The smell of charred flesh and burning grass fill the air around you. Your ears take in the sounds of gunfire, explosions and orders being shouted and tires digging into a wet dirt road. the driver and his co-driver could be heard arguing. "The only safe place is Ft.Fields...no place else is taking in survivors." "That's because every other base has fallen!" As the drivers argued a high pitched shriek pierced the air. Soon about half-a-dozen grotesque looking Cryptids came out of the surrounding fields, the top of them a light and dark tan while their stomach was a dark purple. ETA is 15 minutes out!If we make it that long... As one of the Cryptids got closer a loud crack filled the air and a warm soft green liquid painted part of the convoy. The Cryptid lay still for a few seconds before pushing itself back up. It let out a cry of pain and frustration then began running after the convoy, removing it's damaged arm as well. More shots rang out and more of the Cryptids dropped, very few getting up this time. That would be those few wonderful people over at Ft.Field. Off in the distance you could see a tattered flag bearing the HumanAnthroLeague symbol on it. Just 10 more minutes and you'd be safe for now, but you knew in the back of your mind that this safety would be fleeting, just as everything is over at the Burning Fields.

This is a dystopic future with a dose of reality, such as: Wounds can fester, you won't be able to drink inordinate amounts of alcohol and feel perfectly fine, bullets hurt. Bad. Personality: Cold and calculating, knows how to make the hard calls, doesn't come off as the most friendly person in the world, seems cold and distant refusing to let people in or see the real him. But deep down he is actually very caring and worries about those around him even if he doesn't show it.
Background:Worked in retail his entire life, was attending college with the hopes of becoming a Lawyer dealing in international business. Studied psychology and some medical. Got his CNA and is a certified scuba diver. Fun fact is a certifiable Sociopath!

Background: drove dirt track cars for the majority of her life, and has just recently gotten into driving for some more... High risk clients. Otherwise, mostly undeveloped.

Background: She worked more than a couple of years as a mechanical engineer...and she wasn't bad at it either, mainly did work in fabrication and design, but she had the schooling to do repair as well, her father wanted a boy but they had her instead...so her father made due and taught her how to work on ars, she learned quickly and earned a scholarship to MIT,she never was a genius, just a really hard worker, finishing 6 years of college work in four exhausting caffeine filled years. She refuses to go anywhere without her toolbox, a gift from her father when she fixed her first car.

Physical Appearance: slim but still appears to have a average muscle tone, dark brown eyes, Brown and blonde fur except lime green on one ear(right), has a claw slash mark tattoo on his muzzle down the side (left dark red), and a tattoo of a woodland forest in the middle of his right paw pad, dyed red tail and other ear blood red(left).
Personality: looks tough(he is) but can be looked up to kinda like a father figure, he knows what has to be done sometimes, he looks out for others, he is sometimes willing to give up his life for others.
Background: Grew up in Minnesota living a average life in a middle-class family, both of his parents were in the medical field his mom worked at a hospital and his father a medic in the military. Griff worked at a restraunt on the weekend's being the manager. On weekdays he was a local level deputy with 7 years experience. Began doing illegal activities and eventually gave up being a cop.(Two years since he gave up)
Clothes: green button(buttoned most of the time) up flannel with rolled up sleeves and camo pants

The highest i'll allow is local level deputy, The vast majority of Swat are ex-military, and it's a full 24/7 job not just on weekdays. also you can't dictate whether or not characters are still alive, he can hope their alive.

Background: He grew up with his mother in a small apartment and once he was old enough he joined the police academy and was removed after a car accident damaged his shoulder, so he only completed 2 months of his training.
