Hi, I'm a new furry but not unfamilier with the fandom. I discovered it 4 years ago through youtube and have been kind of on the fence about it  ever since. Then, a few days ago I was just like, why not just give a try. So I came up with a fursona and everything. He's a black and white husky.
I came across this forum  by searching furry forums in google and I love how it's pg. I have no problem with furry sex but I think it's something that shoud be kept seperate.
My main passions are classical music and cooking and I am studying at the music academy and hope to play professionaly once I graduate in a few years.
I really look foward to partaking in this community. It seems like a lot of fun.

From one husky to another, Welcome.  :goldthpt:

What type of husky are you? The word "husky" is just a general term to refer to breeds of Arctic working class dogs such as Siberian Husky, Alaskan Malamute, Samoyed, and a few others.

Thanks. He's siberian. I kniw it's kind of generic but I don't care.

He's a siberian. I know it's generic but I honestly don't care. I don't have the creativity to come up with something elaborate and I don't really want that anyway

I was typing this on a park bench when  I looked up and a siberian husky was passing by. Maybe a sign?

Welcome to Furtopia!

How many more sled dogs do we need until we can form a Furtopia racing team?

 Cool!
Glad u made it Hans!
Now, remember other breeds can pull a sled... like German Shepards!  ;) although not as well.

I honestly like the more simple fursonas at times.  If you like it, that's all that matters,  right?
I've been called a generic GSD, but it is what I like and want.

And if you do chase Old Rabbit, he is a whole lot faster then you think!

I hear you like classical music.  All I know is I once heard a band called Bond. And I loved it. They are classically trained musicians, but play with synths and such to accompany them.   :-[

Invite them in and make them beg for more!

I just checked them out. I have to say that it isn't really my taste but I think the way they combine different genres is very clever.

This is why you're not on my team. Not enough stamina, and can't handle the cold.

Right.  Bond is not true classical...
Thanks for humoring me on that one.
I like it some.

So what about Two Steps From Hell? More classical than Bond. But not like Bach.

And Kobuk,
I can handle the cold IRL especially as GSD me ( wearing my animal bag). But no,  no sled pulling for me.

Maybe Hans can pull you around if you give him free meals at your cafe.

Well it's hard to define classical music as it's a genre that spans a good 400 years.  Two steps to me sounds like  a combination of John Williams style film music and minimalist music which was invented by Steve Reich in the 70's. I suggest you listen to his piece: "Music for 14 Musicians" to get an idea of what the genre is. Also, if you are interested and have the attention span, I suggest you listen to Richard Wagners's Nibelugan which was pretty much the music that inspired all modern film music.
I can send you links if you're interested.
