Hello and thanks for visiting my art thread! I will be posting anything and everything I draw here.

For the most part, it will be sketches and in-progress stuff. I still have trouble... "finishing" anything.

And uhh, I am open to critique and advice! I am trying to improve!

To start things out, here is just a rough reference pic for my namesake fursona, Rufure! I will try to upload references of my other sonas soon, too!

And before anyone asks, I did not draw my avatar pic! It was drawn by a close friend of mine. (EDIT: Changed my avatar so disregard that lol.)

I look forwardto seeing some artwork of yours and I can give a few tips and I am sure old rabbit will be all too happy to help he is one of the artists around here (he is really good) ut yeah the forum can give some pointers and maybe give yous some requests if you take em wich may be fun

For the most part, I am still just trying to figure out digital art. I don't understand coloring for the life of me, but I will keep trying. > ~ <))

Maybe I will take requests in the future--it would be good practice after all. If I do open requests, I'll upgrade my OP with all that info!

Thank you, Old Rabbit! Yes, he is very talented. I look up to him a lot as an artist. ^ ^

Here is another pic of Rufure I'm working on. I feel like my lineart and coloring is all so flat, and I'm not sure how to advance from here.

(Something's wonky with the layers with those white spots down there, too. I wasn't able to figure out where that white is coming from.)

You did a nice job on the drawing..

My suggestion is the characters left shoulder appears to be a bit too high.

Now that you mention it, his left shoulder is a little high. I'm still figuring out the nuances of perspective.

Glad to help. I have found a good way to spot perspective problems is to look at your
drawings in reverse. Or in a mirror. When working on a drawing one becomes accustomed to
the figures shape, and can miss things you would otherwise see..

Your last drawing looks nice as well.

Old Rabbit, yes, I actually used that technique!

It helped me a lot to get the shape of his left eye right.
I will definitely continue doing that on future drawings and try to spot all the problems.

Drew myself a new avatar. The original sketch in my sketchbook wasn't so... spoopy... but that's how it turned out. Also, Rufure's design is evolving.

Getting a little more comfortable with digital lineart and base coloring, but still not sure what I'm doing when it comes to shading. ^ ^'' Ah well.
