Date Math Game
« on: November 05, 2013, 06:11:51 pm »
This is a fun game we used to do in grade school.

All you have to do is take the date, and turn it into a math equation.

For example, today is November 5th, 2013.

So, 1*1*5-2+0*1 = 3

You can be creative with this!

1+1/0+5(20)+1/3

That's a brave equation o.o

Are we allowed to cluster digits together as long as they stay in the same order?
(11^5)/201 ≈ 801.25

Yeah, that's allowed.

Just make sure that it's an equation of some sort.  So something like 1+1/0+5(20)+1/3 is an expression, and is not much of a challenge.

(((1/1)^5)+2+0)*1 = 3

Except I totally missed the three... also think I see more what you're getting at now. Answer should still be part of the date.

Yes, definitely.  It's more of a challenge that way.  :)

There are still a few more I think...

But see you can't divide by zero so there would be no answer.

11-6 = (2+0)*1+3
