then." Ariana said. "We wouldn't want to run into any rebels."

"I could just pause time and slip past you like I did my guards." Aurora said. "They don't think I can defend myself either."

Kodoku overheard well, pretty much everything. He was learning a little about what was going on though nothing to really tell him when he was. He just walked with everyone otherwise and looked all around, it was hard to think this was where he was not too long ago... Or a really long time from now. Something.

"Right" Emily answered "we can also stick to the back roads if need be, takes longer but in theory would be safer." She began to head down the path, Ariana on her shoulder, Blades and group following close behind her. She looked at Kodoku "Hey...you coming? You might find an answer or two if you come with."
"I understand...i'm just concerned is all. wouldn't want the daughter of Queen Prowl to go missing in my company is all..." Alistar answered, looking out the window. "...lest I incur the receiving end of her wrath..."

Ariana stood and flitted over to Kodoku's shoulder, then landed. "Do you not have a blade or anything? Just magic?"

"I understand. Seems like anymore that's the only thing I can get from her, though." Aurora sighed and sat back down, then drew her blade and started running a sharpening stone over its edge. "Since these rebels attacked, that is."

Kodoku looked to Emily and then nodded catching up and walking with them. Ariana. The one who had put a blade to him and pretty much denied his whole story, sat on his shoulder. He was rather surprised by her question and yet not. She obviously didn't think time travel was possible so guns were just magic. "Well in my ti- uh. Where I'm from it's quite common to use these. Magic tools." It was weird saying it that way but of course that's what it took to get anywhere at the moment.

"Magic...tools? Interesting, never heard much about those." Emily answered as she continued along the trail.
Leilani looked at Kodoku "Magic tools? Do you mean like alchemy?" she asked curiously.
"Well Aurora...whatever you wanna do, i'll follow you. We can stay here, head to the castle...your call." Alistar answered. "Whatever you decide, i'll respect and do my utmost to keep you safe."

"So, your armor? That too is magic?" Ariana asked, sitting. "It kinda reminds me of mine... All glow-y and such... Where did you say you're from again?"

"I suppose I'd probably better check in with my ... Babysitters." Aurora said, standing and sheathing her sword. If I could see the castle above the houses here, I could navigate back on my own... As it is, I actually managed to get lost."

"Ma'am." A guard knocked against the center post supporting the doorway to Prowl's pavilion, waking her from her quick rest. "There's a mercenary here to see you."
"Send him in and ready my mount. I get done here, we're returning to battle." Prowl stood and started wiping off what blood and mud wasn't dried on to her armor.
"Yes, ma'am." The guard waved the Tharsus in. "The platoon will await your commands."

Kodoku looked to Emily and then Ariana. "Well. Uh. I guess you could call it alchemy." He said looking to answers pretty much all of their questions about his armour and weapons with he didn't really know. Then of course there was where he was from. "Here. I'm from... Well where I ran into you." He was seriously getting tired of lying especially when there was a difference between magic and science. Although it could be looked at that way.
Tharsus moved through to where the guard waved him to. He was a little unsure of the whole working for royalty thing, but it payed pretty well so he didn't mind so much. He walked over to a respectable distance from her his staff clinking as he went since he used it like a walking stick. He kneeled for a moment and then stood again and looked her over. "Quite specific job you have. Am I to learn what all I'm doing now?" He asked since he was invited before with no information.

"Alright, I would have guess armor enchanting perhaps but if it's alchemy then it's alchemy." Emily answered. "C'mon everyone, Baroness Carlotta has rooms to accommodate all of us."
Blades looked at Emily in surprise "Baroness Carlotta? You work for her?" "Yes, not to mention I am also her mate." she answered to him, looking at the trail ahead "Alright, just a few miles down the road. Then we can all have a hot meal and warm beds to nap in...not to mention maybe sort some of all this out."
Alistar looked at Aurora "We could always stick around here for a little while. But if you wish to check in with them, I'd be more than happy to escort you." Alistar was shuffling his deck of tarot cards while he talked as if it were second nature.

"She's real proud of the fact that she has a mate, and it just happens to be the baroness." Ariana explained to Kodoku. "They love eachother, too. I know by how hard it is to sleep sometimes."
"I'd ask you to read my future, but I'm afraid I tamper with time too much for you to get a good read." Aurora said, humming a strange song as she moved to the door. "We'd best check in with my guards."
"Yes... To a degree." Prowl said, cleaning her armor. "You are for hire, correct? That means the rebels out there could have bought your services instead of me doing so. For right now, I will pay 50 gold per day for you to protect a very important person. My daughter. She has been slipping away from her guard squad as of late... You will go into the city, find her, and speak this phrase: Ver Lupireth syne ve. She will understand."
(Alright, money system: 10 coppers = 1 silver. 10 silvers = 1 gold. Most transactions are in coppers. Ex: leather gloves cost 2 coppers.)

Kodoku didn't really need a bed or anything right now. He wanted to get back to his own time instead. The dang suit worked a little too well. "Let's call it that then." He replied as she settled on letting it be alchemy. Then of course there was the info of the baroness and her friend he didn't need to know. "That's wonderful... Glad they are holding a good relationship." He said trying not to sound rude about it. Hearing that it wasn't far now he picked up the pace just a little bit. He wanted to find some actual help, if anyone actually believed in time travel...
Tharsus kept a rather apathetic look. Even as fifty gold a day was mentioned. "Yeah. Anyone with some kind of coin could have their freedom guaranteed if they pointed me towards the right furson to silence." He leaned off and on his lance for a moment as if he was thinking. "Well. I'm here, and the job's got coin... So yeah. Deal." He stood up straight again and readied to leave. "Where would suggest looking?"

"C'mon Ariana. Barely know the guy for five minutes and you start tossing our personal dirt at him?" Emily retorted to her, seeming a bit apologetic to Kodoku. She wiped her brow quickly. "Forgive her...she can be a bit...ummm...loose-lipped from time to time. Anyways, Baroness Carlotta might be able to get you in with Queen Prowl. She might know what's going on with all this...could also try consulting Alistar about this."
Blades and Faye walked with the group holding hands, Leilani close by them. "First Emily and the Baroness, now you two?" Blades looked at Leilani with a smile "Yeah....maybe not to that um...level but yeah, we like each other." He put his free hand on her shoulder "Now c'mon...we'll get you some water and a little time to rest. You'll feel better."
"Alrighty then Princess Aurora, you lead the way." Alistar still got a bad feeling about leaving the shop. He quickly drew a few cards, looking them over for their attributes. "Alright...will work in a pinch..." he said placing them on the top of his deck.

Ariana stuck her tongue out at Emily and grinned. "I like to tease them, too... Get my justice, if you will."
Aurora frowned and shook her head. "I don't know the way back..." By her tone of voice, it was obvious she was quite embarrassed by this fact.
"Check at the castle first." Prowl said. "If she is not there, ask her guards if they've seen her. I'm paying enough, you should be able to figure it out from there."

Kodoku nodded and waved as if it was okay. "It's alright. It wouldn't be the first time hearing that sort of thing." He said looking to Emily. "Who's Alistar?" He asked trying to get a good idea of what all went on in this time. Hopefully he didn't run into anyone crazy enough to kill him over being from the future. Which for some reason seemed like everyone so far.
Tharsus nodded. "Of course. A good start would be all I need." He looked around the room and then back to Prowl. "Well. I'll be on the way then." He said not turning to leave. "When might I see the first day's pay? And from whom?" He asked just before leaving.

"Oh, Alistar's a fortune teller. Usually he drifts about the world but recently he rooted down in the capital. Trust me, he ain't a quack I can sense it." Emily answered. After a while the Carlotta manor came into view. "Ah, here we are. She should be up and about by now."
Blades, Faye, and Leilani all smiled a bit at the sight of the manor "Warm beds, a good meal...all sounds so good right now..." Blades said. Faye smiled "Not the idetrip I expected to take but well worth it."
"Hey, fret not child. I been to the castle now and again." Alistar said trying to reassure her a bit. "Just stick with me and i'll get you there."

"Should I make sure she's decent?" Ariana asked, standing and flying over to Emily. "I know her almost as well as I do you..."
Aurora nodded and started walking in the direction she had come from, that being her best choice to start with. After a block or so, she started singing. "If I go crazy, then will you still call me superman? if I'm alive and well, will you be there a-holding my hand? I'll keep you by my side with my superhuman might. Kryptonite."
(Yes, this would imply she has travelled to modern times, be it accidentally or on purpose.)
"I will pay you myself, each night." Prowl replied. "I do not stay in the camp at night, not since a battle I fight when I was 19. That is a story for another time. i will be in the castle tonight, though. Now, go."

Kodoku listened as Emily explained who Alistar was. Though considering how things were going he could probably believe just about anything. Then of course warm beds were mentioned again among other things. It was hard to believe that this place would grow to be one of the largest cities around one day. At least from seeing it now.
Tharsus nodded and left simply enough after that. The castle was the first stop and hopefully the only stop. He didn't enjoy looking for the mark if he didn't have to. Pushing through crowds and walking casually when there was no one, he headed straight to the castle. Maybe he would clip a flag to his lance. Make it much easier to others that he was on business for Prowl. Surely then they wouldn't just stand there and expect explainations. Guards were bored though, so it was somewhat understandable.

"No need Ariana, i'm sure she's fine." Emily answered as they walked to the front door of the manor. Emily pulled out a key and opened the front door, letting the travelers in. "Hey Trish, i'm home...also have a guest or two." Trish came down in her usual red dress and attire. "You and all these guests hun...ah well, guess we have the guest rooms for a reason." Trish took them all to a large sitting room with a fireplace and many paintings "C'mon now, no need to be strangers. I'll get the servants to bring in water and food, i'm sure you're all famished and tired."
Alistar was a bit thrown off by the modern tune. All he ever got were scattered bits and pieces. How'd she know that kind of thing? Right, time powers... "I've never heard that tune before," he said as he continued to shuffle his tarot cards.

Ariana flew to the table and landed, taking her sword from her hip and hanging it on a potted flower. She jumped up and sat down on the edge of the pot. "I could use some water."
"I've only heard it once..." Aurora said. "Though I haven't been able to remake it. We don't have the right instruments yet. The ones we have just make it sound... Sad."
As Tharsus neared the castle, Aurora and Alistar a good ways behind him, several guards stepped into the path to Bloch his way, hands on their swords. Behind them, two other guards leveled their crossbows at him. "Halt! State your business."

Kodoku had to check the place out. It was fantastic, and he didn't expect something so big. He felt pretty comfortable actually, besides being in the wrong time, being considered crazy for knowing time travel was real, his equipment and armour not being magic, and well lots of things. He didn't really know where or what to do but everyone else looked pretty worn out...
Tharsus stopped and let his heavy lance land and show that he intended on staying. "Prowl. On her orders I'm here to find her daughter." He stared up at the crossbows and then back to the guards in front of him. "Don't believe me?" He said keeping a look of pure apathy.

Emily and Trish were seated on a loveseat as some of the few house servants came with water for them and the travelers. Blades drank a little and proceeded to take a little nap. Faye was on another couch, giving Leilani some water. "Feel better?" Faye asked. Leilani nodded "Yeah...I think so."
Trish looked at the rag-tag group. "Well...welcome to the Carlotta manor. You are all welcome to stay the night here I have plenty of room to accommodate all of you."
"I only get bits and pieces of the times ahead..." Alistar answered. "Though I've pulled a song or two...that can be remade sort of..." He seemed to hum a little beat "Well the sun in surely sinking down...But the moon is slowly risen'...And this old world keeps spinnin' round...and I still love you..." Alistar smiled a bit "Never found a woman to use that little serenade on however."

"Never been in a manor, huh?" Ariana asked, landing on Kodoku's shoulder again. "You might want to close your mouth before you catch a fly."
"No." One of the front guards shook his head. "In these times, anyone could be a rebel."
"Don't look at me, I'm only si-" she stopped when she noticed the guards had someone halted before the gate, then walked up to them with all the authority she had. "What's going on here? Is there a problem?"

Kodoku for just a moment longer looked the place over before finding a good seat. He found a simple wooden chair in the corner and relaxed. Then he acknowledged Ariana who yet again found his shoulder a good place to rest. "That. Or I might just snap you up." He said looking to her with a little smile. "That. Or I have not seen a building with a layout like this." He said covering the fact that truly he never had been in a manor.
Tharsus just about went to a little more aggressive way of making it obvious he was no rebel. But here came his target right up beside him. Smiling he looked her over and bowed just slightly to her. "Well. I did not think this would be so simple. I have to say." He walked up close to Aurora but kept good enough distance. "If I may..." He said movig again to close the rest of the gap to speak in her ear. "Ver Lupireth Syne Ve." He immediately backed up after speaking and then casually glanced at Alistar. Before looking back to Aurora for her reaction.

Emily merely laughed a little at Ariana and Kodoku "Well then I think you sir are in for quite the treat." she looked over at Trish "Okay everyone, after dinner, i'll have each of you escorted to your rooms for the night. Rest assured they are quite nice...nothing I wouldn't rest my head in." Trish said to the group.
Blades seemed to have stirred from his nap over hearing what the baroness said "Well we thank you kindly, never knew too much of the good and fancy life ourselves...but rooms worthy of a baroness..." he seemed to be off in his own little world for a second. Faye and Leilani both smiled hearing about the nice accommodations.
Alistar kept a little distance, looking at Tharsus. He drew a card ready to throw as it lightly pulsed with energy. "Princess...is everything alright?"

Ariana flew back to the table and grabbed her sword, belting it onto her hip once more. "Well, I believe I'll hit the bed now..." She flew to a small hole in the wall leading to the hollow area in between the inner and outer walls; she had set up several platforms and such as a small home inside the walls.
Aurora removed her hand from the hilt of her sword; she had placed it there when Tharsus had approached her. She raised her hand palm down and gave a sign for everyone to lower their weapons. "Yes... I suppose she would be the only one who would... I would guess you're a mercenary then? If so, I will have you know a few things, not the least of which is the fact that you will not give me orders."
(Rough translation: your queen sent me, or your queen sends me; something along those lines.)

Kodoku sighed and then almost immediately yawned. Obviously he was suddenly tired, which surprised him. Was it the time travel? Maybe. But he was tired and so he went to find his room for the night. Getting up he moved off to the end of where he was sitting and then stopped. "I have no idea where I'm going..." He said turning around to maybe see someone pointing for him.
Tharsus looked to Aurora and her sword for a moment, then as she relaxed he looked to her friend Alistar. "Magic cards. That would have been a new one." He said looking him over. Finally he looked to all the guards and yet again Aurora. "Hmph. I don't care what you do in all honesty. I'm just to keep an eye on you..." He said finally feeling content, or more relaxed about his immediate company. Outnumbered, might have been good fun. "At most I'll just be accompanying you." As far as she knew at least.
