This wolf is trying to stay busy as he finishes up some commissions and a request.  Here are some sketches of what I am up to at this moment.

For KitCoon

For Manethran

For Bormac

If this is a double posting from another area of the forum, then I apologize for that, but I thought that maybe it would get more views in this area of the forum.

Thanks for being patient with me.  *waves paw*

No you are right.  They are light.  I sketch in 2H pencil, so the drawings are little light.

*Hands Patrick a pen* Part two? They are adorable. I really like Manethran the best. Im kinda into that "days of yore" look. Are you going to darken or color them?

Very nice work.  I like the facial expressions and also how cute they all are.  Can't wait to see them when you are finished!

Until next we meet,
River

Oh, yes, ink and color on all of them.  These are just the sketches.  I posted them to show that I am actually working on the projects.  I finished one of them and posted it in "Artwork Announcements" if you want to have a look.

I am glad my encouragement fuels your inspiration and talent Patrick.  One thing you can count on from me is an honest opinion when critiquing writing or art.  False flattery is pointless to me.  Honesty is much more refreshing and also more helpful if someone really needs to improve something.  And by the same token, when a compliment is given, you know it is truely deserved.

Blessings,
River

They are ALL adorable, SOE! I especially like the facial expression on the "Bormac" one! That dragon is soooo cute!

I saw the colored version of "Kitcoon". That is so adorable as well and definitely color helps a pic so much!

*claps paws*  Hear!  Hear!  I love a good critique.  I can't improve unless I get a realistic assessment of how I am doing with a piece.  Me, I am my own worst critic.  My wastebasket can attest to that.
