Gravel? Ouch. ':dead:'
That sounds like it would hurt.

Moist dirt is fun for me, too.

Haha, TKD is HΛЯDΚΩЯE!

I've never tried the woods, becuase our local woods is nettle central, so if I want loads of white acid sting blotches on my footpaws and be unable to walk for a week then I'll go do that.

I just walked barepawed to the chip shop and back to get my dinner, that was fun, looking in all the cars, seeing peoples faces, listening to comments... and the pavement feels nice and cool tonight. Lovely.

Yup. I hate socks and shoes. I don't know why I hate them, exactly, but I hate them. If I *have* to wear shoes, it'll be sandals (boots, of course, in the winter/trecking). I only really wear shoes for school.

I barepawed the city today for the first time, and all I have to say is they keep the pavements in immaculate condition. They are lovely, it's like they hoover and wash them every day, theyre smooth and slick and lovely.

Also went through some water that had ran from someone washing their car, left some bare paw prints! '<img'>

too bad cities are full of stuff on the floor.
But a nice, warm spot is great to be barepawed, be where it may be.

I don't think anyone likes shoes, really. They just wear them because they have to.

Now I'm gonna look the way my name implies.   XD  I'm not really one for going barepawed,  I likes me shoes.  Don't get me wrong though, I leave them off now and then in the summer.  I'm just more comfy with them on.  *shrugs*

Was in my kitchen earlier. Stepped on a large shard of glass on the floor, not sure where it came from though.

Anyone want to guess what happened?

I almost always wear shoes and socks, even when I'm at home relaxing.  I don't mind going without though...it just depends what I'm doing.

Boooo @ shoes and socks!

I wear neither if I can avoid it, only when I go out in when it's cold.  Glad it's warm enough again that I can wear sandals.

Although this winter I decided to try a little experiment.  It was late and I'd already taken off my socks for the night.  There was a light dusting of snow on the ground, and somebody IM'd me to lend him a couple cards for a Magic tournament in the morning.  So I told him I'd put them in my mailbox for him.  I had wanted to try being barepawed in the snow for a while.  I do love being barepawed in mud and get so few chances to do so, and I figured that snow would feel about the same.  This semed like as good a time as any to try it.  Well, I was indeed correct, it felt fantastic, that same woderful soft/wet feeling as mud, only colder.  The only problem was, by the time I made it to the mailbox at the end of the driveway and back my feet were numb from the cold O.o  So as fun as it was, I don't think I'll be trying that again.

I hate shoes- absolutely hate them. I'll wear sandles when I can and have to have something on, shoes are for work ':p' .

I run around barepawed at home all day year round and I too prefere to drive that way. Funny thing- they said it was illegal here as well yet when I actually researched it it turned out that it isn't. Check your state codes and you may find that it is refering back to the early days of driving and that the law is no longer applicable or enforcable  '<img'>

Huh, I learned to drive in Michigan as well and they always told us it was illegal to drive bare-pawed. I'll have to look into that.

I used to go everywhere I could bare-pawed but I have too many problems with my feet nowadays and wearing shoes more often seems to keep them under control.

bare pawed driving is legal. www.barefooters.org is somewhere you should check out. There is a mailing list, but I'm posting the link for the facts, not for community/links. And it's not perverted or anything weird.

When it's too cold, even being near the freezers in lidl across the road my feet and ankles get very sore, they seize up and stay that way until they warm up again.. so snow barepawing is a no no
