Well, when i first joined i thought pretty much the same thing. ive always loved wolves and felt a connection with them, but im also pretty feline in personality. My solution is that im a cat wolf.
I guess you could always settle down and just choose one animal if you want, or you could combine them. Another option is to have a couple different fursonas.
I'd love to have another cat/wolf around though 
Okay so i haven't been on the fourms in some time, but I was just browsing some older one's I posted.
And Daray Tala Wolf you in luck cuz I did end up settling on more or less that. A cat/wolf/mutt hybrid...crazy i know but hey I like it
And I totally call it a WAT just because every time I think about it I'm like what was I thinking? Haha And I did read some of these before I got busy and forgot this site and it was very helpful.
