Never done the 'pet' thing. Â Though I would probably make a good one.

In earlier years, I would go into 'slave mode' for fun on occasion. Â Bathing my partner, pampering them, dressing them, etc. Â It was usually just for a few hours or so. Â But I found it fun.

Generally, I am a male that has no problem playing the subordinate. Â I remember talking with folks at work and many of the guys were worried about women that made more money than them. Â I would be asked if I could love/live with a woman who made more money than me. Â I always said 'sure!' Â I would not mind at all being the homebody while someone else brought home the bacon. Â Heck, I know some guys who cannot even accept a female boss at work!

Honestly, I don't think I could handle being a 'pet'. Of course, that's partly the reason why I'd find the experience so intriguing. It's an aspect of myself I've never really explored--so I'd be naturally curious about it.

It's in my nature to treat other people as equals. At work, I play the management role...I'm just not that submissive. I could never go about bieng someone's furry pet for an extended period of time. If I ever was to be someone's pet, it would have to be somone I knew and trusted. In the end, i'd probably make a bad pet.

That's how us raptors are, I'm afraid--not so submissive. Ah well!

Thats really a vauge thing though, the whole pet and master thing. I mean, it works to say that you belong to your lover as they belong to you, (mutual thing you know, like how relationships mainly are). And thats how it applies for me. Ive always wanted to be someones lion, and now Ive got a wonderfull vixen who I shall provide all the warm cuddles, support and encouragement, and security for

heh Leo I'm a pet and my owner has a mate that isnt me. Him and his mate treat me like their lil panther ':blush:'

I met up with my mate over New Years and wore my collar.
Quite a few times he'd use it to pull me close for a kiss and suggested I should get a lead too.

I've UNINTENTIONALLY referred to my parents as my "owners" and used the analogy of a "tight leash" when my rules were strict on a subject.

This happened the other day and I was like, "woah... did that come out of me?" It was a wierd moment. I had to post it here XP

i have to confess that i respect people's choices, but this one, i respect with a chuckle -- a pet? still... if some people are happy being pets, good for them. if it makes you happy, it can't be that bad, no?

some other people, though, (raises paw) are meant to be wild and free. =)

i recently had a chance to see a falcon that appeared to have escaped -- it had a strap of sorts tied to one of its talons. and as i looked at it closely, i saw it wasn't afraid of me at all, and he/she was curious about me too, just too smug to show it. =)

i thought it would be a horrible sin to "break" such a beautiful creature. which brings me back to "some people are meant to be wild and free." especially both. =) well, if they want to, that is.

i dont think i see myself as the pet type but then again iv never really thought about it
i like cuddles and being scratched behind the ear and stuff i wouldnt see myself in a d/s relationship but i like the idea of just being loved

I may be a pet, but I am still wild and free. I do not consider myself broken in any way, shape or form. To me, being someone's pet is giving them your wholehearted trust, not your freedom. There's a difference between being a slave and a pet, you know.

I've always considered it more of a fun thing. Â To have a nametag and be called pet names, etc. Â Not so much as to define you in a dominant/submissive relationship. Â Plus the idea of being led around on a leash was always oddly amusing and attractive to me. Â Really being a pet has never affected my personal freedoms. Â I'm sure there's some people who might take it serious, but for most of us I'm fairly sure it's just an idea we take for fun.
