If this is in the wrong place sorry.
I was talking with another fur today and he mentioned something that happens in another forum, in that every week or two someone posts a random word or phrase and anyone who wishes to take part can enter photographs that they have taken with that word or phrase (or thier interpration at least) as the subject.
If this has already been brought up or discussed then I apologise, I just thought that this could be a good way to raise more interest in the photography forums, you know?

Well it seems like there is definatly some interest!! lol
I was thinking that the rules could follow these lines:

1- Every Monday I (or anyone for that matter) will post a word or phrase that will make up the subject of the photographs.

2- Anyone who wishes to take part will have the till the following Sunday to post thier photos.

3- Digital manipulation IS allowed but idealy kept to a minimum, ie adjusting contrast or colour levels.

Do you think these are ok? Anything to add to them?

  I agree that any thing other than the above should be kept out. A highly modified photo would be more inline for WS's new contest, I like the  idea of what the photographer can capture in the raw.

Yes that seems right to me too... Id also suggest conditions listing..Place photo was taken(ei.horse farm 10 miles from town)-time of day-and why you think the photo fits the catagory-type of camera would be cool too.

Yes,could we keep it to links insted of actual photos IN the thread,or it will take me(and anyone else with slow connection)forever to view the page...
I wont be participating as much as Id like untill I get back home from vacation but Ill try to now and then.
